Crust Wood Fired Pizza

We ate here on a Sunday afternoon, they sat us right away. The food was great. Service was great. Atmosphere was fun.

The pizza is amazing. The staff was great as well.

We run the JI running group Tuesday night Terrace run and met Steve who graciously invited us to visit this lovely local pizza place in that plaza. So our experience was a Tuesday night around 7pm. His welcoming of us was reflected in welcome and attentive staff and a cozy and pleasant seating. We all had pizza and appreciated the diverse and high quality toppings. We also have a gluten free member of the family who greatly appreciates a pizza place with gluten free options and crust and careful preparation which the team was attentive to. Thanks very much Steve and team for a lovely visit and meal.

I am OBSESSED with Crust's kale burrata salad with roasted cauliflower! Our favorite pizza was the goat cheese tomato, which is topped with sliced red onion, fresh tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, basil, crumbled goat cheese and fresh mozzarella. I also highly recommend starting with a basket of their fries (not usually something I order at a pizzeria, but they are fresh cut and are accompanied by a garlic dipping sauce).

This is another good spot in Terrace. The pizza is solid but the pasta is really good too. We had the meatballs tonight to start with which were pretty good. Then for the main course I had the beef short rib cavatelli. I thought this was really good. The beef was so tender and the sauce wasn’t overpowering but still tasty. For my first time trying the pasta I would get it again. I might like that more than the pizza. Give them a shot if you’re close.

We stopped in when getting into Charleston relatively late and chose this restaurant. Cute atmosphere, small but well thought out menu of pizzas, pasta and a drinks menu that had excellent local beer selection, small but well thought out wine selections. Above average service, very knowledgeable. We loved Beef Short Rib cavatelli pasta with broccolini and mushrooms. Shrimp scampi also excellent. Kale Burrata salad with cauliflower balsamic; and greens and beet salad with blue cheese, apples and candied walnuts. The Tiramisu was excellent as well as a fun twist on S'mores. Our server Baeleigh was exceptional in every regard, both in knowledge and execution.

I've been looking for somewhere with that really crispy pizza and flavor in the crust besides just yeast, and this place nails it. The service is always really good even with the entire restaurant full inside and out. It's a decent value for what you get, pizzas could be a little bigger but they're enough for two people as long as you get an app. I highly recommend this spot.

Cozy and happy atmosphere, attentive, friendly service, and the yummiest pizza and salad we've had in a long time. Bacon/bibb salad w/Bleu cheese dressing, then a pizza with Bleu cheese, delicious, tender, tasty beef, and a balsamic glaze. Didn't like the arugula tossed on top, but it was easy to pick off. Tall, fizzy coke with refills. Everything was great.

Ordered this pizza because we stayed in the area and saw that this place had gluten free pizza as well as great reviews. We were not disappointed. On a Sunday evening, they had it ready in 25 minutes and we took it home to enjoy. Highly recommend!

Great pizza and great people. The crust was really good and topping good quality. Staff very friendly. Good job guys. The price for what you eating definitely worth it. It can get busy at lunch so better plan ahead. Although I'm not sure if they accept reservation. Anyways it's recommended...

We chose this to meet up with some friends and we were wanting a good pizza. Well, we didn't get a good pizza, we had an AWESOME pizza. So much so, we ordered one to come home with us...6 hours away. Also, had the mushroom cavatini and meatball app excellent as well. Service was top notch. Can't wait to visit Charleston again, this will definitely be on my list to go back for.

My wife and I have started to drive some distances to try out new local places, this trip brought us to Crust. "The Boss" as her shirt said was very surprised to hear that we drove from the Savannah area just for lunch. We started with the Arancini which where delicious and the tomato sauce was flavorful. I chose the Crustavore and my wife did a build your own. Both were amazing pizza's full of flavor but the crust did get a little burnt on one side which brought the 4 stars. For dessert we asked about the Gelato and were told it was a dark Belgian chocolate. We got the 3 scoops and it was probably one of the most simple yet smooth and creamy desserts we've ever had. If you think you're full and can't have dessert the this is the one for you. Well done Crust, well done!

We got chicken wings and the Del Re pizza (ham, artichokes, olives, and mushrooms). Everything was delicious. It was very busy but we were greeted and seated quickly. Service was friendly and quick. We sat in an inside booth, which was very comfortable.

The steak sandwich with rosemary fries is a feast! Many thanks to Amber, the bartender, who gave me the recommendation. I got it to go, and the lady who boxed it up for me was very diligent in including all the meal details! The sandwich has multiple ingredients, and the steak is top notch! I also got the house wine, and I appreciated the variety of pricing on the menu. The shop itself feels like a hole in the wall due to its small size but enigmatic atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.

Excellent pizza (crustivorel and Maine Beer Co on tap!

Visiting from Toronto. What an awesome find. We loved the Neapolitan style pizza with their local take and flavor combos. The pepperoni was a salami, we also had the pizza with the broccoli as well as a super delicious capreze salad with burrata. So delicious.

One to two times a year we have to travel to Charleston from Charlotte for a specialty medical visit. And every time we go, there are two must do's. Going to the beach, and getting gluten free pizzas at Crust!

Wonderful fresh ingredients that I can modify for every weird allergy we have, and no cheap chewy gluten free pizza dough. Adding that wonderful scorching from wood stoves and you have one of the best little restaurants in Charleston in my opinion. That's affordable for all of us too! My favorite is the beef brisket with balsamic drizzle, and the butternut squash goat cheese pizza. My daughter is allergic to tomatoes so we can get a white sauce oh, and I can't have pork so there are delicious alternatives like goat cheese, brisket and fresh chicken. Something for everyone.

Put your order in early for pickup or make a reservation because these guys are popular and it's tough to sit outside smelling all that delicious pizza while you wait for a table for 45 minutes. And yes, the wait is always worth it. Maybe add some wings to that order too k?

We ordered two gluten free pizzas that were fantastic. We will definitely be back to try more of their options. The place is very quaint and comfortable. The service is great and friendly. We had a great time and enjoyed awesome food.

OMG THIS PLACE IS JUST OPENED. This is a must go, food is amazing and the staff is amazing. They are always checking on you and lookat the room and designs. This is a must go.

Went to Crust during a recent visit to Charleston. Food and service was excellent and fast. Flatbread was soft and light, and the aioli with the fries was also spot on. Pizzas were indeed the star of the show and would highly recommend visiting this spot for amazing wood fired pizza.
