St Augustine Sand Castle Vacation Resort Property

A super place for a large family vacation. Our family of 16 stayed here quite comfortably for a full week and had a great time. I wasn't sure there was a place large enough for all of us at a reasonable price but this one delivered, although it wasn't entirely without shortcomings.

There's a bit of inconsistency throughout the house given that some bedrooms/bathrooms appear to be redone or more up-to-date than others. The bathroom I primarily used could definitely use a bit of renovation. The bed I slept in also needed to be replaced as it sagged heavily in the middle even with the foam topper, and wasn't altogether the most comfortable night of sleep.

The kitchen was surprisingly functional and worked well enough to cook and serve for 16 all at once. There was a decent amount of equipment although again some was in need of replacement -- particularly the -- of which there didn't appear to be one that could cut through more than a tomato.

All these small complaints aside, I would reiterate that the place was great and we will likely return. Shuffle your feet over a little asphalt and a bit of hot sand and you're at the beach.

Missing some simple amenities. Great location. Within very short distance from other accommodations.
