World Famous Oasis Restaurant

With plenty of parking the oasis sits just a few feet away from the Atlantic Ocean and beach access.
There is an outdoor, Indoor Bar top and table seating and the upstairs has the same. Windows open or closed, there is an excellent view . Food is fresh and always good. Fresh market catch seafood. Kids love the fried shrimp. Best conch fritters in Florida.

Really fabulous blackened red fish sandwich (and I don’t really like fish), boiled shrimp and oysters. The fish dip was good but not as amazing as the rest and my mango, coconut, banana rum drink was delicious. Really friendly and fast. Fun place. I highly recommend and appreciate the reviewers who convinced me to go.

Oasis is great! Right near the beach with plenty of parking for the restaurant. The staff are really friendly - no complaints as far as service goes! The fried grouper sandwich was so good & I highly recommend trying their tater tots! Be sure to stop in for some great eats & drinks!

We went the first time on the Sunday of Memorial weekend. The place was packed and as soon as we walked in the door they told us that the kitchen was over an hour for food. Having that knowledge in advance we still made the decision to stay and asked to sit at the counter. We had a few drinks and our appetizer came out pretty quickly.

They ended up closing the kitchen early because they were so busy and having a hard time with ticket times. While that isn’t ideal, they handled the situation so well. They notified guests as soon as the walked in about the extended times, they made the decision to stop taking additional orders earlier than normal, and they kept working hard to turn out the best food possible even if it took awhile! It was very well managed that night, the staff were all friendly and helping each other out. In a lot of other places it could have turned into a huge mess but they handled the volume perfectly!

We are gluten sensitive and did fine with the fish dip served with tortilla chips and veggies, the loaded tots, and a loaded baked potato. They also had Nutrl seltzers available. They had blackened fish and a few other options that likely would have worked as well!

I was recommended to go here because I really wanted a baked potato... I didn't know what I was in for, they said "if you've eaten once today that potato is going to be too much". I'm always up for a challenge. I decided to order a fully loaded twice baked potato with my sandwich... Needless to say I took that whole sandwich and a quarter of the potato home and didn't have to cook the whole next day. Sometimes I have dreams where I'm eating a world famous oasis twice baked potato where the inside is layered with a bed of cheese, comfortably nesting perfectly cooked real bacon bits, not that precooked trash, and then blanketed with fresh chives that looked as though God himself had grown and cut them. As I type this my mouth is salivating. The first time I ordered it I thought maybe it was a fluke but to my surprise it was yet again huge and delicious. Since that day if there's ever a time when I want to get the potato that dreams are truly made of and feed two people, I make the journey... A pilgrimage if you will to the world famous oasis, where those dreams come true. And they have a great fish sandwich.

Hubby and I decided to check out this local eatery while we were in town for a singing convention. It was pouring rain in the middle of October on a Thursday afternoon. The parking lot was almost full... always a good sign, right? We didn't check out the whole place, but it's much bigger than my photos show. I ordered their special of the day Red Fish blackened - taco's with cheese grits. Hubby had their build a burger. The portions were generous.

They blackened my red fish perfectly. The fish was tender, juicy, and delicious. I finished my plate. The grits were creamy and had a bold, smokey taste. Yum!

Hubby said that was one of the best burgers he's ever had. 😋

Amazing breakfast menu. The breakfast skillet was delicious and the huge biscuit was to die for. Our server Cajun was friendly and helpful. Thank you Cajun for the pepper sauce recommendation, it was so delicious that I bought a jar to take back to Ohio with me. Just 2 ladies from Ohio enjoying breakfast.

Shrimp and Grits ($16.99) - Tasty but too much of the red sauce on top. Also they leave the tails on the shrimp so you pretty much have to pick the shrimp out of the grits with your fingers to remove the tail.

Absolutely love this place!!! Food is delicious and cooked just how I like it! Definitely on our list of places to eat when visiting St Augustine. Plenty of sitting downstairs and upstairs.

Great food and awesome service 😀 the food was absolutely delicious and we couldn't be more happy with the food. They had a band playing, and the amphotsphere was point on. We will definitely return when we are in the area again 😀 this place had it going on.. 👍 😀 🙌

If you enjoy perfectly cooked fish, look no further! Very reasonably priced excellent service, Chance was on top of it and even offered some to go cups for our ride to Daytona. Super chill vibe, definitely will be coming back here.

Great food, great location. Had not been here in 15 years. Glad to know they are still serving awesome food with awesome service. Had the Conch fritters and the Redfish Sandwich.

We had another great meal at The Oasis! This is always on our list when we are in town and never disappoints.
We arrived around 1130am (Tuesday before Thanksgiving) and easily found a table upstairs for our party of 7. Our server, Allison, was terrific! She made sure we had everything we needed, and even took a family picture for us.
The four adults in our group all got Whalers, which is a large fish sandwich (fried or blackened) with peppers, onions, and cheese. It comes with one side, from which there are many good ones to choose (I got tater tots).
There are lots of tvs around with different games and events to watch.
Overall, great casual atmosphere, great food, and great service, all for a fair price.

World famous Oasis is a great place to eat and have a good time with friends.
My friends were here from Ohio, and after spending several hours at the beach, we stopped in for dinner. Everything was absolutely fantastic.
Two of us ordered the shrimp Oasis wrap. It was by far the best wrap I've ever had. Three other two had the fried shrimp platter. We've been to a lot of seafood restaurants and this was by far the best.
Our server was amazing. She was so helpful and never left us with empty drinks.
Being from the area we've experienced the World Famous Oasis before but our friends were very impressed.

We've visited this restaurant/bar a couple years in a row now while vacationing nearby. It's a fun place with good local seafood and drinks. Upstairs in the bar area we had great servers. The bar was very busy and on one of the 3 times we went drinks took especially long to arrive. The other 2 visits were better. It seems quite a few locals may go here. They were friendly and twice a group started singing to the jukebox songs along with other patrons. We appreciated being able to watch a basketball game too. Will return again next vacation

My sister and I had the most delicious lunch here today. Alison was our server and she was Amazing! My sister had never been and it's been 4 years for me. Definitely will go again! We had the pulled pork nachos, I had the whaler fish sandwich and she had a shrimp salad croissant. Definitely recommend

The portion was bigger than I expected..the loaded bake potato was crazy good..the two pieces of fried fish was very thick and big pieces, onion rings were just perfectly fried. The shrimp and scallops were seasoned well and they were juicy..everything was just great thanks to Bailey our server..she was very busy but still had the time to make sure our drinks were filled and we had all we needed..great experience here at the oasis.

Food was great, especially the fish dip. Chips seem to be a little tough. I got NY strip very good. My husband had grilled fish sandwich, he said was really good.

Had the fish sandwich today and it was Wahoo and it was so good, had to write a review! Mine was grilled perfectly and my hubby had his fried also really good. Usually we come here for Sunday breakfast and I get the eggs Benedict. Very friendly here, nice service and good food and drinks. You can sit at the bar and eat also if you want.
