Hampton Inn St. Augustine Beach

I stayed here last Oct during Halloween. I loved the location, and the size of the balcony was great. The front desk reps were nice and pleasant during check-in and welcomed us each time we came back in. The breakfast did have a lot to offer, however, the food sat in a water pan which did not keep the food very hot. Our room was nice and clean, the AC did leak on the balcony all the time and was very noisy at night. It also blew directly into the head of the bed next to it, which gave me a head cold after 3 days. We stayed for 3 nights and only wanted Housekeeping 1 time, she made the beds and gave new towels. She did not vacuum, or clean the bathroom sinks or tub areas. We went to the pool 1 day, there wasn't many people there and the pool itself may need an update and good cleaning. There are a few nice restaurants in the area that had good food too. If I'm back in the area I would try them again.

Nice place, clean rooms we had a room with an ocean view. Nice size balcony too. The location is great and right across the street from some great restaurants. Will be back for sure.

Immaculate hotel right next to the beach. Rooms were huge and had a refrigerator, sink, and microwave, and cabinets for plates, utensils, etc. (not provided, although you can get some at breakfast if needed). Breakfast was great: eggs and breakfast meat, oatmeal, waffles, cereal, baked goods, fruit, and yogurt. Free coffee and tea in the lobby. The staff were friendly and professional. Rooms were quiet. Only 2 miles from downtown St. Augustine. I didn't swim in the pool but it looked great, with lots of places to sit and some shade. I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful hotel, great staff! Out room was big clean and had amazing views. The breakfast was extremely good. I highly recommend staying here!

Had a wonderful time during our stay. Staff was very friendly. Manager Travis helped us with our bags, very sweet gentleman. He told us about the delicious places to eat. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was good. Highly recommend please see Travis!

Very nice motel. It was clean. Staff was nice. Free breakfast was good. It was in a great location, right on the beach. No complaints with the stay. We would recommend and gladly stay again.

As much as we loved the hot tub and the free breakfast, it was the large jetted tub that we enjoyed the most on our stay. All this, along with a friendly and helpful hotel staff made this one of the best hotels we've stayed at in a while!

The receptionist was very helpful and answered all our questions. And we got to check in a little earlier than expected.
The hotel room was clean, nice and spacious.
Self serve Breakfast offered a wide variety of food. The waffles was my favorite.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is just perfect for a walk to the beach, to the Kookaburra coffee shop, the Beach diner, and Sunset Grill. Just a few places to walk to from the hotel.

Loved staying here! The beach is so nice and easy access. The pool and hot tub are very nice. I really enjoyed the hot breakfast and the staff were all very nice and helpful.

I had to transfer here last minute and had the ***BEST*** experience.

My daughter is allergic to mold (it can trigger asthma for her). The manager let me check out the room we stayed in before paying and it was good- if you are mold sensitive this is a good hotel.

The room was fantastic, the location I was perfection (walking distance to Anastasia park) and the entire staff wonderful to work with. Shout out especially to Travis for his help!

Great location if you are looking for beach time, very good restaurants and entertainment are within walking distance. Drive into historical district only about 15 minutes.

Great hotel and location. Easy walk to the beach. This area is very quiet. The room was comfortable. The beds were great. This is a pet friendly hotel. Breakfast was good. Definitely recommend and will return.

This is our second time staying here. Breakfast is not bad, there is basically everything that is usual and it saves time and money, the coffee is fresh, strong and all day long, we like that the doors in the hotel can be opened with apps on the phone, only last time it didn’t work, but the frondeck lady gave us plastic keys, beach in front of the hotel, comfortable balconies, small refrigerator in the room. The location is very convenient, Uber to get into down town costs about $6-8.. very convenient and not expensive. Dog allowed and carpet in the room.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly with our late check in. The rooms were super clean and the young lady in charge of breakfast kept the food full and was very friendly. Great price and location.

The staff were amazing here, each of them took every opportunity to make our stay great. The pool and hot tub here always clean and ready for fun after you had your fill of the beach that you access from a private path. This hotel was a big part of what made my vacation perfect.

This is a great place to stay on St Aug Beach. Great clean updated rooms, friendly helpful staff. The free breakfast was much better then I expected. Pool hot tub and a walk right to the beach. I will definitely stay here again.

Highly recommended! Balconies with ocean views and beachfront access are worth every penny. Delicious warm breakfast. Pleasant open and airy hallways and staircases. Can't wait to return!

I'm used to staying at Hampton Inn properties, so I know what to and what not to expect. You won't get a bar (while they do sell beer, snacks, and wine in the reception, and have ample space to spread out to enjoy said beverage) nor a restaurant.

What you do get here is a clean, large room with space to spread out (we booked a pool view family suite with two queens, a sofa, and two tv's). You also get a nice pool area with a jacuzzi, shade cover, sitting furniture, and outdoor showers to clean off the sand from the beach. We enjoyed the pool every day of our three day stay, it was cleaned regularly, which was needed because there is always *that* person who thinks the pool is a good place to clean your feet and your slippers... people will be people, and their behavior is not on the hotel.

The breakfast is standard Hampton Inn, rotating between the usual items. So, no, you won't get pancakes or turkey links or your favorite bacon each and every morning. But it's enough to start your day on a good note, and 24/7 coffee supply isn't a bad thing either...

Usually, it's the people on staff who make the difference, and that goes for this place as well. Amazing staff, super friendly, especially the breakfast hostess, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was good and that guests were happy. Five stars!

The property is right next to the beach. The private access to the beach is "closed" due to the stair being broken from hurricane damage. But for most of us who deem ourselves semi-agile, you can still access the beach with a little bit of climbing a few feet, just next to the broken stair. There are beach rentals right there, $50/day for two chairs and an umbrella. For those that want a more comfortable walk to the beach, the pier is just a few blocks north of the hotel.

Right across the road, there are some popular eateries, and we also found a few hidden gems a few blocks to the south of the hotel. If you want to support a small family-run business, you have plenty of opportunities to do that while in St Augustine Beach. (And don't miss the Alligator Farm while you're here)
