Shrimp Boat

We are traveling from Mississippi and visited the Shrimp Boat tonight! Top notch service and food! The chicken livers and cheesecake are delicious!

Absolutely amazing food and wonderful customer service. This was my first visit, and they definitely won a forever customer! Thank you!

Shrimp boat is always a great place for comfort food! Nothing healthy, but wonderful just the same!

This food was incredibly good to me. Not massively expensive at all and just great tastes.

"There Ain't No Chicken like the Shrimp Boat Chicken" They have the absolute best fried chicken there is, period. I have been eating at the Shrimp Boat for 30 years and I have never had a bad meal. They make their own cocktail sauce and it is warm. If you like fried chicken, this place is a must.

I love this place! Great food at a nice price. The employees are friendly and efficient. The manager needed to replace my fries for extra crispy ones and did so with speed and a positive attitude.

Bring cash because that's what they accept, but there's an ATM if needed.

Very friendly staff, food was delicious and fast Fair prices and more than we could eat!! Love the tater sauce.

Our party enjoyed boiled shrimp with excellent cocktail sauce and the fried chicken with extra crispy skin melt in your mouth. The tartar sauce and hushpuppies had a touch of onion which was so good. Our dinner was excellent! We'll be back soon.

My advice just check your food prior to make sure you have everything they seem to forget alot lately. Just updating since this post they have gotten better as far as making sure you have everything however it can't hurt to male sure you do. They have some of the best chicken.

I have loved Shrimp boat since I was a kid. Aint no chicken like Shrimp Boat chicken.

This place has the best southern fried everything! Not a chain, local, reasonably priced. Not greasy, or over seasoned. Chicken livers are our favorite. You arent going for the atmosphere rather the food which is great.

So here is an update from the first time. The food was good. However the service really stinks. I went there on Tuesday 9/26/2023. I placed my order over the phone and the guy was very nice. But when I got there, lady at the counter was extremely rude. She also in my opinion over charged me. Then when I asked for a register receipt she wrote down my total on the food ticket they hand the cook. I ordered a breast plate and 1 soda and my total was almost $15.00. The plate was only supposed to be $10, so I guess these people are charging $4 for a soda. I call that price gouging. No stress. I guess I will have to contact the state. Maybe that's why you can only pay with cash. Anyway beware before going there.

I LOVE THE SHRIMP BOAT! I always get the same thing, Fried green shrimp, no fries and extra hushpuppies- Never, has it not been perfect! And the ladies behind the counter are amazing, always making me smile. Banana puddin' is good too! See you tomorrow~

I've lived here my entire life and never been to the legendary Shrimp Boat. Not sure why but we finally tried it today.

It was very good! We especially loved the shrimp! The fries were really good and so was the tarter and cocktail sauces!

If you haven't been you definitely should try it out!

Sorry I didn't take pictures. The onion rings were not greasy and they were so crispy...the best I've ever had...and lots of them. The fried chicken was also very good. Staff was pleasant and friendly. Glad I stopped here.
