Whole Foods Market

This is a great place to buy food. They even offer hot food freshly made. Many bars with choice from around the world. They sell fresh organic if one is into that. The location is downtown and has a nice big parking garage. I’ve lately started looking for Whole Foods just for my lunch. Give it try!

This Whole Foods is cheerful and for some reason the staff are a little more attentive than other locations. Love the vegan baked goods (carrot cake = OMG) and outside seating.

This place was huge & had so many options to choose from. Their hot bar, olive bar & salad bar were all well stocked! Many prepared meals to choose from. I just wish it was closer to me! We were visiting from out of town. Definitely, a great experience. Enjoyed all the different types of food & brands that they offered.

We don’t have a Whole Foods in our area so it’s always a treat when I go to Sarasota and can pay the store a visit. My favorite is the bakery with all their fresh baked goodies (try the rugelach cookies). I also enjoy the prepared foods section especially the soups (love the dal soup). There is adequate parking and I don’t wait too long on lines. Also, excellent customer service!

As a peripatetic person, I feel about Whole Foods the way many people feel about Starbuck's: it's comfort food. No matter where I am, I can walk into a Whole Foods and expect to find nutritious products and friendly staff. Their food bars, which have returned in many locations, are often my choice to spend lunch and sometimes even dinner in an unfamiliar city.

While in a way, Whole Foods is just another grocery store, in another way, its something completely different. Yes, you'll find peanut butter, but chances are unless you've already shopped at Whole Foods, you'll see a brand of peanut butter you've never seen before. Yes, you'll find cereal, but what brand of cereal? Now, this does not mean you won't find your familiar brand, but if I was playing the odds, I would say you wouldn't. Furthermore, even if everything in Whole Foods is in fact unfamiliar, one shouldn't make the assumption it will actually taste any different from your familiar brands. But then again, it might.

I honestly love Whole Foods and cannot wait till there is one closer to my home(which there is going to be soon!). I have not gone shopping for produce yet but I absolutely enjoy the hot bar! I always find myself at the cookie bar even tho I try not to haha.

Had to return an Amazon product, it was simple and quick. They lady at the counter was very sweet and polite

Amazing staff! Jasmine went out of her way to accommodate me with ice for my salmon. She anticipated my needs just by hearing my plans. Larry and Luigi were great as well. Not all Whole Foods are great. I’ve had several issues with stores in NC and VA. Kudos to this one as you all are great!

You can find organic foods prepared and ready to enjoy - fresh bakery delights and coffee - juices - veggies and plants. Local magazines and newspapers like West Coast Woman and aisles filled with healthy food choices.

This super, super market specializing in organic meat and produce, gourmet items and most of the items one would expect to find in most super markets. They will not usually have normally branded items that your neighborhood markets carry, but will have an alternative worthy of consideration.

This is my favorite Whole Foods. I found better variety and the staff are awesome

I absolutely love this Super Market, fresh products, vegan products, and organic snack options, I could get some products that I love, and are tasty too!

I have been lucky to be a vegan runner for the better part of 42 years. As a young TV reporter, I was interviewed and jokingly, said to the reporter interviewing me, I'd love to start a fast food, health food chain, and call it Tofu Tico.

Somewhere in that dream I wanted a large health food store chain to exist before there was Whole Foods. In a world where nothing is perfect, I'm glad to say that I live close to a Whole Foods and can pretty much expect the same inventory store to store. Yes, I will support a small local business when I can, but I was always grateful to Whole Foods for sponsoring my Florida book tour when they carried more cookbooks. If I want to get a quick fresh and relatively inexpensive salad or vegan dish, I know I can always pop in and get what I want. With obesity, and all the problems that it creates, it is imperative that salad bars like this be kept open and available.

Awesome-sized Whole Foods with great selection of hot and prepared foods. The picture here is a display of one my favorite products. They carry all the flavors - I have not seen that anywhere else I shop!

There are two Whole Foods locations in the Sarasota area. This one is right downtown and a bit smaller than the one way out on University Parkway. Has free parking on the multistory parking structure opposite. Always has excellent Amazon Prime deals on fruit, vegetables , fish and meat, plus don't forget to check out the modest but still very good selection of beer and wine tucked in the back right corner of the store. I thought the music selection from the 80's was pretty cool until after a few visits realized that it is the same playlist. Not sure I can handle any more Tears for Fears. Joking aside it's a great place to get fresh good quality food and the staff are awesome.
