A1A Beachside Diner

The food, the price, and the service was excellent!! Our server J (or Jay) was great. The biscuit was the best I’ve had in a long time. Light and fluffy and crisp on top. So good! Avocado mash was delicious and great pricing for that much. Great value for what you get! Would return!

Great breakfast here! Had the “Power Bowl” of oatmeal, granola, fresh blueberries & strawberries, candied pecans and milk. Very reasonably priced for the amount of good fresh food!
Awesome service from Holly-she did not push us out after we ate our meal and enjoyed the 50’s vibe. Indoor and outdoor seating—just remember that they close at 3pm!

Don't walk, run here for breakfast. Best breakfast I've had in a long time. Home fries are awesome. The French toast is fantastic. Biscuits (homemade😋) and gravy are delicious. My husband had the chicken fried chicken and it was delicious 😋

Love this place! Their grits were so fluffy and delicious. Sunrise tacos were delicious. Classic breakfast had fluffy eggs and yummy potatoes. I wish their bacon was crispier and their vanilla latte was sweeter/tasted more like vanilla. But overall, it was delicious! Definitely a staple in our household.

Great breakfast diner, they have homemade biscuits which tasted amazing. I recommend the sausage, gravy and biscuits. Bacon is applewood smoked bacon. This is a clean and adorable diner..

Second visit to this cool lil spot walking distance to the beach.I enjoyed the Fish and Grits and my daughter had the Old Timers Breakfast. She said the biscuits and gravy were amazing. Loved the atmosphere and the food!

Nice atmosphere with an eclectic, 50s type deco. The hashbrown casserole is excellent and the breakfast was enormous. They serve mimosas and bloody Mary’s too. Super nice. The beach is nearby, about 5 minutes driving time. Pancakes were fluffy, not “thick”. Really liked it.

This restaurant is INCREDIBLE! The menu looked amazing and it was a hard decision for me. I decided to get the Fresh Fruit Waffle and it was delicious. Then we went to the diner the next two days after that! I got the waffles both times again. I can never get old if this incredible restaurant.

Beachside Diner is definitely one of my favorite spots in St. Augustine Beach. It’s no surprise they have very high ratings. Everything about this diner is incredible.

We dined in at around 8 AM on a Thursday and they weren’t too busy. Our waitress was extremely friendly and served us quickly. Their menu is pretty big with lots of breakfast options.

The Chicken Fried Chicken is likely one of the best breakfast platters I’ve ever eaten. The chicken was insanely crispy, the gravy was insanely flavorful, the home fries were crispy, everything about my meal was incredible.

Overall, if you’re in St. Augustine Beach looking for breakfast, Beachside Diner is the place to go!

Fairly busy at 1200 on a Sunday. (I noticed that it was a lot less busy, starting at 12:30).

We had the Smokehouse (2 eggs, 2 sausage patties, a biscuit and hashbrowns) and Corned beef (2 eggs, corned beef, grits and toast) for brunch. We also enjoyed a Pina colada, tequila sunrise and a poinsettia.
The drinks were very good and came out quickly, considering how busy it was. The food was tasty and did not take long at all.

The atmosphere was very 50's with an eclectic music selection (music from the 60's, 70's and 80's) but it was nice.

The staff was very friendly and helpful- we were put on the waiting list (told 35 minutes) then the bartender told us a hightop table was available- total wait time was 10 minutes.

We really enjoyed our visit here. The service was fast, and our food was delicious. There is ample seating, but the tables aren't too close together.
A 50's style dîner with a beach twist, the A1A Beachside Diner is clean, well lit, and large windows give a feel of openness even inside. There is outdoor seating as well.
If you should have to wait, play a game of Cornhole across the driveway.
I recommend.

What I like the most about this place is the consistency. I visited for breakfast and lunch, during the peak season and off-season, and it is always very good! Sometimes the place gets crowded and it is hard to find a parking spot nearby but that is a sign of popularity. All dishes I tried were delicious, so I can't even pick one to recommend 😊

Enjoyed the experience and trying out a new place in a friendly retro environment. My food arrived already cooled but it was taken back to be reheated and ideal for my taste.

The food is outstanding. Meatloaf was so good, one of the best BLTs ever. Sitting outside with a welcoming area for dogs. Dogs are greeted with water and a treat. This is just a great restaurant. Don't miss out if you're in the area.

Overall one of the best places i’ve eaten at for breakfast food in St. Augustine. The atmosphere is very nice and the restaurant is very clean. The staff was super friendly and very welcoming. I ordered the Beachside Burger and it was the best burger that i’ve had ever. The bun was very soft and the burger was nice and juicy and had a lot of flavor but not too much… it was just right and the fries and macaroni and cheese were very good too. My girlfriend ordered the 2+2+2+2 and she said the dish was very good it came with 2 eggs 2 bacon 2 sausage and 2 pancakes. she said the eggs were very good and the pancakes were very soft and fluffy but a little cold. The overall experience was very good though i would definitely recommend eating here, parking is pretty limited though so if you want breakfast get here right at 7am or a little bit after

I love the atmosphere. The food was good , the service could have been better but I understand it was busy. I loved the diner vibe. The menu was huge as well.

The outdoor dining here is delightful. On vacation this past week twice we enjoyed breakfast on their front covered porch. The servers were friendly and quick to refill coffee. The homemade biscuits were light and fluffy served with delicious omelets and fresh fruit.

Waitress was very friendly and we enjoyed the homemade chips more than the fries

Everyone needs to go to this diner! The staff is over the moon friendly, the theme was fun and family friendly. Service was fast and the prices were outstanding. We love that you get a lot of amazing food at a reasonable price which is a rare find these days! We appreciate that. We are sure to come back for all meals! Side note: the cheesy hash brown casserole was to die for and the breakfast potatoes!
