Aloft Sarasota

Recently visited the Aloft Sarasota and it is a very cool hotel! The lobby was very nice & the front desk staff is amazing! Shout out to Jill for always being so nice to the guests. We liked the ambience of the lobby. Would definitely return to the Aloft in Sarasota Florida.

First time in Sarasota, great clean, modern hotel close to restaurants in the area. Very pet friendly! The staff were friendly and helpful. It was great meeting tenants in the building at the bar. Overall great experience for a quick getaway trip. Tip: We opted to skip the valet and parked down at the church down the street.

We only stayed here one night but made the most of it! Clean, trendy atmosphere. Staff were all super energetic and helpful. We loved the rooftop pool and hot tub. Gym was clean and well-equipped. Bike usage was nice. Area is populated with shops, restaurants, nightlife, and cafes.

The location of Aloft is great — super close to the restaurants, shops and marina. It seemed everywhere we wanted to go in downtown was about a 5-10 minute walk, which was so convenient! The hotel itself is definitely more basic, which was fine for our needs. I would stay here again.

Amazing Hotel in downtown sarasota! The rooms are clean, spacious, and modern. The pool is nice! Theres so many restaurants and shops all within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel is super accommodating for dogs as well.

Clean rooms with a modern design. The aesthetic and room layout was unique. Several amenities including a billiards table in the lobby.

Excellent location, clean comfortable rooms. Alexis at the front desk was super sweet, professional, kind, valet parking guys are awesome. Nice cute hotel for a getaway weekend with my husband, pet friendly. Great rooftop pool with a bar, I don’t know the name of the manager on duty but he was awesome, all staff are friendly and attentive. Price was great, definitely we are coming back. Thank you Alexis for your kindness and excellent customer service.

This place is so beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed it a lot. I loved this wonderful city. I'll come back more often!!!!!

We had such a great stay. The location was perfect and the staff was amazing, especially Jill!

Loved the location as it was close to shops and restaurants as well as the Marina. Rooms were small but accommodating and clean. Nice pool and pool deck. Had bar open during most of our stay but typically only Friday-Sunday. Lobby bar was really nice and mixologists were very good. Only negative is that they only have 3 ice machines and two weren't working our entire stay. We will be back in October.

Had a fantastic stay here on my first trip to Florida. Stayed for 4 days. Exceptional customer service. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great rooftop pool, gym, courtyard patio, and more. Walkable to everything. Can't imagine a better location. Highly recommended!

Beautiful property in Sarasota. The moment you walk in you’ll fall in love with this property. The lobby is modern and has a great vibe. Love the music, the colors, the bar area, you name it! Rooms are clean, modern and spacious with great amenities such as complimentary in room bottled water (2 per day), free in room coffee, also free unlimited shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. The pool and spa was amazing as well. The location of the property is outstanding. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The only thing lacking in the room is having hooks to hang the towels. There’s only one hook, which it was a bit frustrating. Overall experience was tops and the staff was super friendly, courteous and professional. Will definitely love to stay here again!

Great quiet neighborhood close to downtown. They only have valet or street parking. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly.

Excellent location to Main Street/Downtown shopping! We walked everywhere - did not need a vehicle. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Several restaurants have outdoor seating. While we were here there was nice sunny weather with a breeze. Couldn't ask for more! The hotel is clean modern chic. A very large bar that has a lighted countertop (so beautiful!!) is in the lobby. Full bar! You can order drinks right away. 😁 There's complementary ice cold water with immersed slices of fruit in a dispenser available for free. I took advantage of this! Especially after all the walking. I've read other reviews regarding the staff and I want to say that the staff is VERY FRIENDLY and helpful! All the staff I met smiled, inquired about my stay, and asked if I needed anything. Even a maintenance worker! They have Happy Hour on the patio with lots of seating, and fires in the center of the tables. Very nice aviance! They were painting this area and it will be a beautiful gray, cream color.
Elevators operate ONLY with your room key card so you must keep it handy. Great for security. The carpet is a bit Funky with stripes of bright colors, but hotels get away with that! 😂 A pool is on the 8th floor along with a gym for working out. Again, have your room key card ready!
One more thing, in the lobby you will find an area with food and drinks to purchase. This is also the breakfast area. Be sure to ask for a complementary breakfast! You never know!
We'll make it two things! 🤣 The valet parking was excellent! Fast and very friendly!! Thanks, guys!!

Had the best time! Bartender Jacob downstairs was amazing, informative,and helpful! He even drew us a map to the trolley. Rooftop bar and pool was refreshing and enjoyable! We will be back!

Had such a great experience at this hotel. The staff is hospitable and friendly, the room was comfortable and clean, and the location is beautiful. Check in was a breeze and the front desk staff professional and cordial. The hotel feels very safe, you have to use a room key to use the elevator and it will only let you off at your room floor and the floor with the pool. The room was very comfortable and has a great unique layout compared to standard hotel rooms. The beds and pillows are amazingly cozy. Perfect combination of supportive without being too firm. The room was a bit frosty so I called the front desk for extra blankets and they delivered them within 10 minutes. One of the things that impressed me was the shower toiletries. The are refillable and in the shower so no little bottle waste clogging up the environment. Plus they are great products, my hair was left clean and soft. Another great plus about this hotel is the location. It's in walking distances to a lot of great shops, restaurants and the waterfront. I highly recommend O & A Coffee shop. There is bar that opens at night in the lobby and they had enjoyable live music. In addition, there is snack area with a lot of options you can purchase at any time. It's a very short walk and has amazing coffee. Also, since I am a Marriott Bonvoy member I was able to get a late 4 PM check-out which was so convenient. I also want to mention how helpful and friendly the valets were, there is a $20 charge for this service but it's completely worth it.

Exquisite hotel! Perfect, peaceful night stay. Superb, friendly service. Really cool, unique hotel in the heart of downtown Sarasota. The location is perfect for all downtown events and activities. Numerous dining and shopping options within an easy walk from the hotel. The beach is only a few blocks away! The hotel facilities are immaculate and well maintained. A boutique style hotel with a fun, unique, sleek, modern decor and design. My guestroom was much larger than the average hotel guestroom. The bath and vanity area was huge! Absolutely, my favorite guestroom design and floor plan to date ( I've visited many, many hotels!) My guestroom had two comfortable, queen beds; large, flat screen TV, mini refrigerator, safe, work desk and chair, two large windows and lots options for lighting. The vanity area was large, lots of room to spread out your toiletries. A separate room with toilet and large, glass shower. Totally impressed with this unique, clean, friendly hotel. The hotel staff associates were very friendly and efficient. Although I didn't experience all of the hotel's amenities, there are many found here. My colleagues reported the pool was wonderful. There is a "grab & go" convenience area with beverages and a few food items. Although I don't play pool, there is very nice pool table adjacent to the lobby, as well as a business center. I am a Marriott Bonvoy member, and I was unfamiliar with the Aloft Hotel Brand. However, now that I have discovered it, I will be on the lookout for future stays! This hotel receives my highest recommendation!! Enjoy!!

Pretty swell. Those keycards are tricky on the elevator though! Also the Gym is fabulous. But it's called Recharge so I thought it was a spa or something and just happened upon it while checking out the pool on a 45deg cold snap. But here are a bunch of swanky pics. Certainly recommended. Also the two concierge ladies at the front desk are awesome.

Excellent stay at Aloft this past weekend! We loved the outdoor area with fire pits, rooftop pool, and extremely nice staff. The room was clean - the layout of the room was so interesting and we really appreciated the large countertop next to the sink. Loved the dry bar products too! We had a double queen room as the king rooms were all booked by the time we finalized the trip, but it was nice to have all the extra space. The location was fantastic - with so many Sarasota hotels by the airport, it was great to find an affordable room right in the heart of downtown so that we could explore the bay and the downtown area by simply walking. I saw a review about their pet policy and experiencing bites - as someone who is VERY susceptible and allergic to bed begs/flea bites, I did not experience anything like this. I didn’t get to stop by the bar in the lobby but I hope to someday (and play pool! We just ran out of time!) Also didn’t have a car with us so didn’t use the Valet, but the guys there were so friendly and always wished us well when we walked by. Thank you for such a great time! Next time I’m in Sarasota, we’ll be staying there again.

Our 3 night and 4 day stay was perfect. Staff extremely helpful. Highly recommend. It being Christmas weekend we truly enjoyed the hot tub. Maybe a little more money then a few hotels but worth it. We hope to be back next year.
