Sparrow's Grille

Great food & service. Quiet atmosphere. Perfect place to have a quick bite in the afternoon. Or right after work for a quick drink. Stay for the smiles.

I was anxious to try DeLand Social (new restaurant down the street) however, it was closed because of a family emergency when we arrived.

Sparrow's Grille was a nice surprise to the last minute plan changes. There is plenty of parking. The entrance is handicap accessible along with the interior of the restaurant. We were seated right away and our drink order was taken.

The menu is two-sided. Perhaps I missed it but I did not see where one side was for lunch only and the other side for dinner only. I tried to order from the entree section and was told that I could only order from the other side of the menu. Both sides of the menu have plenty of options to choose from including vegetarian items.

The food came out quickly, looked beautiful, and tasted great. I wasn't quite ready for the experience to be over yet so we decided to order dessert. We ordered the key lime pie which was beautifully presented. It came out on a homemade whipped cream type base that was phenomenal. Just dipping the strawberries in there would have been a perfect dessert. The key lime pie itself was very well done.

The restaurant itself is clean, organized, and has a very nice vibe with large windows that overlook the golf course. I would definitely go back.

We were hankering for something new so… we tried Deland Social but they were opening at 3 today.😒.
So we happed upon Sparrow’s Grille…. WOW!!! They did not disappoint.
The signage could be better as we were not sure we were in the right place. Parking is mostly shaded and reminded me of a State Park.
Was not busy but had a nice atmosphere. We sat by the window which does let some heat in if you are sensitive to that.
I ordered the hamburger and my wife ordered the Cuban. D lish us.
The Cuban was not just cold cuts made into a sandwich. Pickles thick sliced. You tasted everything. Very god.
The hamburger was cooked as I requested, medium well, and server on a toasted bun with lettuce, Tomato, and sweet onion. Very good as well.
With the scenery and great food, definitely recommend.

Excellent service with a smile. The wings were amazing and so was the clam chowder. Our waitress Debi was very friendly and took great care of us. Will definitely be back.

Always a good time here. Today I tried the Shrimp and Grits. Delicious, Flavorful and Awesome. The staff was great, helpful and attentive. The ambiance and environment was palpable with everyone enjoying their time there.

A pleasant dinner, was seated upon arrival. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was delicious, and above average quality. Prices are also above average but the quality makes it worth the cost. Full bar for drinks, everything except for blended drinks. Wish they had a glutenfree menu, but staff were helpful to inquire what was available.

We love this place and the staff. The new menu is wonderful. Pasta night is so great! The chefs come out and makes the food and is patient and kind with us as we make our selection. We love brunch as well. Sitting outside is great and it's covered so you're safe when it's raining as well. The staff is friendly and accommodating and so helpful even with the fact that we bring 2 crazy kids with us.

Stopped in after a round of golf and had a great lunch and drink. Our server Sierra was great!!! She served us quickly and came by several times to make sure all was ok. Recommend Sparrow's and ask for Sierra if you want great service.

This past weekend we held my daughters Bridal shower at Sparrows in the Azalea Room. From the beginning, with all the planning involved, we were presented with such wonderful ideas by their events coordinator Sadia. The event was seamless, the room was beautiful, the food was delicious. We had the brunch served, complimented with an amazing charcuterie display and of course the Mimosas! Our waitress Connie was so helpful and accommodating. Everyone was impressed and loved it from beginning to end. Thank you all so much for making my daughter Amanda’s Bridal Shower such a memorable occasion.

Just one visit so far, burger night. Service is friendly, fast & efficient. Burger was very tasty and fries were great. Might be twice fried. Overall a good experience. Look forward to our next visit.

Burgers are great and service as well. They did a great job redesigning the club house and restaurant. Has a fresh new look and layout. Saturday nights are $6 burgers and a dollar per each topping and well worth the price. Cooked right and seasoned very well. Also, $1 Bud light and Mich ultra from 5pm-7pm which goes great for washing down your burger. Will be returning again and looking forward to trying their wing night and Friday specials they have.

We've had one good experience after another after we joined the golf club in August. The servers are attentive and are starting to get to know my wife and myself. The food is always very good and a good value.

It's a smaller clubhouse. The staff is great. It's very clean, and it's right at the links.

I've been there during a wedding, and it was a good time. It ran like clockwork, and everyone working focused on making sure the guests were taken care of. For those who are curious, they welcome LGBT+ weddings.

My friends and I had lunch as part of a golf and lunch package. The only things available for the package was a hot dog or a club wrap with chips and a fountain drink. We all had the club wrap and it was excellent. Service was great as well.

We hosted our daughter's dinner with over 60 people for the evening prior to her wedding. Sadia Taglieri was wonderful from the very first phone call all the way to being at the event to make sure everything went smoothly!! She is AMAZING to work with and we highly recommend her for any event planning/booking!! The food was great and reasonably priced. The room was decorated beautifully and our event was a huge success!! Thank you to Sadia and Sparrow's Grille. We will definitely book future events for our huge family at Sparrow's Grille, Victoria Hills Golf Club!!

We have been there for brunch, burgers and wings. All have been really good. We have had great service, no issues. The staff have always been nice and efficient with service. The wings are amazing because they offer options on how to prepare them.

I ate here for the first time yesterday. I ordered the fish of the day, mahi with a mango sauce. Excellent and fresh. Saw several other dishes I want to try, so we'll be back. Very reasonable pricing.

The filet is unbeatable. I always tell myself I will try something else, and the new menu almost made me do it. I went with the filet and it was perfect as usual. Best Caesar in town, as well.
