JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes

I wanted a hotel that took my dog and had a nice pool. This hotel was fabulous for both requirements. They have a really nice walking path by the lake that my Norwich Terrier loved, and the pool was very nice with different areas and types of loungers.
We had a nice view over the pool close to the elevator. It was very quiet.
We went to diner at Prime. The server forgot my husband’s pasta dish and brought his salad with my pasta dish. It took a very long time to bring us his meal once we brought the issue to their attention. At breakfast, I ordered an omelette with bacon in it, and the bacon came uncooked. The waitress was super understanding and offered a new one and did not charge us for it. The cook told her that it didn’t need to be cooked because it was already smoked. We all agreed it needed to be to be fried first to give it texture.
I loved the hotel. It seems more of a grown up hotel with few children. This was perfect for us, but if you are going to Disney, it is not close.

We stayed next door at the Ritz and stopped over with the kids to have lunch, use the water slide, pool and water obstacle course. The kids had a blast, pool is pretty with lots of chairs and space. It is a little bit of a maze to get around the pool area but once you figure it out, you’re good. Lunch was great, we had the poke bowl, chips and salsa and pimento burger with fries. It was all great. Poke bowl was my personal favorite.

We had a wonderful weekend at the JW. The lobby is gorgeous, and we enjoyed the public spaces very much. We used the lobby bar both nights- bartenders were extremely friendly and really enhanced the experience. Dinner at Primo was fantastic! We walked over to the lobby bar in the Ritz for an after dinner drink and round of cards, and again, the ambience and service could not have been better. It is so nice to have both hotels’ amenities available. The bodega and Starbucks are great options for a healthy, quick breakfast and good cup of coffee. The room was beautifully appointed, with excellent toiletries and extremely comfortable bed! We didn’t have time to use the pools, but the whole area is beautiful and we will definitely make a point of some pool time there in the future. Lunch at the pool bar upon our arrival was excellent. We will definitely put this hotel high on our list for our frequent trips to Orlando!

We stayed here over New Years and it was absolutely lovely. The staff is phenomenal - everyone incredibly nice and accommodating. Rooms were pristine. Pool area is a great time for kids! Note this is a drive away from the parks - and during the evening there is traffic to get back to the hotel. But a great option for families.

Love the property. Rooms were clean and nice. The pools, lazy rivers etc were nice all were heated. Use of ritz next door was awesome. This place sells itself short as I didn’t see advertised anywhere all the amenities they actually have! Soccer field, giant chess, ping pong, pool tables, mountain bikes to use with the room ( very nice ones like Trek!) fire pits, etc. it was a great time

Phenomenal stay at JW Marriott for my birthday! The staff provided top knot h, excellent customer service. I particularly would like to thank the chef who ensured that u could have dairy free meals. The chef took care to separately cook items that I wanted that were on the buffet. Not many locations go above and beyond to accommodate food allergies so I’m grateful for this! I love how the prop was much quieter for adults than the Disney resorts. We stared at Disney resorts before our stay here and while we adore Disney, we wanted a quieter property, this catered to adults much more! I also adored the lazy river, and many pools!

Beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The grounds are spectacular with lush greenery beautifully landscaped. The rooms were large and clean with pretty views. It was a great hotel that hosted our event of over 1300 people.

Wow this hotel is gorgeous!! And it’s connected to the Ritz Carlton. This hotel is Immaculately clean, beds are super comfortable, staff are friendly and warm. There is so much to do here from obstacle course, water slides, lazy river and 3 big pools. My kids had a blast. With this hotel you also have access to Ritz Carlton pool, kids splash pad, and games. The grounds are beautiful to tour and it’s so romantic. We had an amazing time.

I can't say enough good things about this place. Maybe the cleanest room I have ever had. The staff is incredible and goes above and beyond. A fantastic fitness center and grounds. Can't wait to come back.

Great hotel/resort. Lots of restaurant choices, some of them are really good! The lazy river was the best part! Plenty of bars for drinks and food. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It’s a pricey hotel, so if you don’t need a lazy river and need to be close to attractions, then this might not be for you..otherwise, I recommend coming back!

The exterior grounds and interior are all very clean and well kept. The plants, pool/waterslide area, and lake view are all beautiful. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Had a very comfortable stay here during a business trip. The housekeeping and restocking services are very good, and multiple good restaurants on the property. Also very conveniently located 15-20 mins from the airport and also from Universal studios.

My stay was fantastic! Love the ambience of the hotel, and really loved the rooftop bar! Room very clean and service was excellent! Will return here again!

This is a great hotel for whatever you're looking for: romantic getaway, time by the pool, a great night's rest, family vacation, you get the idea.

Now, it's not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for: great service, great food, great views, great beds, everything is really well done.

The staff is second to none - they will really try to accommodate every request you could possibly make to make your stay great.

Highly recommend the JW Marriott for whatever you are looking to do.

It's also a terrific place if you are attending a convention, whether the convention is at this hotel, the convention center, or even the Disney property, it's a short ride away from everything.

The upgrade to the pool view was well worth it. All the employees were very attentive to our needs. The restaurants had excellent food and decent portions. The pool areas were awesome. We didn't get a chance to use the slides though 😔 in our 2 night stay, I did not see 1 person use the slides. I'm upset I was too busy during the day to go myself 😕 The Saturday night fireworks show was awesome! Valet is worth it.

We had an amazing time. The resort was awesome! we stayed for 6 days in August. The entire staff including the valet workers, housekeepers, concierge and the front desk team members were all attentive and helpful. They were all friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the resort’s outside water park, pool area, outside bar and dining! We stayed at the pool most of the time during our stay. The building; and rooms were nice, and clean. Overall excellent experience. We will definitely add this hotel to the list of our top favorites places to stay while visiting Florida! 😊

World class first class service. Everything was amazing. Check-in was easy, Starbucks on site. Pool is heated. Self-parking is a short walk.

Amazing property with great friendly staff , you will feel the elevated experience from the moment you enter to till the moment you leave , everything was beyond expectations, The views , the rooms , the facilities, and the food was all excellent! I definitely enjoyed my experience and will be looking forward for my next visit.

The hotel is located roughly 10 minutes from the interstate. It has a large pool, tubing (for floating) a water slide, water obstacle course and shallow splash pad. There is a PGA designed golf course, walking / biking trails and an onsite farm. The hotel shares it's campus with the Ritz-Carlton which both share a gym and spa. There are numerous restaurants, a few with weird hours and a Starbucks. Prices for everything are expensive, but food and drinks from the bar are made well and delicious. Staff is friendly and helpful

This is an up market property with so many nice features. There are multiple on site Resturant’s, Starbucks and even a FedEx ( who were super helpful). Customer service was top notch as was the room. Now, the main attraction is the fantastic swimming pool, the huge “lazy river” and the new water park which keeps the kids and adults amused for hours. Fantastic poolside bar. Just be aware there is a $36 a day plus tax charge for self parking ( yes $36) and a $53 per day plus tax for what is termed resort fee. So in summary expect another $100 day on top of your room rate. Is it worth it - yes it is. I’d stay again if I was in the area. Mark down on location as it’s near nothing but if you have a car then every thing in Orlando in any direction took around 15 - 25 minutes to reach. Outside Orlando as an example, Kennedy Space Center was 55 minutes drive away in normal traffic keeping to the speed limits.
