I had the pleasure of staying at this stunning and secluded yurt for a weekend getaway, and I must say that it was simply amazing. Tucked away in a private location, this yurt offered a great escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The yurt was spacious and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The outdoor space was equally as impressive, with a fire pit and outdoor seating.
The host was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We truly appreciated their attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Overall, I would highly recommend this yurt to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. It was truly a magical experience that we will never forget.

Seriously such a gorgeous, peaceful place to stay. The hosts gave me better instructions than I have received for an outdoor stay before. I honestly didn’t feel the need to contact them for anything, but I have no doubt they would have been helpful if I needed them to be.
If you are looking for a place to unwind, unplug, and sit with nature…this is it!

Stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. It’s very secluded but only 15 mins from town and just 10 mins away from the Blue Ridge Parkway. The yurt had all the amenities needed. The outhouse was clean and nice and just a short walk from the yurt. The porch was so nice and overlooked a little valley. You truly feel among the trees. I was lucky enough to be able to use the rain shower. Very cold but very refreshing after a long day hiking. The hosts were attentive and communicative and I felt comfortable reaching out if I needed anything. The bed was super comfy and the sheets were soft and smelled great. The propane grill was perfect for cooking. I highly recommend staying here! A great intro for someone who wants to try camping but doesn’t want to give up all the comforts of a hotel. Just off the grid enough to feel like you’re roughing it without actually roughing it. My dog and I LOVED our stay here and will hopefully return!!

This was the best experience! We had a blast and loved “roughing it”. It was clean and very well kept. Our host Evan was more than accommodating and was very easy to communicate with. We will definitely be coming back for another stay! I would highly recommend staying here!

Wow. This was such an amazing experience. I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect staying here, but it was better than I could’ve ever imagined. This was the most peaceful getaway that helped us to disconnect from daily stressors and reconnect with nature. There was no better feeling than waking up to the birds chirping rather than an alarm (not to mention in THE MOST COMFORTABLE BED) and looking out to see the AMAZING view off the balcony while we grilled our own breakfast. The hosts truly thought of every little detail to make this place amazing and we enjoyed every second of it. We were so sad to leave this little oasis but we will most definitely be back!

Took the kids on a wonderful family trip in December. We hiked to a waterfall from the Fairy Inn-yurt then took the kids to a gem mine up the road. Great weekend for all!

Absolutely loved my stay! The fun of camping with the comfort of a bed and ease of not having to set up the campsite! Super remote but easy to access. The dogs loved it!

This place is dreamscape! I visited April’s Treetop Dome during my love & I’s honeymoon. It’s secluded, spacious, and peaceful. It’s also well equipped with whatever we need to shower, cook, etc. I love that the owner, Evan, has been hospitable and quick to communicate.

My husband surprised me with a birthday trip to Gnome’s Yome & it was the most perfect experience I couldn’t have planned it any better! Secluded in the mountains, surrounded by trees with the comfort of a cozy bed. The private hike to a waterfall was perfect for our dogs, they enjoyed the stay just as much as we did!

Everything you need to enjoy glamping in Western North Carolina! We stayed at Wild Fairies do Yoga and it was perfect for families. Secluded down a short path with 2 beds, covered outdoor kitchen, and rainwater shower. Stocked with pots & pans, dishes, soap, and even ice and firewood for the firepit. The bathroom was clean and provided handsantizer. The beds were cozy and we had a fan, propane heater, and solar generator for my husband CPAP machine and charging electronics. Make sure to hike down to Hoot Owl Falls!

Beautiful location. Quiet, clean and elegant. This is glamping at its finest with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Several hikes of varying levels between 5 and 25 minutes away; all with fantastic views. Not to mention Evan is very communicative and helpful.
I can not wait to go back!

What an unbelievable stay at Outercamp! This place is truly amazing - our yurt was so beautiful inside and out, the beds were comfortable, everything was immaculately clean, and we had everything we needed! The property is huge and there’s so much to explore - we hiked to Hoot Owl Falls and checked out the new pool at the bottom of the waterfall - can’t wait to come back and take a dip here in the spring! The Outercamp team is constantly adding new trails, points of interest, and features to the property. We are so grateful to Outercamp for such a unique experience that we will never forget and can’t wait to re-live! Will be back soon without a doubt!

Get Outside!! This place was an incredible treat for my wife and me. To put it simply, we both felt like we were in our own world, away from everything. - Very romantic atmosphere (or a fun atmosphere if you're by yourself or with friends) - Warm tent heater (open a window at night in the winter to keep enough 02 for the stove sensor) - THE BED! OMG this was the most comfortable bed my wife and I have EVER slept on. Seriously incredible and a treat every night. Even the nights where we let it get cold in the tent (32 degrees), we were warm top to bottom in the bed. - The outdoor kitchen and deck are so thoughtfully done, cute, and well-built. - Fun hikes. - "Off grid" while at the same time just 10 minutes from town. - Dog friendly! - Spacious inside with everything you need. Recommendations: - Bring extra lanterns/lights (more than just a headlamp) - Camp chairs are nice to have

This place is absolutely stunning 😍 It was the perfect stop for us while doing the Blue Ridge Parkway. The host was super responsive, left us clear instructions on how to get there and what to do. It's the best glamping experience I've had! The place was spotless, well stocked, peaceful and beautiful. Very close to a lot of hikes! Beds were comfortable, yurt was spacious, fire pit was amazing and bathroom was clean too despite being in the wilderness. You can get a real feel of camping but in comfort and not far away from civilization.

We stayed at the Gnome’s Yome location and it was absolutely magnificent! The site was perfectly spaced with just enough privacy but still within range of other guests. The Gnome’s Yome is also the closest to the outhouse so that was a huge bonus. We had some strong winds and that yurt held its ground!

We couldn’t stay for long but it was an amazing experience. It was a very accommodating stay even though it’s off-grid. We also had cell reception which was great since we were so far from home. The views are breathtaking, especially during the early morning hours. Our dog loved the area and begged us to stay outside the entire time. It was a perfectly small space with just the right equipment to make the experience even better.

As if that wasn’t enough, both hosts were both very friendly and happy to answer our questions in a respectful and timely manner. They made us feel welcome and comfortable!

We highly recommend this stay for anyone interested in a getaway to reconnect with themselves and the physical world! (:

Great spot to stay! So peaceful with lots of land to explore on the property, with a sweet waterfall. Explore nature, and disconnect. My partner and I spent a beautiful weekend, making art and recharging.

The gnome yome was perfect for our long weekend getaway. Neat and cozy, bed was comfortable and the property was beautiful! Magical views and not far from lots of trails and blue ridge parkway! Highly recommend this one.
