The most amazing jewler ever. Everyone is so friendly and Mr.Harris takes his time with his customers to explain the process of repairing jewelry. My ring looked awesome when he was done with the repair. All my jewelry needs will go to Mr.Harris.

Mr. Harris was and is amazing. Extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful, he really works with his clients. My now-husband and I worked with him on designing my engagement ring. Even after the picture was drawn up, seeing the real ring in person blew me away. We used the same concept to design a matching wedding band. Now, he continues to offer his expertise and services. On another note, the store also sells beautiful crystal and unique yet affordable ($20-ish and up) wines from around the country. Definitely worth checking out. Come appreciate his years of experience with a personalization that beats any chain store.

The only jeweler I will go to in Gaston County! They are a great team. They helped me transform my grandmother’s diamonds into a band I can use everyday. It came out exactly how I wanted. I will continue to do business with them.

3 years ago my now Husband had Mr. Harris make my engagement and wedding band. They are absolutely beautiful and unique. Not only is he amazing with Jewelry but customer service is also top notch! I go in about once a year to have my diamonds checked and to have my rings cleaned and I am always welcomed with a smile and great conversation. My Mother recently gave me a ring that she purchased had purchased when she was younger. I loved it but there were a few stones missing and the ring was also in need of a good cleaning. Because it was very sentimental to me I began my search for someone that I could trust, replace the missing stones and make the ring look brand new. I was looking for an engagement ring for my fiance and I went to many of the more commercial chain jewelry stores like Zales and Jared to name a few.

Since my fiance would be wearing this ring for the rest of her life I wanted to be sure she was happy with it so I took her along and she showed me several styles she liked.

We found several rings my fiance liked but all were just not exactly what she had envisioned so we kept looking.

We then went to see Douglas Harris and we were both immediately impressed with his level of knowledge and he seemed go know exactly what my fiance was looking for. At that point I was on my own as my fiance still wanted to be surprised with the final selection.

Doug was amazing in his vision of what the final product would look like. He made some sketches and we worked with them until it was what I felt my fiance would love. Then he ordered 5 diamonds for me to look at as the central stone. No other jewelry store even suggested that.

So when the stones came in we both looked at them and selected that perfect diamond as the center piece for the ring. Wow.

Doug called me when the ring was finished and to say it exceeded my expectations does not even come close to my level of satisfaction. But the real test was what would my fiance think of the ring.

When she saw it she was truly blown away and I am not sure her feet have hit the ground yet in her complete satisfaction with her new ring. Of course all her girl friends wanted to see the ring and to a person they to have been blown away with its magnificent beauty.

So we took a beautiful ring to start with and customized it to ring that is in a class all of its own in regard to style and beauty. I did spend a bit more than the standard ring but for the small amount extra I paid, I ended up getting so much more.

My decision to go to Douglas R. Harris Jewelers turned out to be the best decision I made and my fiance has the ring she always dreamed of having.

Doug helped me pick out an engagement ring for my now wife. He was very patient and helpful throughout the process. I never felt pressured or tricked into spending more or getting something worse than I wanted. He was generous on pricing that easily beat the big chain stores.

Doug was absolutely fantastic to work with! I would give them 5+ stars if it were possible! A diamond fell out of my engagement ring, I was devastated. Doug worked some amazing magic & had my ring rebuilt using my diamonds & the ring is absolutely stunning! It is truly a custom creation that I wouldn’t have dreamed of without his help & expertise. I recently got engaged in March this year. I've not been very mindful of my ring as I've not been used to it being on my hand. Well, it broke due to my carelessness (never again). I was devastated nonetheless. My fiancé brought an old Pandora charm that isn't made anymore to be fixed to this place of business and it was a perfect surprise for me. There's a reason he's my fiancé ;) I thought if they can fix that there's hope for my beloved ring. A very professional gentlemen greeted me with mask in hand for myself with his already secured (Covid precaution). We sat across a table while he diagnosed the situation. He told me the way the ring was made may have had a something to do with it's durability. Well they fixed it and is truly even more beautiful than when I first laid eyes on it. Even his price estimate was spot on. I wish I could post before and after pictures. I will be taking my jewelry to this place of business as long as I am in the area and 100% recommend their services. Do not hesitate in trusting this business with your fine jewelry. You will be in the absolute best of hands.
