This has been by far,my most pleasant experience having a child. We've had a high risk pregnancy but when we got here for our planned c section,right away,our nerves were put to rest. The nurses who prepared us and were with us in the OR made us feel so much better. They were knowledgeable and caring. The Dr was amazing. Throughout our stay,everyone has been awesome,from the people cleaning our room,bringing the food,which tasted great to the nurses who were caring for us..everyone has gone above and beyond.The hospital is clean. I definitely recommend coming here if you are having a baby

I was nervous to come here because of some of the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was one of the most well run, clean, and caring environment I've ever seen in a hospital. Every person I spoke with was kind and took their time with me to hear my needs. I wanted to give a special thank you to Julio, Brady, Stacy, Annie, Alexis, Elise, Matthew, and George. Lastly I wanted to say thank you to Tera, she was just the sweetest and so helpful, waiting in the lobby with me for my ride. They all made my hospital visit infinitely easier and comfortable. Don't listen to the bad reviews, I have been to horribly run hospitals and this is not one of them. In fact, this might be the best hospital I've ever been to. Thank you thank you thank you to everyone at Mission Hospital. Also, the food is insanely good. 100/10 all around.

Last night I was suffering with chest pain and shortness of breath. I had pleurisy a couple of times 15 years ago and thought I was having a flare up.
My husband drove me to mission this morning and I only had to wait in the lobby for about 5-10 min. The doctors and nurses have been very nice and efficient. They wanted to keep me overnight to monitor my heart. Honestly considering the circumstances, it’s been a great experience. They’re monitoring my pain and taking very good care of me. The meal was actually decent too, which really surprised me because the food I’ve had at other hospitals isn’t even palatable. Thank you for the quality care you guys have given me.

I had a planned c-section and couldn’t be happier with the level of attention to detail and care I received. The cooperation between MAHEC and Mission Hospital was seamless with my care. I stayed 4 days at Mission Hospital and the nurses, doctors, and nutrition staff made our stay stress free. I have dietary restrictions and the nutrition staff catered to my needs. I never had any issues with the nurses and I absolutely loved them for helping us through tough situations. The doctors keep us up to date with any changes daily to our care. Thank you!

Was admitted for a surgical issue for 24 hrs. I couldn’t have asked for better care. Doctors, nurses, and staff were incredible. Best patient care experience I’ve ever encountered!

From the ER to the medical floor all tests and procedures were explained thoroughly to me. Our nurses were exceptionally competent and kind. I want to also share my complete gratitude to my surgical physician Dr Lee. He is world class !

In 2018 (I know this is long overdue), I was in a horrific car accident that was a direct result of my own poor decisions to drink/do drugs and drive.
When I awoke I did get ripped a new a-hole by the doctor who tried putting things in perspective to me as she also said she was genuinely surprised I wasn't handcuffed to the bed.
As this wreck had been a failed attempted suicide, I was sent to the crisis unit and healed for 4 or 5 days there while attending groups and the such. I'm sure much of the staff has changed by now but I will never forget that despite being an addict, despite being wreckless, despite my absolute poor choices, the staff treated me with absolute respect. I was not talked to in any nasty way. I was treated as a human. The doctor who did my initial exam upon entering the unit was emapthetic as she stated she knew my broken ribs and bruises hurt.
After that accident, it did take a couple of years of still trying to get sober for it to work. You'd think that would've been enough, no? Not for an addict. But I am grateful to say that thanks to the care of Mission Hospital, I am alive and very grateful to be. I am sober, I have been for years now and am grateful every day for the care that I received. I pray daily for blessings to pour among those who did not judge me based on my disease, but instead saw humanity and pain in me. Thank you, a hundred million times. As I can never thank those beautiful humans in person, I am spreading love and empathy around me instead as I believe that is what they would wish me to do.

My daughter had emergency gallbladder surgery Christmas Eve morning. The staff, nurses, and surgery team were AWESOME. We were in from out of town for Christmas and they made a scary situation ok. We greatly appreciated the care given to our daughter.

I recently had a procedure done on my leg. Outpatient orthopedic surgery. The level of care I received was outstanding. Other than the clerk at the check in desk. Didn’t get his name. White man Black hair EXTREMELY RUDE. 5am shift. He made me cry at check in and I thought it would set the tone for the day. But the nurses and staff saved the day! They were all wonderful.

I love this hospital I’m from out of town I was in town visiting for my birthday when my husband got sick they transferred him from Regional Hospital a hour in a half away he was treated so nice at Mission Hospital we were there for a week they treated me so nice with so much concern for what I was going through because I’m not from North Carolina I’m just here visiting mine you that……….Also one doctor that went out her way to make sure my husband in I was well her name is Dr Annie. A Nurse Amanda wonderful personality, the whole stuff that worked on my husband on the 7th floor the week of October 2-8 thank you guys so much the whole physician team was wonderful I will tell everyone about this hospital hands down top hospital in the world.

I delivered here about a week ago and it was a wonderful experience! The nurses and doctors were so kind and showed genuine care. They answered all my questions with patience and knowledge, and were very attentive. I would absolutely come back to this hospital.

My son was in Pediatric ICU for two days. From the time we got to ER the staff was amazing. Dr.Newell and Nurse Max ( that's her nickname) in PICU were amazing! They should definitely get many praise and be recognized for their amazing work. They were right on top of my sons treatment. They went above and beyond. I cannot thank everyone enough for all they did for him.

Got rear ended on Rt 40 heading to Harrah's. Made an appointment to get my car checked out at the local Toyota Dealer. Once done, I was still in a good amount of pain in my neck and shoulders, so thought it would be wise to get checked out. Googled hospitals and Mission was the closest, but only rated 2 star?? I was a bit hesitant, but need to be seen, so took a shot. This WAS BY FAR the best and quickest ER visit I've ever had. Took me right in, vitals checked and I was in a within a room to be seen within 15mins. The Dr or practitioner came in to look me over in 5 mins. She was great.. told me what she thought, gave me a shot for the pain and prescribed some medication for me, that she called into the local Walgreens for me. Then Chris came in about 10mins later to process me, get my info and sent me on my way. You people leaving 1 stars are crazy! Everyone was polite, attentive, caring, concerned and didn't duck around. I hope that I never have to go to a hospital again, but if so, hope their like Mission.

I was treated here for spinal fractures in my lumbar. Most of the staff treated me very well. Special thanks to Brooklyn (CNA) and Carolina (Nurse). They both were great at what they do and I can tell they’ll do great in their career

Mission hospital and the staff are the nicest people I have ever dealt with and believe me I have dealt with hospitals all over the country. Everything from pre surgery to post surgery I feel well informed and at ease which is most important to me.

My loved one was admitted through the ER to Mission’s cardiac ICU. All the doctors and nurses did a great job. The care was excellent.

After my early labor resulting in my 2 pound 6 oz son being born early Christmas morning, I can honestly say that I would recommend Labor and Delivery and NICU at this hospital above any other. They took amazing care of me and every doctor and nurse I encountered while there I would describe as nothing less than angels.
There’s no way I could ever express how much their care and compassion meant to me for my son and I both. I almost cry every time I think of the way I was treated through one of the hardest times in my life by these folks. And thank you could never suffice.

This hospital was very professional, and friendly I had to go in to the emergency room for a bad bone infection and as soon as they saw the infection they responded quickly and accurately to treat the problem while I had to stay at the hospital for five days they continuously treated the bone infection in a friendly and professional way. The food from the cafeteria was very good.

7 hours waiting in the ER, this is a joke of a hospital and needs to looked into how this place is managed. They told us people have been waiting for 15 hours, in front of us to be taken care of, most pathetic place ever.
Mission instead of your lame response do something about it and fix it....you can still make your money you want so bad just care about people why you do its a very simple thing.

I had carotid artery surgery on Friday. I received world class care from Dr. Doug Macmillan and his team, as well as the nursing staff at mission. Shout out to Mark on 4 Heart and Erica in PACU(recovery), you guys were EXCELLENT.
I was concerned about the level of care because of what I’ve heard and read after the HCA acquisition. My concerns were were put to rest by the excellent care I received.

Mission hospital saved my life. I had a heart attack and a stroke and because of them I walked out with no damage to my heart or brain, I give God the credit but the doctor's at mission hospital were definitely his tools
