Caragiulo's Italian American

Caragiulo’s has been a family favorite for years. It felt nostalgic to bring my partner here for his first visit and our meal was exceptional - just as I remembered. Our cocktails were excellent; I ordered the Claudia and liked it so much we’re going to try to replicate it at home. How gorgeous is this avocado burrata toast???
I cannot recommend this spot enough.

Everything from The beet salad, Augie, blackened, shrimp Alfredo, calamari, and the bread is all so good. Charles is an excellent waiter.

We go here nearly every year for our anniversary unless we are out of town during that time. Service is excellent the salads are so fresh and the food is delicious. They may even through in a free dessert. Great wine choices too.

I definitely can't wait to come back! I'm looking forward to sitting in the formal dining area. We sat in the bar area. Which was completely fine and we felt like something very casual like pizza. The pizza was absolutely amazing! I can ever remember having! And the flavors, everything was so fresh! The wine was tasty. I did not look at the complete wine menu but whatever we ordered was delicious. I definitely can't wait to come back when we have more of an appetite and order dessert. I know that this is family owned by a few brothers and it supports several families and I think they're great, the only problem I have is with Owen's fish camp LOL you can't make a reservation in the place is always packed it just seems like it's a local it's just not worth going to which is totally disappointing. Veronica's is nice it's pretty decent it's definitely above average then one of the usual restaurants in the area so that's nice. I mean it's great place and seemingly great family I don't really know where they could improve on.

Amazing food. So, so delicious. Restaurant’s atmosphere was perfect and was versatile enough to suit any occasion- works for a fancy date night or a family dinner. Waiter was extremely attentive. Will definitely be back soon!

What a perfect experience. Walked in solo to sit at the bar and it was packed. One seat left. Great energetic service from Charles. I tried the scallop and shrimp risotto special, sans the shrimp. They were happy to accommodate. Lots of regulars made for a fun atmosphere and Charles made it interactive. The special was absolutely mouth watering. Will be frequenting this one.

Dinner was amazing. Our server who’s worked there for many years really catered to our 3 year old. It was a great experience!

Came here and had a delicious dinner outside! Menu was well crafted with some well loved authentic Italian dishes! We had the ravioli ala vodka and the angel hair arrabbiata and the meatball app and every single thing was absolutely incredible. Huge wild caught shrimp larger than some lobster tails I’ve seen! The place is completely packed inside on a wens night!! It’s clear that this is a gem I am so glad I stumbled upon! Will definitely be back!

Best Italian restaurant by far in Sarasota. Would give this restaurant 6 stars if possible. Great service, fantastic food, and for a great value. Had two entires, one appetizer, one kids meal, and three glasses of wine all for less than 100 dollars. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Our waitress went out of our way to accommodate our comfortability when we needed our table fixed from rocking. She was friendly and went above and beyond! She was on point with refilling our drinks. Service was excellent with the food and it was delicious 😋Ambiance was relaxing and old fashion feel characteristic of the 80’s. Highly recommend and telling family members to visit!

Top top! One the best restaurants for quality dishes and a classy interior vibe. Service was fantastic as usual. Their pasta dishes are great and many options with a variety of flavors.

We received a recommendation to come here from a friend, saying this was her favorite Italian restaurant in Sarasota. She was right. This place is definitely one of the best we’ve been to. The service was awesome. Menu was great. Definitely will come back.

I sat at the bar and had dinner with your bartender. Chuck or Charles! What a great person! Between the people next to me and the other side to me, he had us all laughing all night. It was a great experience. I’ll be back soon as well the other four!

Nothing to dislike about this gem! We came across it while leaving the marinara and it was a s ore for us! We sat in the bar area and our service was excellent. We opted to go with pizza, sangrias and salads and oh boy, the house salad dressing is the best I've had anywhere!!!! I will be trying to figure it out at home for sure, it's that good! The pizza crust is an amazi g brick oven crust that was perfect! Our server invited us back, said she makes the best chocolate martini around!! If you are looking for a new place to try, go here!!! Its was late and we happen to find this restaurant open. The gentleman came out from the bar area and seated us with a smile. We enjoyed the shrimp scampi linguine and the spaghetti with meatballs.
The ambiance was also nice. Great restaurant to visit again when in the area.

We met a friend for an early dinner here. It’s a stalwarts in SRQ. We always sit in the bar area. Food is consistent, delicious and very reasonably priced. Lots of regular
clients. The place is busy even in the summer. You can’t go wrong!

Food, service, and atmosphere were all top notch. There's a plethora of Italian dining options in downtown Sarasota and I feel like we got the best value for the price at Caragiulo's! Highly recommend.

Pancetta wrapping was left on a few bites of the Amatriana. It was very tasty. Pizza Davinci was excellent. Prices very reasonable for the location. We will definitely be back many more times.

This place is quality over quantity. The ingredients for everything we had were fresh and tasty. The chicken parmigiana was great— light on sauce, but they happily brought over more. I also tasted the grouper from a family member’s plate and it was outstanding. Good service and reasonable prices.

Delicious Italian food! We ordered a dish and asked the cream sauce to be replaced with a red sauce. They were very accommodating and it was excellent! Tasty salad too.
