AMC CLASSIC Durham 15

a very large theater that was wonderful to experience. The space was clean and the concessions were good but expensive as expected. The sound was amazing with a great screen. The chairs were comfortable and could decline as well. would definitely go again!

No complaints.. none at all. Everyone (as in the staff members) behaved civilized, concession stand functioned as expected and the movie (Spiral) kept us (my daughter and I) entertained! The theater itself was well maintained- clean, amenities were in working conditions, not overly crowded, and I experienced no disturbances while watching a movie. Sounds to me this location deserves a rating of 5/5! 😊

The movie was great, seats iffy BUT the thing that leaves us a 5 star review is we went in for a 10:20 movie and my boyfriend had accidentally left my keys and wallet (ss card, credit/debit cards, $100 in cash). We went straight back as soon as we noticed and got there around 1:30 AM. We saw mop buckets and 1 car so we were hopeful someone was in there. Well we saw a guy and started knocking on the window and he came straight to us asking if everything was okay. We explained the situation and he immediately got us out of the rain and gave us my keys and wallet after i told him what it looked like. He told us he works until 2AM and works 2 jobs, he was the nicest and most genuine guy to be able to help us out as we live at the beach and it’s the only key to my house in durham plus my dog was locked in the house. HUGE APPRECIATION for the night shift guy at AMC Durham 15. We literally could have done nothing without him. I unfortunately didn’t get his name, but he deserves all the appreciation and raises AMC can give. We hope you see this and thank you so so much.

Good old-fashioned theater that managed to squeak through the pandemic. No fancy tables no reserved seating. You have to go inside and go to the concessions counter to buy tickets. A great place for kids and family.

Great theater if you don’t mind not having all of the modern things like IMAX or 3D. This is the perfect theater for catching a drama if you want to avoid the lines from the other big theaters.

Great to be back at the movies after the pandemic! Weeds are still growing up through cracks in the parking lot, but otherwise, things seemed back to normal. The price might have been lower than before.

Not the best in the area. Movie played fine. Staff is friendly and popcorn was good.

The only AMC in the triangle that’s doing it right. Friendly staff, persistent with starting the movie on time (thank you), great picture quality, and great sound quality. Keeping a first come first serve theater is great too. Keep this theater going strong. I recommend.

Love the classic feel and layout of this older AMC. A nice switch up from the more modern ones that are being offered! Hope they keep it like it is just add the updated screens and drink machines as time goes on.

David and Ty were two very exceptional customer service representatives. They answered all of my questions and made me feel like I was at home. My account was found with my email and I used to work at this location not too long ago. They both need a raise for their hard work and effort they both put in for their customer satisfaction. I work for the bank now and we could use some talented young men on our team 1 year from now. Or in 1 month depending on how many reliable workers we have left at Wells Fargo. I thank both of them very much for their southern hospitality. On a scale of 1 to 10 they get a 20 for top notch service. By the way Rob I'll see your tomorrow for my W2 form

I really enjoy this multiplex. It doesn't get a lot of traffic so the theaters are generally empty when I visit, even at night. I like this because I can sit wherever I want. And I don't have to deal with loud talkers, constant whisperers, crying babies, and the glare of people's cell phones that they can't seem to put down for the length of the movie. The theaters are always clean, as are the bathrooms, which is very important to me.

The refreshments are ridiculously expensive like every other movie theater, but at least here the popcorn is hot and fresh. They have do-it-yourself drink machines which is nice as getting a refill doesn't require getting in line. Not that the lines are generally long anyway.

Also, they always have the latest and best movies. I'll definitely be joining the AMC A-list!

My group enjoyed the Private Theatre Rental deal, which is fantastic. In fact, the manager, Rob, customized it for us. I cannot say enough about his customer service and cordiality. He was so professional and genuine and helpful. It's what customer care ought to be; unfortunately, it is becoming rare. Thank you, Rob!

Theater was clean, food was fairly priced for a movie theater, staff were friendly, movie had good display/sound.

I seriously LOVE this place. It's just perfect and simplified. Been going for years. It's not like many of the newer theaters with plush seating and dinner options but they do have great refreshments, movie selections, and reasonable pricing with weekly specials. Management is great and service is good.

Smaller theater, kept clean and had disinfecting wipes avaliable. The seats were the classic seats that do not recline all the way. Staff was friendly.

This is our favorite theater. It's tucked away and never crowded. We're always well-serviced and they have all the modern options 'we' need - like consistently good popcorn and a Coke Freestyle machine. No matter how big the release, there is never a wait and always tickets available for every showing. We've walked in to a mostly empty building for major releases like Rogue One.

This theater is a 'classic theater'. The popcorn is good, the pizza was actually quite yummy and the drink cups were MASSIVE. It's a great place to go see a movie with family and friends when you just want to see a movie. Many theatres are going for that 'night out experience' by providing extra bells and whistles (at an extra price, mind you) but AMC Durham 15 provides a wonderful time for all!

First time at this theatre and was impressed. They are so reasonable with the prices. You save money by having everyone go to the concession stand and order show tickets and food. I don't mind doing that because the show prices were cheap. The theatre is clean and popcorn was fresh. The movies are current so this place is a little gem.

This Place is amazing. Me and my family have fun here all the time. Everything is nice and clean. The workers are nice and have become friends. But once there was a movie, which in the projector broke. The maneger gave us 3 free tickets to any movie!

I absolutely love the movie theater + it is a privilege to go to one as luxurious as Carmike Cinemas. The staff is VERY friendly + informs me with criticism regarding a movie; the bathrooms are very clean. The theaters (individually) are my most favorite of all places to get away from all of the stress that life in genera; gives me. My only complaint is that I can't stay there watching movies forever...
