Japan Express

The food came very fast but I could tell it was not freshly cooked. It's like someone cooked some plates ahead of time or someone ordered the same thing and then didn't pick it up and they served it to us. It was still edible and the service was very good so I didn't say anything. Speaking of, the waitresses were very attentive and made sure we were very well taken care of. They kept a smile on their face and were really down to earth. The restaurant was clean as were the bathrooms; except I did not like the fact the only way to dry our hands was with a hand blow dryer that was in need of a bleach bath or even replaced. I re washed my hands when I started looking at the hand dryer. The under side of it where the air comes out was the dirtiest part. I say these things, not out of harshness or anything to hurt the business but because they are facts and the restaurant needs to know about it. They are my favorite restaurant and I've always enjoyed and promoted their delicious food. My overall is still a 4/5 stars

It was my first time dining at Japan, although I've driven past it a thousand times.
I walked in and was greeted immediately and found a seat. The menu had plenty of choices but I decided on Hibachi Chicken with cabbage and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and courteous. I will definitely eat here more in 2024.

Love the food here and it’s the best boba I’ve ever had! I think they make their own tapioca!

It's always nice coming to have lunch or dinner here. Familiar friendly faces, with quick service and delicious food! I wish they sold Sushi!! Lol...The tea is AMAZING!

Great hometown atmosphere with quickly cooked Japanese food. All the flavors you would expect at a price that won't break you! It's the perfect little experience so wait for a seat, be nice to the staff and enjoy a little slice of Lincoln county!

Easily the best food in Lincolnton. Absolutely love this place. I eat it probably 4-5 times a week.

Being our first time it was really good. My wife never had scallops. N she like them and for the price. Can be beat. Taste good n. Great service. Alot of space n good ambient

We love to eat here .I use to eat here b4 it changed locations the man cook ( owner I think) always smiles and speaks every time I've been there .The food is so wonderful as well as the staff.The place is always clean and well stocked. Ate here with my girlfriend on Monday before flying home. One of the best Japanese restaurants I've ever been too. Better than some places back here in Rhode Island. Definitely recommend for those who live there or like me were visiting. Will definitely go back.

First off when you walk in you’re automatically greeted by the most professional, courteous and respectful staff possible. It’s kept exceptionally clean and the prices are fair especially due to the inflation. But HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

I ate lunch solo here... They were pretty busy when I was there at 1 pm.... Longer than expected wait time for food even with the crowd. The serving portion was good.

Loved this place in its previous location and love it even more now. The shrimp sauce is god send. I love the new additions to the menu as well!
