Great small shop to get some treats and ice cream
Well lit plenty of parking and eas access. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Easy menu and very affordable.

While in DeLand, we had to stop for ice cream. You know how it can be. We found this place, and got their Italian Ice with soft serve in it, called a Gelati. They even let us pick 2 flavors of Italian ice, so we got mango and cherry. Both the Italian ice and soft serve were so full of flavor. The soft serve is thick like a custard and mixed well with the Italian ice. One of the best ice cream treats of 2023.

Service was helpful and patient. They have a couple outside tables which we used on that sunny afternoon. Parking is easy as there's a small lot and on street available. Wanna go back.

Ordered a small Hershey's ice cream cake for my mother in law on mother's day through DoorDash and asked that they include a happy mother's day sticker if they had one, and was pleasantly surprised that they wrote happy mother's day with icing on the cake itself!!! It looked beautiful and made my MIL very happy! 😊

I am really loving this place! I walk my mini Schnauzer across the street for a great ice cream cone a couple of evenings a week. They also give out free doggy ice cream if your fur baby wants one.

first time ordering and it was amazing!!! it's hard to find rockyroad milkshakes I like and this was amazing I usually babe to go to cold stone to have it taste the way I love and it was amazing. My husband got 3 scoop icecream that was also soooo tasty 😋.

I had to use my other Google account for another wonderful review we found this place on door dash. I wish they were on ubereats as well but that's okay. I'm usually not one to make a big review but this place is AMAZING we are in love . It's so hard to find a good icecream place . I had to use cold stone if I wanted a rocky road or Baskin Robin's. Tonight we ordered and we put in our usual notes for them and let them know we appreciate them and really enjoy them . Tonight we got a sweet note . It's not much but it shows that they care and pay attention to the customers we definitely will keep coming back . DONT EVER CHANGE ! WE LOVE MOM AND POP PLACES !

I absolutely love this place, I have been bringing my son here since he was a toddler. The woman that runs the shop is always so sweet to us, asks us how we are and talks to my boy about school or break. We love the whole experience. Relaxing spot. And the ice cream is always good! Lots of flavors to choose from and there are other things you can order- other than ice cream! I highly recommend this ice cream shop, to you and to my friends and family. Thank you Simply Sweet! Great ice cream and most of all they were so nice to deal with had a LG party of kids and they went out of there way to make sire all were happy

Love this sweet little spot in deland. The selection is outstanding! From ice cream, to malts, to breads and more, this place had everything you can think of to satisfy your sweet tooth. The shop owner is sweet too! Shes always perky and helpful. I enjoy seeing her smile every time we visit and I can tell she enjoys serving her community up some smiles. Will be visiting again.

We Googled "ice cream near me" last night and decided to give this place a try. We are SOOOOO glad we did! The owner, Donna, was super friendly. The young man that made our sundaes was very polite and friendly too (can't remember his name). This will absolutely be our new regular ice cream shop. It was delicious and reasonably priced. We also loved the I Love Lucy things that were displayed (we are HUGE Lucy fans too)!

We're visiting family here in Florida and Simply Sweet is THE place in DeLand to go for ice cream. The owner is very friendly and the shop has a wide variety of hard and soft ice creams, toppings, sauces and cookies with which to create unbelievable treats. We'll definitely visit again during our stay!

This place is amazing. The couple who runs it are very nice and more than happy to help you. Kid friendly as well.
They do have a reward system that's easy to use. Build your own dessert bar is kept stocked. They have additional homemade desserts as well! Try the dipped 🍌!!

Great ice cream! The shop is decorated very cute and the selection is great! Outdoor seating in a quiet area makes this a wonderful place for families to have a night out for ice cream.
