Staff are always very friendly and polite. Avoid going on weekends when it's very busy.

Pay attention to the signs! So many people are annoyingly lost and make the process take longer than needed. It's simple, follow the signs and wait for the house to give you the signal to drive or stop or pay. Don't be the one lost person that holds everyone up or cuts off other vehicles.

Had a 26" UHaul full of worn out used furniture and unwanted old random oddities. Cost me less than $30.

They're always super professional and helpful. The days before Dorian hit, they stayed open a few extra hours, because it was so backed up. Despite the long wait times that afternoon, everything was kept running smoothly. The only problems I ever run into are other people who are too rushed for common courtesy, or who have no concept of patience when faced with extenuating circumstances. (Looking at you, Josh Taylor.)

The prices are super affordable, too! There's a convenience site near my house, but I can take a whole trailer full of waste here for less than it costs for four bags at the convenience site.

Just took 440lbs of old paint to be disposed of and had an incredible experience. We were amazed at how organized, helpful and friendly everyone was. We did not even get out of the truck They did it all and we only paid $17.60 Thank you to everyone there today You were all fantastic

The girls here are great and we have saved 300.00 a YEAR taking our trash to the land field. So much better than paying some one

Day before Hurricane Dorian, they were busy but kept things moving. Man at the dumps was very friendly & offered to help. Ladies in trailer were friendly & had great customer service. This site is very well maintained & organized. Highly recommend....

Way cheaper than the "convenience" locations.

I have found that those running the weight station are very quick and professional. It is sad that customers at times do not know how to take your turn something similar to a 4 way stop. My persoanal aggravation has been with others who act like spoiled brats.

There's no reason this place is lower than 5 stars! The two ladies at the scale house are the most kind and helpful people ever. If you don't know what to do, they will LITERALLY walk you through each and every step.

Staff at the weight office are always great. Super friendly, funny, salt-of-the-earth ladies. Well organized drop off areas.

I've been coming here since I moved into the area. Much cheaper than paying for trash pickup. Make sure you tell them at the entrance window what you are dumping if you have it bagged, yard waste and trash go to separate areas. Always friendly service!!!

Never have any issues wonderful people at the weigh station

It was simple. Easy in and out. Emptied my trash. On and off the scale. Paid my money. Not really a wait. I didn't mind it at all. Thanks Onslow County!

Always friendly staff. Hours are great and the only time I really had to wait was after the hurricane when everyone was there.

If you come on Saturday's be here early there is a waiting time to get in the dump and waiting time to leave but it's a great recycling ♻ place to come to and not that expensive.
