This is a hidden gem in St Augustine most of the restaurants don't meet the standard they have if they do their downtown at a ridiculous price point! The hostess many years in the restaurant industry and is well versed in food and wine!

What a great dinner with my wife. We went for our anniversary dinner while vacationing and it did not disappoint.
The lobster bisque was delicious. Creamy and full of flavor.
We also got the escargot and it was so good. My wife was a little skeptical but she was a fan as well.
I got the sea bass and my wife got the lobster ravioli. Both were very pleased and the quinoa with the sea bass was a sneaky delicious side.

Such a wonderful evening! Our server was knowledgeable about the menu. I was having the Chilean seabass, so asked for a wine recommendation. The server brought a bottle of white wine and offered a taste, which I thought would be perfect paired with fish. The first course we had the lobster bisque, which was exquisite. Small pieces of lobster, silky texture, hint of sherry. Fabulous. Second course baked brie with toastini and strawberries. Third course was Chilean seabass. My dining partner had the filet mignon, medium rare. Both entrees were fantastic.

Service was exceptional. Food was exceptional. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the size of the place. It's very small and quaint. There are no view or anything to see. Also no bar or cocktails only wine .One thing that stands out for me and my husband is we always split things and most of the time places, no matter how expensive they are, usually just bring out one plate of food and if you ask sometimes they might bring an extra plate but this place actually served it split. He had a plate with the food on it and I had a plate with the food on it and it was very beautifully presented. There was no extra up charge.

La Cocina International catered our wedding and absolutely knocked it out of the park!! Do not look any further and book with La Cocina! From the cocktail hour appetizers to the duo-plated dinner, everyone was RAVING about how tasty the food was! We got married early December and I'm still getting comments from some of our guests about how much they loved the food. Norberto and his team are very kind and love what they do which is evident from both the tasting at his restaurant and wedding day. THANK YOU Norberto for providing us such wonderful, tasty food and being a memorable part of our day!

Katya was an excellent server. She offered perfect advice on choices based on her personal experiences. A great place to celebrate an anniversary!

Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Have dined here many times and never a bad meal. The chef pours his heart into the dishes and you can really tell!!

La Cocina catered our wedding and it was fantastic! Our guests could not stop talking about how amazing it was! The food tasted exactly like the food we had during our tasting. The Hors d'oeuvres were perfect, the bread was fresh and presented to each table fresh and still warm from the oven, the pear salad was refreshing and delicious, the steak was so tender and flavorful and the fish was perfect! Some of our guest don't eat fish, but they ate it all thanks to La Cocina! You guys did not disappoint!!!!

My fiance and I like to go here once every couple of years to celebrate our anniversary; we are looking forward to having our rehearsal dinner here in the coming months! The food is absolutely divine with good variety and sizeable portions. One of the few restaurants getting dessert at is worth it, too! Highly recommend the chocolate cake.

This place was fabulous. Our server Katya was great, very attentive and gave good suggestions. Spinach salad was so good., filet was perfect. Portions were larger than expected. Glad we found this place while driving thru florida.

We are locals here on Anastasia Island/St. Augustine and LOVE this restaurant! We enjoyed a spectacular New Year’s Eve special 4-course presentation that was absolute perfection. Gina was our Server and she was wonderful, as always! The food, the service and ambiance are just perfect for a special meal out for any occasion. Don’t miss this place!

Absolutely amazing food!! Very friendly atmosphere and customer service. Fast and delicious. They have a breakfast deal for people the stay in one of the rooms, $8.50 includes tax and non achoholic beverages. The price is pretty much the same very cheap for extraordinary food and service! The deal pretty much is a free drink so I would grab it at the front desk prior to going in.

This restaurant was a surprise for me. I didn't know it was part of a hotel. The whole place was pretty classy to my simple tastes. Upscale from what I usually gravitate to. The ambiance of the restaurant is what I would call simple elegance. I like the open kitchen concept where one can see the expert chefs at work. The wait staff was courteous and professional. The food and wine were very good. We started with the excellent lobster bisque. I had shrimp and soba noodles. They were generous with the shrimp. My wife had the chicken pira which I sampled and liked too. Our friends both had lamb chops which looked good and they declared excellent. We finished with creme brulee. Highly recommend.

My husband and I just had our anniversary dinner here. It was spectacular. The food, atmosphere and service were all absolutely amazing. Surpassed every expectation we both had. Our waiter timed our food perfectly and even brought us out a dessert to celebrate our anniversary. This was the best dinner out that we’ve both had in forever! We will definitely be returning again and again! This restaurant is a must!

We came here for our anniversary on a Saturday night, after leaving another highly rated restaurant that was over capacity. We were blown away by the detailed dishes and flavor combinations. We ordered all 4 courses and wouldn't have changed a thing. We only wish we had room for more. Everything was more than we expected and service was 5 star! Muy bueno! We will be back again!

This was one a fine dining experiences! A friend & I drove 25 miles to for dinner and were not disappointed. The escargot were prepared so well, perhaps with mushrooms? That both taste & texture complimented the appetizer perfectly.

The lamb, divine. It was tender, cooked to order and so fresh! Nothing gamey about it. The vegetable pairing that night was another perfect complement to the entree.

We also enjoyed the shrimp dish. Words fail. Please just order and enjoy.

The service was also impeccable, attentive - no hovering. Plates were cleared in a timely manner.

Had the entress been hot, the night would have been perfect. Perhaps serving warm is part of the magic?

If you like your meal oven fresh it may be best to ask about that. (I sent nothing back.)

Treat yourself. Also book ahead!

It was our first time here, and we were blown away. The presentation was absolutely beautiful, the food was delicious, and our waitress was so sweet. Definitely worth dining here.

Seriously the best Octopus I've ever had. Beautiful delicate short Rib ravioli. Always a great experience with absolutely the most delicious plates.

First time in this restaurant & it is all worth it & some, the atmosphere is a delight, service was superb…the food is delicious from presentation to flavor & authentic dishes….

Very nice place, staff was friendly, I like that you can see the kitchen upon entering and exiting the restaurant, gives you a chance to thank the cooks for a wonderful meal. I had the blackened salmon Asian bowl for lunch and the salmon was cooked perfectly. It was a nice sized portion of salmon. Restaurant was quiet for lunch, and seems a missed opportunity for travellers and locals. Hotel guests must know about this gem. Prices were fair for what we got as well.
