I have worked with Dan on more than one occasion. He helped myself and my wife purchase a home in 2014 in an in-demand area with a very fast past market. I recommended him to my parents to sell their home in the summer of 2023. In both instances, Dan worked tirelessly and at all hours to make sure the deals went through and the process went smoothly. He worked in an advisory capacity for 1-2 years in advance of the sale of my parents house to get it ready for sale (with no compensation). The market for this sale was very fast paced, with a period of first showings to acceptance of offers being a few short days. That period was over a weekend and Dan worked very hard to work with many agents who wanted to show the house. He was working at hours I did not expect him to, communicating with these other agents. His marketing is superior to others out there. While it is hard to back with fact, I truly believe that his work ethic and marketing resulted in a much higher amount than their excepted contract price. He also showed a lot of patience in guiding my parents through the process, as they had not been involved in a home sale for 52 years. And they required extra effort on his part as they did not have the ability to sign documents digitally. I would highly recommend Dan to anyone who is wanting to list a house or purchase a house!

Dan was really helpful throughout the whole process of selling our house. From getting our house ready to sell to getting us the best contract. Walking us through each step and keeping us informed about everything he was doing. I just worked with Dan Brassil to list my house at the beginning of the year. I had market concerns and we had a lot of money tied up in renovations. Dan was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and assuring. He helped with every aspect through closing from creating a beautiful presentation of the property to helping us through the inspection period and coordinating with the title company. My husband and I recently moved states, starting new jobs at the same time we were looking for a home. We were anxious to find a home as we were living with a friend while our dogs were back in the state we were moving from. We were commuting home every weekend to be with our dogs and had to work during business hours Monday through Friday. So, we had a very unique/difficult situation to deal with while looking for homes. We also had a very specific vision for what type of home we wanted, but were totally open when it came to neighborhoods. Even though we didn't have a ton of availability and were looking for very specific qualities in a home in a non-specified area of town, Dan was able to help us find a home we really love. He knew what to look for and what to point out to us in each home so that we could be mindful buyers. It was clear to us that he's very experienced, trustworthy, and genuine. We got a house we love WAY under budget thanks to Dan. He has a ton of knowledge about potential problems and concerns with houses. A lot of the viewings we went to with him felt almost like inspections; he would routinely check the shape of the roof, drainage on the lot, foundation etc. to give a fast idea of the condition of a house. He's very familiar with the construction technology used in the St Louis area. We also felt like he was on our side through the entire process instead of trying to get a sale done quickly. His title should be realtor/home inspector because when he goes into a house the first thing he does is make basic functionality checks. He also makes observations that we as infatuated buyers simply would not notice, passing these observations to us in a straightforward manner so that we could make as informed an initial decision as possible. We always felt that Dan really cared about us as home buyers/sellers. Dan gives sound advice, which we relied on a few times. In our opinion there’s not many realtors out there like Dan.

Dan demystified the house buying process for us and truly made the experience a positive one in the middle of this crazy housing market. My husband and I moved from out of state and had never been to St. Louis before I accepted a job here. We received his contact information from a co-worker, and I am eternally grateful. He’s truly the best if you’re house hunting in the St. Louis area. He’s extremely knowledgeable about the neighborhoods, the structural elements of houses, and is completely transparent if he finds any red flags. As first time home buyers in a city we’ve never been to, Dan made us feel like a priority. He answered our many questions and made the transition so smooth for us. He did virtual showings for us that made it feel like we were walking right along side him in the home.
