Had a great dinner at Bald Top Brewing Co. we sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful view, along with the great pizza and beer. They had fire pits, lawn chess, and corn hole.

Awesome oven baked pizza and delicious local beers!!!

Very nice place to enjoy a really good crafted beer. They are doing a very awesome job with the stouts. But most of the beers are exceptional. Staff is very friendly, and the pizzas are sooo delicious.

We stopped by here on a November Saturday afternoon after a hike in Shenandoah National Park. It was perfect for our group. Lovely atmosphere and views. It was a warm, sunny day so we enjoyed a table on the lawn. They had a varied selection of good beer and the pizza was delicious. We even finished the visit with a "dessert pizza." The owners were on site and were happy to check in on their guests -- very friendly place overall. They even had live music. Give them a try if you're in the area.

We had an 8-beer flight and an amazing fresh pizza. The BEST beer and pizza I've ever had in Virginia. Cool live band and you can watch the tractors and cows while eating, drinking, and listening to the band. Yard games and other things too. This is one of the best breweries I've ever been to and can't recommend it enough.

Beautiful craft brewery not far from Shenandoah National Park. Lots of outdoor space including a covered picnic area and several fire pits. Tons of space for kids or pets to roam.
They have a great selection of beers, including many different styles- they had 20 on draft when I visited.
They were also pouring 10 wines and had three different ciders on the day we visited.
They also have a full kitchen serving wings, panini, pizza, salads, etc.
Be warned that their flight glasses are pretty large, so plan to have a driver or stay a while if you get the 8 beer flight! Or you can rent out the manor house down the road and make a weekend of it.

An exceptional atmosphere for relaxing with family and friends. Great beverage choices coupled with simple menu items of pizza, tater tots, and BQQ make me smile.

Went here with some pals after hiking Old Rag. It was great to relax and enjoy the music and outdoor area. There was a slight mix-up with a bill but management was very quick and intentional to have it corrected. Looking forward to our next visit.

The pizza and beer selection is top-notch! Indoor and outdoor seating is available. The staff are excellent and do a fantastic job of taking care of customers! It would be great to see a playset area for kids (similar to Yoder)!

Just visited for the first time a few weeks ago. I'm a new Madison resident and was surprised to see some local breweries in the area.

Variety of beers was great. They even had some wines and ciders available. Pizzas were great as well. And the VIEW! Very pretty scenery. It was cold and windy when I went, but looking forward to coming back and enjoying the spring/summer festivities.

Really fun venue and location! Super cool interior vibe (Orvis merch?!). Definitely hit up the DIPA and a pizza out of their huge oven. Highest recommendation. A must see Virginia brew co!

Bald Top has a great location to sit back and relax. The Beer and Ciders are all very good and on par with other local breweries. One of the things that stands out from the others is the Artisan pizzas they make fresh to order. The Queen Bee (pepperoni, jalapeno, with honey drizzle) is a favorite. The brewery is tucked away in the rolling hills with nice views. Grab an outside seat with a fire pit and enjoy. Good Beer, Good Pizza hard to go wrong.

A beautiful location and delicious beer. There is room for kids and dogs to run, picnic tables, fire pits and live music. The views are spectacular and the owners are so friendly and gracious! We had great pizza and they had delicious king cake for Mardi Gras as well! So great, we will definitely be coming back.

A hidden gem in Madison, VA. Not even a mile away from city center and on top of a hill sits this incredibly inviting brewery with exceptional views, plenty of room for kids and dogs to run, fantastic and tasty beer and very kind people. I will strongly recommend you stop by when in the area.

Went for a Pranapiloga yoga class, stayed for beer! Very friendly, knowledgeable staff, fair price, stellar beers. Kids had a blast, too.. board games, Cornhole, popcorn, and got them lunch from the food truck they had today. Will definitely be back to this family friendly venue!!

We came previously for a vendor event and also had a great experience with both the staff, organizer, and just the general vibe. Customer service is top notch.

Sunday drive from Richmond. The property is B.E.A.utiful! The beer was fantastic. Had the Czech pilsner and the stout and both were top notch. Highly recommend stopping in if you are in the area. P.S. I am the taproom manager of a brewery and can appreciate a quality brewery when I visit.

Been wanting to come here for a long time, and it did not disappoint!!! SO MANY beers to choose from, and all of them that I had in my flight were good! The view is beautiful, there's a variety of seating, and plenty of room... With tvs inside if you want to watch some football or something. Wish I lived closer to go back often!
