A very nice and small winery nestled
In the foothills.
Of the Blue Ridge mountains paralleling Shenandoah National Park... they also have an on-site Brewery but they only have four selections but I found a Bit O' Bitter ABV to be excellent... they have seven wine selections as well as five Ciders all very good.... they also serve on site prepared food ...the scenery is great as well as the atmosphere check it out if you happen to get into the area!!

We stumbled upon this wonderful new winery/brewery after hiking Old Rag. They’ve got a good selection of wine, beer, and cider and some good snack options too. Great outdoor space with lots of picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, and covered space. We met the owners and they were very friendly, excited about their business, and happy make our visit wonderful. Two friendly dogs are there to welcome you. We can’t wait to come back and spend some more time here.

What a wonderful experience! The owners are incredibly kind and made the wine tasting even better than we could've hoped. The wines were flavorful and had great depth, especially the viogniers and petit verdot. The cream ale was delicious as well. Come for the wines and beers, stay for the views and hospitality! We will be back!

Lovely new venue with friendly service and tasting trays. Plenty of seating but loud inside. There is outdoor seating available that is both children and dog friendly. The wines were limited and fair tasting but the sangria was delicious. We did not try the beers. Nice, family friendly place to enjoy an afternoon picnic.

Yesterday evening Debra and I went to Front Royal to pick up some chicken supplies and also have a burger at Spelunkers. Best burgers on the east coast and real french fries! On the way up we had seen Blue Quartz winery/brewery on route 231. We decided to stop on the way back and very glad we did! Beautiful setting and had some good hard ciders. Had a couple beers Debra liked and some wine too. Their chardonnay done in steel was our favorite. They have a light menu, which we didn't try, after having burgers earlier. Sat outside and enjoyed the view and enjoyed talking with other customers and staff. One of the most pleasant evenings we've had in a while!

Nice view, quiet, family friendly. Because of covid, only sell bottle not glasses. They allow you to bring your own food. You can give it a try after hiking. I was there yesterday afternoon around 12:00pm. We been told only bottle wine not sell by glasses. Could you check with your employees?

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon after hiking the Whiteoak Falls. I ordered the wine flight and a Radler and both were refreshing on a summer day. There were several picnic tables with umbrellas that provided some shade from the setting us and allowed us to enjoy the live music with a view. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful as well. I will be back if I'm ever in the area to try their beer and cider selections!

My family and I loved being at the winery. This was a great place for bringing your kids because there is so much open space for kids to run around while you’re sipping good wine. The charcuterie plate was ok but the space was amazing.

The wife loved the wine, she was very impressed with the quality. I had the beers and loved that it had German/Belgian influence. We got the pretzels with legit German mustard, amazing, hits you right in the sinuses! Highly recommended.

Rally great spot with the nicest, most down to Earth owners. Great wine and cider with spectacular views of the surrounding terrain. Definitely one of our new favorite spots.

Terrific winery that shares a tasting room with a brewery so there is something for everyone. We went two nights in a row while in the area and enjoyed live music and tasty food along with their lovely wine. They are dog and kid friendly and have loads of outdoor and indoor space. This one is a don’t miss!

So much to love about this place!
*Warm and inviting atmosphere inside and out. Cozy quilts, fireplace and rocking chairs during the cool months make it a great place to warm your soul. In the warm months it's simply glorious outside. Adirondack chairs, picnic tables cafe tables/chairs and lawn games.
*Great selection of wine, beer and cider. Some of the best that Virginia has to offer. Something for everyone! Jefferson would be proud!
*The view!!!!!
*Food! There's always something good to eat: either from their own kitchen; serving up perfect noshes, snacks and even comfort food, or from the area's best food trucks. You won't leave hungry.
*Music on the weekends - Blue Grass, R&B, Rock, Country/Folk, Reggae.... They even have an "open jam" once a month.
*Dog friendly. Almost always a couple happy pups relaxing with their humans. And let's not forget the owner's 2 adorable and sweet Shelties that can be found charming the guests or managing the staff😉.
*Kid friendly - lots of green grass on which to make memories in the sun.
*Last but not least, smiles and a warm welcome from the wine makers and brewers!

I love coming here to unwind after hiking old rag. They have a wonderful selection of both craft beer and wine. There’s a large fireplace inside to relax by on cold days, and a beautiful open patio/lawn overlooking old rag and their vineyard. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

Wonderful atmosphere, beautiful setting and finally generous pours on a flight! The wines excellent and very smooth. Also have some nicest beers available. Looked beautiful inside too so hopefully one day we all can enjoy that space. Will enjoy the two bottles to go and thank you for a great experience! 🍷

Best experience at a brewery this year. Stopped here after hiking Old Rag and seeing the open sign at the base of the hill and stopping on a whim and am really glad that we did.

The outdoor set up was excellent. They have 4 fireplaces with adirondack chairs around them, and a covered seating area with heaters (in addition to more seating around picnic tables, bar etc.). It was a cloudy, mid-50s kinda day and we were really comfortable around the fires.

Did the beer flight, all were great beers but the porter was my favorite. They typically aren't my thing but theirs was a little lighter than most and it was perfect for me.

The owners were super kind and social. They have 3 adorable Shelties that were running around the day we were there. Bought the porter, a cider, and asked for the mulled wine on our way out. They were not allowed to sell the mulled wine due to ABC law so they sold us the wine that goes in it and then the owner took the time to write out the recipe. Having it for Thanksgiving and its immediately become a family favorite.
