From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly, the food was amazing and very tasty. The chicken soup and pig feet was delicious, they also have the best tostones ever. Waitress was very friendly also.

Another St. Cloud, FL gem. Super kind owners and delicious food and desserts! The Tres Leches cake is something I’ve been searching for ever since I tried it in California at a little girl’s birthday party made by a home cook: drenched with milk and rich yet light. Well here it is again, finally, Mi Casa has the real deal: Tres Leches cake that’s perfect, not too sweet, drenched with milk but not heavy, topped with a light whipped topping (see photo) and the owner told me not to shake the container or the liquid might come out. My husband ate it and said, “Mmm, that’s good! How does it hold together?” I said, “Magic.”

Plus her mondongo (tripe stew) tastes like my auntie’s. Another customer told me people come from miles around for the owner’s mondongo.

The hot table here has different items to go that change daily. Plus there is a menu for the sit down restaurant.

The hot table today had ribs, baked chicken, chicken stew (pollo guisado), beef stew, arroz y gandules (rice with pigeon peas), black beans, and many more items than I can remember.

The regular menu had English and Spanish translations for the dishes and was more extensive than I’d expected and rivals the menu of Las Vegas Cuban restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale. The interior of the restaurant is larger than expected as well, and has a cheery color scheme. I really want to go back for the Cuban steak with onions and the Medianoche sandwich.

Today I had the mondongo, arroz y gandules, berenjena (similar to babaganoush, but this was eggplant with onions, garlic, bell peppers), coconut pudding, guava pastry and the inimitable Tres Leches cake! About the guava pastry it resembled the Colombian version I’d seen down south but this was better because the pastry was lighter, the cheese was softer and it had turbinado sugar sprinkled on top.

This place is legit. Every time I come they have a super friendly attitude and a mega delicious buffet. I asked for a fritura and they cooked it on the spot. Cuban sandwiches are amazing too. If you come this way don’t miss it!

Food is absolutely amazing here!! Had a pineapple shake(with water)so refreshing!!and chicken rice and beans and mangu! staff is friendly, warm, eager to serve. Definitely makes you feel like home.

Excellent service! Fresh made empanadas, of all kinds. Everything we had here was great, but the empanadas with guava and queso are amazing!

Great place to eat! Small Mom & Pop latin food. The service is great, they know you by name once you become a frequent customer. We truly enjoy the food and they are expanding! Give it at least a try, you will leave happy and satisfied!!!

The food was excellent. Big portions and flavorful. Customer service was also excellent. We moved to St. Cloud in Nov 2019 and can literally walk to Mi Casa. So disappointed we didn't discover this jem earlier. We will be patronizing this restaurant often.

The Mofongo is the real thing with Carne Frita fried pork chunks. The Bistec Encebollado with rice and beans is like being in Puerto Rico. Every time we drive by stop here. Great handmade limeade. Majarete and Tembleque for dessert.

Fantastic food and very friendly service! We found this place on Yelp and decided to try since it got very good reviews. It did not disappoint ! The staff were super friendly and welcoming. We had a very large group with a bunch of little kiddos and these guys were so polite and kind to us. Food was amazing and even our picky kids loved it. Highly recommend this spot and its great supporting small business!

We asked for a recommendation as we are new to this restaurant. The food was wonderful! I had steak, rice and black beans with plantains. My wife had chicken. The owner Junior gave us wonderful service. A very pleasant dining experience with great service. We will be back! By the way I had some cake... I also give that 5 stars!

Great food, awesome menu including dishes I am unable to find anywhere else in the area such as mofongo de yuca, mofondo de pana, and trifongo. The restaurant is clean, the service is friendly. I tried their tres leches and it was delicious, so I bought 2 more to go to bring to my kids. Their pernil was juicy and flavorful. Overall, this is new spot when I crave some good dominican food. In fact, I hope they offer catering because I will order from them for our Thanksgiving party. :)
