This was one of the better Red Lobster restaurants I have been to. We didn't have to wait for a table. The staff was attentive and pleasant. It was clean, most are. See updated reviews below ... Coconut shrimp were crispy outside and tender flesh. Order came with 12 , but you can add 6 more for $4.99 if you have friends that like to eat off your plate ... The baked trout filet was also delicious and perfectly cooked. Needless to say, the biscuits were never-ending.
4/9/22 Update - service was not as good as we're used to tonight. The food was still exceptional. Hubby had the build your own 3 combo, with scampi & scallops & fish. He enjoyed it. I had the coconut shrimp+6 again. You really can't go wrong with that! Took home 9 of my shrimp and his scampi. The next night, I added a salad to our leftovers, and we were happy AGAIN! 😋
11/29/23 Don't know where my previous review went, but ... Upon our arrival tonight, we encountered an irate customer nose to nose with the female manager because they had no baked potatoes or biscuits. I get the biscuits problem because we all know that we go there for their scrumptious biscuits!! Anyway, we got biscuits delivered half way thru our meal (new kitchen help). We ordered the Wednesday 7oz Sirloin & Lobster tail for $25 special. The lobster was OK, but the steaks .... wow. Hubby ate his perfectly cooked (medium rare) one, but mine came back and forth FOUR (4) TIMES!! Twice it was very well done, third time it was barely warm and still mooing, but finally the manager cooked it HERSELF and it was perfect. I hated the thought of them throwing away 3 steaks, but they were grossly overcooked. Our server, Stacie B, was shaken. They did the right thing in the end. We'll listen to the call from the biscuits again, I'm sure. Their food is so good.
1/11/24 Tonight was an off night for our server. She put out order in too early, so our appetizer, salads, and entrées all came within 5 minutes. We refused our entrées so we could properly enjoy our calamari and salads. It was so fast that we didn't even get our biscuits until after our entrées came the 2nd time! We shared their chocolate cake as it was hubby's birthday. That was very moist and delicious.

Red lobster has been around for 40-plus years ever since I was a kid it's a go-to for seafood and shrimp I don't get into this restaurant all that much, but I was really pleased with our server Brittany, her effervescence and attitude made for a very pleasant experience. Our food was good and plentiful,
l and timely and of course Monday is endless shrimp night $21.99 ( all - u can eat w/1 side... Mix and match various styles scampi, coconut fried , Walts Fried shrimq and Alfredo). If you love your shrimp like I do,!! you can go through a whole bunch and their never-ending with many thanks to our server.!!!!!! For keeping our food in front of us

Came in for dinner got seated right away.
Food was delicious as usual.

I ate here for the first time recently. I grew up eating fresh seafood. I was really surprise at how good the food is here. It's a great place for date night.

Our waiter/ waitress was the best (wish I could remember her name 😍) everything was DELICIOUS 😋 only problem manager on duty was very unpleasant and rude & somewhat unprofessional, not sure what she was thinking or assumed but my Auntie put her in check in a very professional way! Other than that atmosphere was great 🙏🏾😇 It was my Uncles birthday 🎈🥳🎂 and he truly enjoyed himself and that's what matters 😊

Had dinner here Thursday 11/16 with my fiance and father. Our server Nicole was fantastic, very kind, attentive and has a great attitude.
The food is delicious of course. $25 endless shrimp.

Mainly left this review to shout out our server Nicole (Red tips on her braids, Panthers fan), just felt like she deserved recognition.

Will definitely be back.

Well I know this Red Lobster has a bad wrap , but this visit was flawless, even inspite of their short staff and limited dishes... Everything went without issue..The young lil guy who served us was great. Food was great. It was lobster fest and did not disappoint. Atmosphere was pleasant and wait wasn't too bad..
I would say they looked like they were under some stress , but they clearly operated as a team and didnt allow it to destroy the customer experience.
I can come back here.

This was my 1st time at this location... I arrived around 415p on a Saturday & I sat at the very small bar where Kimberly... the bartender ... also took my food order.
She was friendly & gave great service. I ordered the Lobster, Shrimp & Salmon plate with the baked potato & coleslaw sides. I always ask for the sauce to be left off as well as ANY salt or seasonings since I just like to taste my seafood as is with lemon slices on the side. She promptly brought my drink & those tasty cheese biscuits. It started getting busy after awhile but she stayed on task & my meal came out in a timely manner AND just the way I ordered it... except the kitchen forgot my Coleslaw. That happens alot at Red Lobster for some weird reason ... but everything else was cooked to perfection... yummmm.
I would definitely come back to the Gastonia Red Lobster again. Some of the other locations closer to me are sadly understaffed & the service takes HOURs... but this location was really well run. The Manager even jumped in to help when things got backed up. Well done & thanks Kimberly for a pleasant dining experience.

As we walked in we were greeted by Kim she turned out to be our waitress. She was absolutely wonderful customer service A1 and food was great.

Great food ,fantastic service, loved the lobster bisque, coconut shrimp, and the garlic shrimp, only disappointment was the regular scallops, looked frozen, and of course the biscuits were amazing , 5 stars for the best service and shrimp in the area, a lot better then Pineville location, thank you !

I love their biscuits. The only thing I dislike is that they don’t season their crab legs which that really don’t matter because it’s good anyway. I have never had a bad experience at Red Lobster

Our waiter Corey was the best. He arranged for him and coworkers to sing happy birthday to my daughter, who turned 15 today. Excellent service, thanks Corey for a great experience!

Curbside pick up is very quick & accurate! The indoor dining is also very personable with great food as expected.

Wife and I stopped in for the first and were very impressed! Food, presentation and staff were all top notch!

We just had a family get together there for a birthday celebration! Staff was extra friendly and the manager took the time to show us a big lobster that was in the display aquarium out front and he was amazing with the kids! Food was great! I believe the name of the manager was Jimmy! Thanks for your time with us and the waitress was awesome!
