Good food. We ate here twice. One for dinner and once for the free breakfast. For dinner, the filet was great but we did ask for it to be cooked a little longer because it was mid rare versus mid well. The side dish of potato’s was just okay so you may want to ask to substitute for one of the other sides. The salads were great. Good wine selection. The break buffet was not very good so I suggest skipping that except for bacon and head straight to the grill for an omelette or fried eggs. They also have great oatmeal, breads, fruit, yogurt and cereals. They have many juices and sift drinks. They have a coffee bar but it’s industrial requiring cream and sugar. Some guests were avoid the coffee bar that came free with breakfast and paying for latte’s at the Starbucks next to the restaurant. Service was great and all the people are nice. The location right on property was convenient. I especially liked them not automatically adding a tip to everything allowing me to decide on the amount.

If this place had a separate dining room....
It would be great. If the bar is rowdy it's gonna be loud. Some people don't mind. Just saying.
Food, value, menu- all very good. There are nosilly/precious menu offerings- Thank You.
The crazy-busy kitchen is sending food out and keeping it good as well. A nice meal with wine is possible for 50 a cover. This is super value in a normal town, unbelievable in sight of the Atlantic.

Just drove in from Charleston for a Whiskey Myers concert. Starved.
Sat at the bar. Live music. Paul, the bartender, was great.
May be one of the best steaks I have had. Filet.

The food was great! Best calamari ever! We weren't expecting much because of the reviews but we enjoyed everything and the service was excellent! Our server remembered us from our first visit. We made a reservation and recommend it.

This restaurant is located in The Embassy Suites Hotel and Resort, St. Augustine Beach, FL. The food was amazing, one of the best steaks (1 pound steak) I have ever had in my life! Excellent service! I will be coming back!

Simply delicious!!!

While I don’t always think hotel restaurants are delicious OR the bars put out top notch cocktails…. That’s absolutely not the case here!!!

The restaurant puts out delicious / consistent food! The bartenders also do the same with cocktails!

We ordered to go this evening. The filet and potatoes were 10/10. The mushroom risotto was also 10/10. The brussel sprouts were also delicious!

Special Event dinner, with pairing of St. Augustine Distillery products. Wonderful food and cocktails with informative discourse about the spirits.

My husband and I had dinner reservations at a restaurant in downtown St. Augustine. It was pouring rain and after driving around for an hour trying to find parking in flooded streets we decided to just go back to the hotel and eat at this restaurant. We came in and we’re pretty frustrated, but our server Hunter gave us an incredible experience and we are so glad we ate there.

My husband had the she crab soup and we got the artisanal bread basket which was quite yummy! He ordered the wahoo fish catch of the day sandwich and said that it was delicious. I had the filet and creamed spinach and both were yummy.

Prices were very comparable to restaurants in St. Augustine - and we were sat in the back where it was quiet and we were not upset about that.

Hunter- thank you for making our night and the great service! :)

Our family had a famous experience last night for Easter dinner! The lamb was sublime! O e of the best meals I've had in a long time. We also had the boubon maple salmon, and the filet mignon. All very good! The lamb was sooo good wish I could get on the regular menu. If not, we will be back next Easter! 😁👍
Upscale yet comfortable at the same time!

Good job chefs and staff!

The customer service is impecable, the guys know how to earn their tips. The happy hour is awesome, with live music and all you can eat snacks. The other night there was a guy playing Beatles music, obladi oblada, and suddenly a bunch of toddlers and kids were dancing, others jumping. It was fun. If you are planning in having dinner, go for the porkshops.

Went for dinner here just 3 weeks after they opened. The host and server welcomed us and showed us to our table. The decor was what I’d describe as modern beach - well suited for the area. Menu had a variety of offerings, but focused on seafood. I had the Bibb wedge salad to start, and the mussels as my main, as I wasn’t too hungry that night. Though the salad was a bit heavy on the dressing, it was very tasty. Favourite part was of course the bacon Lardon. The mussels were different from the typical red or white wine sauce you see. There was pieces of ham that were too delicious and I was forced to finish the broth like it was soup.

Our server was incredibly sweet and attentive. We chit chatted about her start here in St Augustine.

Overall a great experience and a nice addition to the culinary scene of St Augustine, which lacks a more refined style of cuisine. Harvest and Reel offers something different, local and delicious. Will definitely be returning!

First we’d like to send unmeasurable accolades to one of the most affable and knowledgeable waitresses we have had in a long time ( and we are from NYC) Our server KAYLA helped us through the menu and we loved everything we devoured. Salmon and filet mignon - cooked to perfection
We were surprised the Embassy Suites hotel here in St. Augustine had such a great restaurant... ps sit outside the restaurant is waaay too chilly

We are locals who have been wanting to try this spot but were a little trepadatious because of the mixed reviews. We went on a Saturday night around eight and were promptly greeted and sat.
We started with the bread and butter, and although I agree that it's silly to pay for bread service I really just liked the bread and olive oil mixture. We aren't the kind of people to take pictures of our food but if you look it up you'll see what I mean. I was disappointed that the bread was obviously not made in house but this is a hotel restaurant.
I then had the bibb wedge salad which was delicious with a very generous portion of crisp lardons and a beautifully creamy blue cheese dressing. A wedge salad doesn't sound like a lot but it was actually so substantial that I was quite full after just that. My husband had a Cesar that was topped with a mound of Parmesan shavings and freshly baked croutons.
I moved on to the scallops which were perfectly cooked and served with a corn maux choux. It was positively delicious and kept me going back for another bite long after I was thoroughly stuffed. My husband had the strip steak which was also perfectly cooked, beautifully tender and served with the creamed spinach with goat cheese. The most exciting thing on his plate for me was the round of roasted bone marrow dotted with a few sprigs of thyme that made for a awesomely slurpable bite.
We finished with the salted caramel cheesecake which was the only thing that I would say was just so so but I am not a cheesecake person. The husband who had a cheesecake craving said it hit the spot.
I felt compelled to write this review as I feel this place has not been given a fair shake by a lot of it's reviewers, especially locals. All in all we had a delicious meal with very good service. I will caveat that with the fact that the restaurant was very sparsely populated. If they have a busy night it might be that they have a challenge with service. I would put this place on par with a J.Alexander's, fresh well done American in a beautiful setting that for me, justified the price point. Would recommend, and will likely return next time I want a nice night at the beach.
