Salt Life Food Shack

Our meal was excellent!! I loved the bowl I ordered and my guy loved the huge chicken sandwich. The crunch will we had for an appetizer was delicious as well. Our server was excellent as well. Great atmosphere, love the upper deck outside, and there was good live music downstairs. Enjoyed our last dinner out on our trip here.

We got a table outside by one of the patio heaters. It was chilly, but that heater made it better. We ordered the Captain's Platter blackened instead of fried - DELICIOUS! Also ordered the Shrimp Brochette- Fantastic! Our server, Megan, was efficient and courteous. I highly recommend this place.

We had a great experience at Salt Life Food Shack. Alex, our waitress, was kind and attentive. She gave great suggestions on what to order.

All four of our dinner party ordered some type of Grouper. We had blackened grouper tacos, a sandwich, and a breaded grouper basket.

The table favorite was definitely the breaded grouper basket.

Great spot for American food and seafood. Definitely something for everyone on the menu.

I had a wonderful experience with Ana as our waitress. She was incredibly kind and attentive throughout my meal. She made sure to check on me regularly and was always ready to assist with any requests or questions I had. Ana's friendly demeanor and excellent service truly enhanced my dining experience. I would highly recommend her as a waitress to anyone visiting the restaurant.

We had a fantastic meal, my wife had Shrimp and Scallop pasta and I had the Shrimp Brochette meal. Both were fantastic the shrimp and scallops were loaded over a tomato based pasta sauce. The shrimp brochette had teriyaki sauce not overwhelming but just right. It was loaded with shrimp and pineapple over an excellent fried rice mix of veggies.

They were certainly busy on a Saturday night during college football season! We were able to get a seat at the bar, which has a full menu service. The bar itself was very large and spacious - we didn't feel cramped eating. The staff was friendly and the service was quick considering the size of the crowd. The poke bowl was on point, as were the shrimp and chorizo tacos. We'll definitely be back!

Really Good restaurant close to the beach, you can eat outside when it is warm, so really good thing! I took the salmon and it was really good. The food is a little expensive butworth it. We had a really good time with friends. The waiters are nice. Thank you

Sat on the roof deck and enjoyed a fantastic dinner. The atmosphere was spot on, the beer was cold and the grouper was amazing. Great first time experience.

Kiara was awesome! The mahi wasn’t the best I have had but pretty moist and good over all. Fries perfectly crispy. Tacos were so/so. Overall great experience and would come back

Had driven by here several times and we finally stopped and were definitely glad we did. My boyfriend got the maple soy glazed salmon and I had the fried grouper basket. Everything was so good and the atmosphere was really unique! Highly recommend.

Very nice hosts and servers. Ordered tuna tacos. I'm not sure what we were expected to do with all the dry chips. They did not come with salsa, and they charge a lot for dip.

We sat on the rooftop and watched the sunset listening to live music from downstairs. 10/10 for atmosphere. Server was excellent, very accommodating for my garlic allergy.
The grouper and fries was our favorite.
My only complaint is they don't have a rain plan. If it starts raining you are added to a waiting list for seating inside. No one could tell me what we would do with our food. Carry it around with us? Eat in the hallway?

I had the maple glazed salmon and my wife had the bacon wrapped shrimp and pineapple skewers. Both dinner were very, very delicious! We highly recommend trying these dishes! Looking forward to going back and trying other dishes. Complimentary valet was very helpful and convenient.

Excellent service. Food is really good. Nice atmosphere. Really like the wave shaped fish tank at the front door. It is very expensive, but that is expected in a vacation area.

We arrived at the restaurant and were lucky enough to be served by Kenna, she was incredible giving us dish tips and organized the sequence of dishes ordered in a very professional, exemplary and efficient way! As many times as we come to St Augustine we will come to this Restaurant, the more ask for the server Kenna! Keep Kenna as an employee for many years, she was responsible for our loving the restaurant! if it had a score from 0 to 10 we would give it 100.

They just reopened after a remodel. We sat on the upper deck with ocean views and could still hear the live music from the lower deck. We had excellent food and service. I had the most perfect salmon salad ever❤ and tried the interesting yummy avocado fries. Prices were quite reasonable.

Sitting on the patio upstairs, overlooking the ocean with a frozen drink from the bar, we enjoyed the amazing food (tacos and shrimp bowl). Our server was awesome- personable, knowledgeable, giving great recommendations, and on top of our needs. We would absolutely come back again if we visit nearby one of their locations.
Only complaint is that the store area was a little disorganized and not stocked well. The ladies at the front desk seemed a little overwhelmed so we didn’t ask for extra help….we would definitely have left with more Salt Life merch otherwise!

The live music was what drew us to eat there, plus the outside seating, which is amazing. Our server was very kind, knowledgeable and fast. We ordered a starter as recommended by the waiter and a entrée each, plus a bottle of wine for the table. Each dish was fantastic in its own. Great flavors, nice presentation and large portions. A great place to go to with family or friends.

Leany was a wonderful waitress, delicious food and awesome atmosphere. We came here for an appreciation dinner so yay thanks guys appreciate you!
