I took my iPhone 4 to have the cracked screen replaced as referred by a colleague. My phone was fully charged when I gave my phone to the agent, when I received it following screen replacement, battery showed 30% life. Called the store back and agent told me he must have put a new battery in by error. Battery ended up being fine thus far. Upon leaving the location the navigation was severely inaccurate and realized Wi-Fi detection and operation was inoperable. Returned to the store couple days later to report the damage and have it repaired. The agent (same guy) claimed that he could not fix it (blank stare). With additional urging the agent takes to the back several minutes and emerges to tell me the wifi is now working as indicated on screen. However the wifi would quickly switch to 3G once you select email or something requiring network access. Urged him again to dismantle and insure the internal components were reconnected properly. He recedes again for approx 30 mins to emerge with the same story about how “some phones have a weak wifi signal.” Took my phone and left without further argument. I will dismantle the phone myself and figure out the error as I should have repaired the screen myself in the first place. These guys seem pleasant but do not stand behind their work and assume no responsibility for any damage they cause. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE GUYS FOR ANY REPAIRS OR PURCHASES. They are the cheapest in Metro Atlanta for a reason. They charge $65 for replacement; Screen Kit on the web sells for $40-60, go that route.
