This park was nicer than I was expecting. Some say this park can be a little sketchy at night, but I imagine most families aren't doing a lot of night picnics. There is a pool that was about $4 a person, a free splash pad, two playgrounds, a freaking mini train ($1 a person), basketball courts, and a few covered areas for parties. Worth visiting on a sunny day if you're in the area.

This park has beautiful green space with trails and ample covered picnic tables. The playground is adequate with climbing structures and swings (no slides). There is also a small splashpad, as well as a little train to ride. Overall, great park with tons of space for running and dog walking.

This is a wonderful park! Children loved the splash pad and waterpark-like pool. We loved it enough that we have rented shelters for our youngest son's 1st birthday next month. We spent so much time in the water that we'll have to get to the train and playground next visit. Also a very clean park! Bathrooms were stocked and neat.

First time there. Was on a bicycle. Very nice place. Rode 8 miles to get there and enjoyed it. Well worth the ride.

It's a good park, my daughter loves the pool and swings. Although I don't feel it's safe after around 5 or 6pm because of groups of wandering kids/teens that Ive witnessed torment little kids and animals and even adults once I intervened and the little boy threatened me. I work with kids like him so he didn't scare me yet I could see my line and make my point before crossing it. I ended up talking to them and they left. THE POINT is I'm at the park allowing my daughter to play "safely" not to HAVE to protect her from, defend others from, and work therapy on groups of City Bullies.

I think that cameras should be put up All over and roaming 24hr security, if not until the park is closed.

Great place to take the kids, keeps both my 5 yr old and 10 yr old entertained. Pool was nice, clean and lifeguards were pleasant and alert. Concession stand prices were very affordable as well. Will definitely go more often!

This is one of our absolute favorite parks. We're Mecklenburg country residents; however we make several trips a year to enjoy this park. This park is also a wonderful birthday party spot for the kiddos.

A great option to bring your whole family to. Water park, mini train loop, picnic tables, bbq grills - what else you may need?

Nice splash park and pool. We used the playground on this trip. The kids enjoyed the creek as well. They walked on the rocks. The water is not very deep.

This is a pretty park in a nice neighborhood. Play areas, picnic sights, and walking trails are easily accessible. There is also a train, pool, and splash pad to entertain the whole family.

This is a cute little park, it has a fun climbing dome of ropes, a few swings, and some great places to sit and have a picnic.
