Jack's BBQ and Brewery

This brewery is a hidden gem. Great beer and the company couldn’t have been better. Kid friendly too. We will be back!

Great place. Simple food but done well above standard. Excellent beer! Try them all. Short stay in the area but had come back. Opie, our server, was the nicest guy. Stop by here for a good burger, shrimp, pork or beef. All good. Zoom in on the pic. Great experience. I forgot to take a picture of the food because it looked too good to pause!

Love the service and food. Got fried shrimp, mushroom n Swiss burger and chicken tenders, all had crunchy fries.
Not very family oriented, however, its worth coming for the food!

This is a great example of an old Florida beach bar. The staff is fun, the food has always been great, and now they have their own brewery! We'll be here whenever we're in town.

Really nice brewery with a lot of different and interesting beers.

Last December we bought several to go, canned on the spot. Today, on July 3rd we still have some of them and it's still in excelent condition.

First time at Jack's. We had micro brews and they were very good. BBQ was good and our bartender Woody was awesome... Very chill place....

A block from the beach stunning views spacious property with a little corner bar a tiki bar and a barn with a jukebox and pool tables. Public pool and an amazing absolutely breathtaking Brewery. The beer is stellar and the staff are amazing. The food is to die for in a must when you're in the ancient city. Eat where the locals eat that's what I say

10 good beers, not a fan of IPAs. Worth the stop!

Love Jack's BBQ... I just had their BBQ pork sandwich (previously had their hot wings -- which are epic)... and my friend had their Reuben sandwich...OMG both sandwiches are awesome and their two house-made bbq sauces are just so amazing it is hard to explain...so just get over here and try them yourself!!!

My husband and I stopped by briefly while passing through town. My dad and I visited the owner Brud here when I was in High School and I remember when it was just a hole in the wall bar with a pool being built. Over the past 2 decades they have grown and expanded to meet the community needs, the home brews have become local staples, and the feel has still remained the same. It’s a great spot to hang out and incredible to think about how far it has come.

My husband and I were looking for a place to eat. By our surprise, we found this hidden treasure - a new addition to Jack's BBQ from 4,5 months ago ( we knew it from Cynthia - our host) - Brewery place! We love it. It has nice choices. We love Hey Boo Boo - highly recommended IPA. Our host Cynthia was great welcoming us to the area and place, we shared our stories and love chatting.

Bartender was amazing, very courteous, pleasant, and friendly.

I was there late night just to grab a beer or two picking up a friend after work. This is the type of place where lots of the young locals go. Now to make it clear by “young” I’m talking just about EVERYONE considering my own age. But the atmosphere was fun and energetic. The bartender seemed to know everybody there. The friend I was with ordered margarita and the bartender made it from scratch! For the type of place (talking beach shack) that was impressive! Next time I’ll have to try some of Jack’s bbq and I’ll let you know how that is!!

Last Friday, our family accidentally found this place and what a great find. They had a pool for our 4 kids to swim in while we ordered them food and had a couple drinks of our own. The dj was playing, the weather was amazing, the food and service was great, the beers were cold. It was a great end to our beach day. We will definitely be back with the kids so we can all enjoy the summer break!

I like popping in here for lunch. Best to get there for early lunch or late lunch. Quite a few locals hang out at the open bar and start their evening early.
I have been here for lunch several times and have not had a bad meal yet.
The parking is definitely a problem though. Not enough spots so if you can get one close you are lucky.
They have an outdoor seating area. Some of the picnic tables are pretty sketch and need repair or replacement (easy fix). Being walking distance from the beach (probably 200 yards), the elements take their toll on everything in the area.
They have a game room (enclosed) with pool tables and a bar. They also have a pool which is for patron use and it's not readily visible to sidewalk traffic. The pool area looks very well kept. No food or drinks allowed in the pool area.
They are also opening up a Jack's Brewery right next door. It's not a bar, but they will have a small tasting section. Jack's will be brewing his own product soon!

Definitely a place to try out if you are at the beach. If you are parking on the actual beach, you might want to consider parking near the entrance and if you are hungry at lunch or dinner, take a little jaunt over to Jack's for a bite and a brew.

I'm a local and I'm a sales representative in this area. I went to Jacks to tell him about some of our products and he was so nice!!! While I was there I could see how clean and cute the place is! He treated me like a local without knowing that I am and was so respectful. I have friends coming in over the weekend and can't wait to take them to here. I also saw the food coming out and it looked and smelled delicious!!!

Bartenders Lou and Vinny are such great people. Owner Brud is very kind. Drinks were excellent and awesome service. This was one of our favorite places for a drink and some late night pool on our vacation. Next time we visit St. Augustine, we'll surely be back!

Fun atmosphere, food was great, & Cynthia is amazing! Wish I would’ve went swimming though, love the pool!
