Libby's

Best brunch spot in the area for bottomless mimosas and friends. Pretty busy, but spacious to where the indoor/outdoor vibe gives a lot of light and energy. The food is great and above average in quality. My pasta dish was well-made, though a bit bland for my taste.

This is a brunch spot that you'll want to come back to again, and definitely worth the visit!

We've eaten here a couple times and always had a great experience. Food is top notch as is the service. There are lots of excellent restaurants in Sarasota and Libby's is right up with the best. Pictured is the snapper which was "today's catch" and tasted as good as it looks. You won't be disappointed.

Let’s talk about it real quick… To start Jared is the man, call & ask for him ahead of time.. first time here won’t be the last.. From the food, environment, drinks, service *muah chef kisses* I can go on.. prices beyond fair. Highly recommend 10 outta 10 if . I enjoyed my shrimp scampi my picky eater loved his sliders & even tried something new (chipotle sauce) suggested by our wonderful waiter *which is rare *thanks once again looking forward to coming back. #VeryClean

Great place to hang out, both indoor, outdoor or even in the bar area. We tried their tuna tataki, Avocado egg rolls and rock shrimp & blue crab lollipops. So far tuna tataki is my favorite. We also tried different martini and cocktails. I like their grilled pineapple caipirinha and their Texas Paloma also good. Check out their happy hour menu and time! They have whole day HH in certain days but you need to sit in the bar area. This place can be so packed, esp after working hour. And parking can be challenging. They have street parking or small parking area at the back of the building.

We took my mother here for Mother's day.  As expected they were very busy,  however we had reservations. We were seated indoors very quickly.

We ordered Shrimp and Grits,  Swordfish, and poached eggs with Hollandaise. All our meals were delicious and cooked to perfection.

We also had the bottomless Mimosa which was delicious,  nice and cold. The staff was patient,  friendly and very attentive.

SO GOOD! Every meal we had was awesome and the salads are huge. Drinks were also delish!

Being vegan I appreciate variety of choices that were on menu . The double impossible burger was more than enough food and ALL vegan. Sauce, cheese even gluten free bun

The appetizers were amazing! I can’t even say enough good things about them. The Mac and cheese balls are insanely good. My teen daughter and I were amazed at how good they were and they had the best Mac and cheese flavor I’ve ever tasted. The avocado egg rolls were really good and so was the pea burrata which comes with a delicious light garlic bread toast. The caprese was good and fresh.

I got the impossible meat pasta which was good and my daughter got the chicken parm sandwich which she liked. We got truffle fries and they were awesome too!!!!

We got dessert to go (with most of our food because we were stuffed). The key lime pie and the chocolate cake are fabulous. I would highly recommend both of those AND the Mac and cheese balls more than anything.

The service was okay. When we walked in there were two people at the counter. There was a lady that was talking to the people that came in before us. She seated them shortly afterward. There was a male at the counter that did not acknowledge our presence at all and we were there for a few minutes until the lady came back and seated us. Our server was okay. He literally forgot about us more than once and even laughed and mentioned how he was eating pasta in the back and forgot about us. Our drinks were empty for over 30 mins and he took forever to come back to our table. He was friendly though and had a good personality. Toward the end when he brought boxes and got our check he was quick with it.

The only downside you experienced was the open patio doors causing the entire restaurant to feel very humid. However, this is a minor issue that should not detract from the overall quality of the dining experience at Libby's. If anything, it just adds to the charm of the restaurant, as it creates a lively and vibrant atmosphere.

First time trying this place. Really good service. Waiters are super friendly and open to help. We got the bleu cheese sliders and pulled pork sandwich. Haven’t ate such good sandwiches in a while. If in Sarasota, I highly recommend you try this place.

We picked Libby's because it was close to our hotel and concert venue. Boy, were we lucky!! We had one of the best meals in recent recollection and wish we lived closer. Our server Jason was incredible. We have never had better service. The cocktails were perfect. We like to try new foods from time to time and we chose the Harvest Brussels Sprouts. They were delicious. We were amazed at the tenderness and subtle seasoning. My husband chose the Salmon and Shrimp combo and was very pleased. The fish was cooked perfectly and the sauce with just a hint of tartness. I had the Chicken Milanese. The cutlets were crisp on the outside but juicy and tender inside. The arugula salad was perfect and I only wish I could have cleared the plate. In fact, that is my only negative. Two cutlets were too much for most diners and since we were visiting, did not have the opportunity to enjoy the leftovers. We wish we lived closer. Libby's would be a regular treat!

Every aspect of this place was amazing. The staff was helpful - water constantly filled and ready to help but not hovering.

Ok, the food… everything has its own special twist that made it special. The pulled pork was delicious but the crispy bacon and onion straws and the sweet kick made it unique.

The jalapeño mac and cheese was creamy and perfect consistency with just that little kick.

The cole slaw was sweet and crunchy and there was just something special about it that set it apart.

Truffle French fries? Oh my goodness. These were unbelievable. So freaking good. Crunchy yet full of the truffle oil and cheese. Wow! I’ve never had anything like them.

The ribs were juicy and literally fell off the bones. Everyone says their ribs fall off the bones — these really did. They were delicious. I saved them for last because I wanted that to be the last taste in my mouth.

But we left room for dessert, and the key lime martinis really did taste like key lime pie! And the cool thing was that somehow the taste went well with the rich, decadent chocolate cake.

It was a wonderful place for a date night.

Tiffany is the best server! So knowledgeable and kind! She made our experience amazing! The food was so great too. Stand outs were the mac and cheese bites and ahi tuna! Will definitely be recommending this place and coming back on our next trip to Sarasota!

Great choice! Every time we drive by it's busy so we thought we should try it. Got a table no problem. The menu is fantastic. Fun Cocktails and a big patio. We had the Brussel sprouts and tuna tataki both very good and took the meatballs to go, which were also amazing! Definitely hope to come back and try more.

I was able to sit at the bar on a pretty busy Friday night. Service was great, the atmosphere and nice, and the food hit the spot. I had the 8oz sirloin that was cooked the way I asked, and came with delicious mashed Yukon gold potatoes and seasonal veggie sides. The seasonal veggies were chopped zucchini, squash, onion, and eggplant. It was great. This was my first experience and I would be happy to eat here again.

I stopped by Libby’s for a quick bite while traveling as i have heard endlessly of their stellar reputation. I was thrilled to find this reputation justified. The kale Caesar salad with blackened shrimp was amazing and something I will absolutely be craving. Great atmosphere and I I enjoyed my server as well. I will be back!

We met some friends here for dinner and it was our first time. Location is great, ambiance was very nice, and the staff was friendly. We were seated for our reservation right away. Server was attentive and helpful when I asked about allergens in a particular dish. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I appreciated they had multiple clearly labeled vegan options (burger and vegan bolognese). Great experience!

One of the best places in Sarasota hands down. I got the kraby patty burger and wow. I was blown away. I could eat four or five of those. The salad was also phenomenal. I highly recommend this joint. I will be back.

We had a great experience here. Our server Kandis was absolutely amazing. Had my drink remade without my asking, as she overheard me saying it wasn't great. Above and beyond service and very upbeat and great at checking in. The food was delicious as well.

We went to Libby’s the other night and service was okay. We ordered 2 sirloin steaks and when they were served the meat was tepid. The server. Called over the manger who immediately took them back, offered us salads to fill the time and repeatedly stopped over to keep us in the loop. She. Also gave us a dessert
