Cook Out

This is definitely fast food. But it was freshly prepared! The shakes that we ordered were excellent and nice and thick. Had to eat with a spoon! Nice inexpensive place.

So far every Cookout I've ever been to, Gastonia, Charlotte, Lincolnton, etc... they've been super fast regardless of the line because there's almost always a line no matter which one you visit. The food is great and even tho the employees might not be the most attentive to their customers on an individual basis due to the volume of business they have during their rush hours I completely understand. If you've never been there you should go because the food's worth it and the price is even better.

They have good fast food the BBQ is 🥵 warm for me. They have chicken, bbq, hotdogs hamburgers hush puppies french fries milkshakes. I only went there for milkshakes however they are opened late and people do get hungry in the middle of the night🤔

Food came out looking great, and they got the whole order right. Always happy with my food here. Where else can I get a quesadilla and onion rings as a side.

The guy working today, did amazing! (5/26 12:11pm) He ran the lines by himself and it was incredibly impressive. I've spent 17 years working in food service and I know how hard it is to handle this volume by yourself. He was nice and fast! He handle everyone with care and respect.

Great tasting food that is a really good bargain. Order the “Cook Out TRAY” with two sides and a drink and you’ll get change back! Great milkshake choices also!

Always feel bad for the workers cause it's always so busy but they do great, love cookout so much!

Edit: Lord bless whoever was cooking/making the trays on 7/14/23 around 8:30 pm.... the best, freshest, most delicious, perfectly correct cookout tray I have ever had in my entire life of ordering from cookout.

I go here for hot dogs and cheerwine floats.
Acceptable food, quick. I don't go here for the staffs charming personality, I don't go here for the fine wine selection (aside from cheerwine) I go here for relatively cheap eats. This is the hotdogs equivalent of the waffle house, yall need to lower your expectations a few notches and you will be much happier in my opinion.

Full on solid 5 stars . I didn’t know the place had no inside kinda weird , guess it’s a cookout thing . Food was perfect , soda was perfect went with a cheer wine never had it before . Prices more then fair

Pretty good, food is good. And so are the prices. Can't blame the order taker for being so pushy and fast, but just watch yourself when ordering. They're awful pushy. And I'm not one to lag at the menu.

I never pass up the opportunity to eat at a cookout! This location was slammed and my food came out fast and delicious. Nothing like a Cheerwine float. Thanks again

It's great for what it is. Super fast service. The line can be wrapped around the building also a full group of people ordering in and they will have you put super fast. Cashier is still pleasant even though he was super busy, still took the time to greet every customer appropriately. Nice

I love Cook Out, it's a great place to eat. Food is always delicious 😋, price is excellent and fast service.

Cookout is already great on its own, but when you get fast, friendly customer service along with it, it's even better. There's obviously a reason why there's always a line at this location. In my opinion it's because they never mess up your order. Even with 5 or 6 cars in front of me, I was still in and out of there in under 10 minutes. Not bad for a Saturday night.

Good food and good staff. This location is outdoor seating only so if you need to use the restroom or sit inside, skip this one.

The lady running the speaker and window is fantastic. The line is always heavy but no matter what she guarantees great service. Which in my opinion is good when running through a fast food joint. She deserves a raise. Keep it up.

I've been coming here semi regularly for over 5 years and can't say that I've ever been disappointed or say anything negative against this location, the food meets all expectations for Cook Out standards and I haven't had any problems with the customer service. They can get rather backed up during peak hours but the drive thru tends to move at a steady rate regardless.

Best milkshakes we've ever had! The cashier at the drive thru was so upbeat! I asked if I could tip him and he said "A smile and a thank you are the best tip!" That employee is a keeper!
