Whole Foods Market

This is one of my favorite “vegan fast food sites” when I visit Charleston SC.

I do most of my shopping here online and sometimes go into the store. Every time I have had to get a pick up I was greeted so friendly by staff. When I go in everything is easy to find. Staff is always so friendly and willing to walk you to what you are looking for. I’ve even had great conversations with staff of suggestions of wine and cheeses. I always feel like the produce is fresh and the meats as well. I love this store.

This is a must-stop in my travels to and from North Carolina and Florida. Either I bring my own picnic lunch to eat outside at the picnic tables or I get lunch from the hot bar. Regardless, there is always an ice-cold kombucha involved from he amply packed cooler inside. And the rest rooms are ALWASY super clean. Whole Foods is always a great travel stop! Highly recommend.

Matthew, the barista, makes one of the BEST americanos that I have ever had. From what I can tell, the machine doesn't work at 100%. Every other drink that requires espresso needs to be remade. Matthew actually listens and watches to make sure that the espresso cones out correctly. I've stood in line 4 people deep, and I have watched other baristas rush and pour bitter espresso into cups because they are trying to get people's orders filled. Matthew takes his time; he engages you in polite conversation, he's a professional and an efficient worker. Look out, Whole Foods. Someone may come along and take the only decent barista that you have.

I've been having fun ordering crazy birthday cakes from their bakery. They always bring it on my strange requests. The pics are of a vegan cat cake. People at party were surprised to find out about it being vegan. It was gooood

I stopped by Wholefoods for a birthday cake and they had everything prepackaged and ready to go which was fantastic. I grabbed what I needed and then utilized self-checkout. There is a Amazon package return/ pickup station in this store. The coffee bar seems to be a popular place in the mornings. My experience was quick and easy.

The best selection of spring water in town, in my opinion . The produce is fresh, and the appearance looks like the garden of eden . Store brand items are under the name of 365, and they rival name brand products.

So happy to have it in my neighborhood. Definitely adds to quality of life. Would love the deli counter and buffet to return to pre pandemic standards. I'm enjoying the recently Wednesday Chef's Plate Specials!

This was my first visit to this particular location and Lisa in the Deli was fantastic! She took her time with me and treated me as if I were her only customer. What I purchased, I planned to eat in the car on the ride home. She offered to take it to the back and cut it into bite size pieces for me. I felt like I was at an restaurant instead of Whole Foods!

Next to make my experience all the more enjoyable was my cashier named Beatrice!! She was amazing! Her line was actually closed when my husband stepped behind her last customer. She never said a word to him and she turned her light back on. That was when he realized her line was actually closed and offered to go to another line. She told him no it was fine. He must have informed her that I was coming to join him in line and that we were paying separately and she was ok with that as well. She was so sweet and pleasant to deal with and again, I was made to special and like I was the only customer.

I will definitely be visiting this location again because the customer service makes the hour plus drive worth it!

I was hesitant to give 5 stars, because out of the tons of times I’ve been here, I’ve had a few less than stellar experiences, but they were from customers, not the staff. I had a women aggressively state I stole her spot among other profanities, and did not engage. The stores staff was shocked and how I dealt with it and let me know.

My only poor staff experience was when I ordered for pick up online. My order was given to someone else and it was an experience, but handled appropriately, though frustrating.

Outside of that, generally well stocked, helpful staff and generally good.

Probably our favorite Whole Foods in the state. We're very familiar with Whole Foods living in Seattle and Bellevue Washington for so long. The feel of this location is all its own and it is very inviting. As to be expected, the quality of all the produce and meats were stellar. Nice parking lot and in a really good area.

I was in whole foods in Charleston because I was meeting up with a guy selling a bicycle to me. While I waited, I took a cruise in the store and was amazed by what a nice Whole Foods it was. Huge, clean, well stocked, and a ginormous place to sit and have a meal or some coffee.

I wish we had one of these near us. Prices aren't cheap, but so many good products (they even had Guinness zero)

They carry many dairy free products my daughters need.

Clean, up to date, organic choices and fresh food. A place highly recommended!!
