Great place. I mainly use the park to launch a kayak and fish for snook and redfish. The boat ramp is in great shape, but it could be a little shallow during low tide. If you’re a bird watcher, that is also very good as well. Across A1A the park provides you beach access with clean bathrooms.

Beautiful state park on the beach in Flagler FL. RV spots are tight on the beach, but very roomy on the riverside. Boat dock for small boat, bike trails and walking distance to restaurant to the north. Fantastic park!

Brief stop while RVing on our way to another State Park for the evening. The Park is divided by HWY A1A with the older side being near the beach/ocean. These sites are small and would be a challenge for any RV over 24' according to the Ranger on duty. On the opposite side is the newer RV section. Plenty of space for larger RVs. None of the sites on either side have sewer but there are dump stations. No wifi and we had 2-3 bars with T-Mobile. If you are just visiting, there is no real RV parking area. There is a small field near the end of the drive (newer side) where the Ranger allowed us and another rig to park temporarily. If you approach the Park from the North - Flager Beach, it will be a right turn. When departing, if your GPS says turn right on A1A be warned there are sections of the road that are prone to flooding. The first 10 miles or so from the Park are very narrow, no shoulder. There are trails for bike riding and a nice Nature Walk hiking trail. The Ranger Station has a small selection of Park specific merchandise.

Nice place to camp, we stayed two days and it was very relaxing. We were on the beach side, I didn't make it across the street but it looked beautiful.

This beach is dog friendly, we were there in February so it wasn't very crowded, but was very beautiful.

I love everything about this park. The Campground is very well maintained. Sites are level with fine gravel, which is raked prior to arrival. The Campground host sold me firewood. I loved the beach and hiking the nature trails. It was a great experience and very relaxing.

So we camped in the River side. Sites are bigger and much more spaced out. Very quiet and very clean. Everyone was so friendly! One bathroom in the middle and had laundry machines. 2 dump stations. Nice area to fish. 1 nature trail. Beachside is very nice just sites are tight and seem short.
We went during bike week .. which we never knew about .. so all the beach restaurants were packed. Head more inland if you’re looking for smaller crowds at this time . Highly recommend.

Update stayed 9/15-9/17/23. Site 34 Oceanside but no view (so nice due to privacy being last site before turn around). Sites remain messy and hold water. Unusual for power to keep tripping, had to switch to 50 amp cord. Beach access just a few steps away. NICEST, EASIEST KAYAK LAUNCH over at the riverside camping (see pictures). You are guaranteed to see dolphin right near the launch site.. they are there! Also, don’t forget to purchase (cash only) a Gamble Rodgers sticker and magnet only available at the ranger station ($5 each). Enjoy and appreciate the park since it is due to be closed 6/2024 for road repairs.

Rent this 28ft RV (RVSHARE) pick up Satellite Beach or have it delivered. Had a ocean front site with a great view. Easy access to the water with showers near restrooms. Clean restrooms. Hard to keep campsite clean since the sites and road access could use some gravel due to continuous flooding/pooling every time it rained. Just a short walk over to a great oceanfront restaurant! Never pass an opportunity to go, waves were great and sand was just beautiful!

We had an amazing couple days! It was hot and there were some noseeums that got us the first night, but the area was clean the people were great and the water was nice! Can't complain about any of it. Definitely think we'll come back soon.

Great campground to go to the beach and watch beautiful sunrises. Just a walk over the dunes to the beach. Walking distance to a great beach front restaurant (but check for days open). Nice nature walk in the river side part of the park. Bathhouse was clean and had nice showers. Only problem is that some of the sites and the road have standing water after a heavy rain. It drains within a few hours after the rain stops.

I have been there several times it's always full I just called back this last week the rangers are always the very best friendly helpful everything you could ask they can try to answer for you the best of your knowledge but I called back my wife's birthday that is really my fault waiting so long and you're full again you're the most busy and full place again I tried to get it again for my wife's birthday coming up but you're full always my luck. If you get RV camp site open April 4 . To. April 8. Please let me know thank you.

At first my husband and I weren’t thrilled about how close the sites were with no trees for privacy. The campground was amazing! Spots are tight like (Disney’s fort wilderness tight maybe a little tighter) but well worth it, we were able to fit our 35 1/2 trailer plus a 2500 truck with a full size suv on the site and still have enough space to have a camp fire. You are right on the beach so all night you can hear the ocean waves. Restrooms are for the most part clean and smell clean our only issue with the bathroom was other people being disgusting and making a mess and not cleaning up after themselves. I definitely would go back and highly recommend. The area is nice. You have plenty of food options we ordered from high tides it’s 2 minutes from the campground and very reasonably priced for good fresh seafood.

Spectacular camping. We had spot 31 and 33 on the beach Side. I would not camp on the river side personally we walked over there and it was very hot and there’s not any water access over there. Spot 13 seems to be the best for the lowest bushes so you could see the ocean from your site. You cannot see the ocean from our sites 31 and 33 so it doesn’t really matter what spot you get (unless it’s spot 13 which looks to be the best) as long as you’re on the water side loop. There were three board walks down to the ocean, the sand is a bit odd as it seems trucked in and steep at places. At high Tide it was very difficult to walk along the beach because of the angle of the sand however at low tide it was perfect. The facilities were absolutely spotless the volunteers doing very good job of keeping everything clean and well-maintained. There’s a dump station for campers on both the Riverside on the ocean side making it very convenient to dump when you leave in an RV. There’s fresh water electricity at every site. It’s walking distance along the beach to the local bar/restaurant. And if you walk south you walk to another state park and there’s literally no one on the beach. I walked for 90 minutes on a Saturday morning at 7 AM and did not see another human being besides the turtle patrol on their golf carts. I recommend this relaxing park.

One of just a few ocean side state parks in Florida that's on a rise. With snowbirds booking a year in advance I was lucky to get a site. Very quiet. Lovely views. And normally beach accessible, although not at this time due to hurricane Ian damage.

Gamble Rogers is such a beautiful park. The bathrooms are nice and clean. They were being painted this week. I've had the pleasure of camping at 3 different beachside sites recently, and each one has its benefits. I have to say site 17 is by far my favorite!

Perfect CLEAN campsite right on the beach. Clean restrooms & showers. Had two washing machines & one dryer, $2.00 each well worth it. The dryer was very hot I was able to do two loads on only $2.00. Staff was really nice. Our Ranger was Mike and he was very nice & knowledgeable. BEACH was beautiful! The sunrise from my bed was SPECTACULAR! We Can’t Wait To Be Back.

Terrific free beach access along A1A just south of the town of Flagler Beach; quiet, beautiful sand populated primarily by surf fishermen and beach-strollers, in a refreshingly old-fashioned, even retro, area. Adjoining state park ($5 day) boasts everything from kayaking to hiking to surfing, as well as great RV sites (water/elec) right in the dunes. Adventures to fill a weekend, easy.
