it might look slightly run down or ghetto, but this is the BEST and most consistent fast food Chinese in Mount Pleasant. The woman especially is a legend, she has no days off except Monday. I highly recommend the beef and broccoli or wings

This place is great. Not because it’s the worlds best version of Chinese food. It’s takeout Chinese food, but at the top end of that category of Chinese. Where they truly excel is at ALWAYS getting the order exactly right and ALWAYS being fast. When you need a lot of food right now, you can count on this place. And when you call in your order, you better already be in the car on your way there when you do. Their kitchen is so fast it could probably play ping pong by itself.

I haven't been there in years, sadly. But when I was a kid, I had the absolute best memories of that restaurant. They were so darned friendly and always had amazing food. They used to make my brother fried noodles, and introduced us to broccoli rabe. I fondly remember a few times of her offering to make me fried donuts if I could run down to the Harris Teeter for her -- and man I would set land speed records to get them there as fast as possible!

They even taught my brother and I some bits of Mandarin when they heard we'd love to learn more. (I've forgotten it by now, I'm sorry to say)

But one day, I really, REALLY hope to go back and just sit in those booths again. Such a wonderful, wonderful place.

Best Chinese food I've had in ages. Seasoned perfectly, not greasy, huge portions (dinner last night & lunch today). The steamed dumplings were my absolute favorite!! Best I've ever eaten actually. I only wish they were open early so I may buy more to eat on the drive home. Super friendly, super fast delivery service. It's on my permanent list of places to eat when I come to town on vacation.

I understand the current no delivery policy in light of the pandemic. But they should reflect this on their website and on the sign in front of the store. However the good news is that the food was yummy. And it was also a very large portion for the price.

We love China East! Glad it’s a part of Mt Pleasant. The owners are very nice and they deliver which is always a plus. The delivery drivers are always nice and the food is great and always fresh.

Good place. Friendly people, fast delivery. Regular old Chinese food. The only issues I have ever had were due to the language barrier but otherwise am always pleased. I order from them all the time!

This has been my favorite place for Chinese takeout for years! I've tried a few others, but literally nothing compares to this spot! Everything I've tried from here is impeccable! The service is great and I love that it is family owned! Now that I have moved I miss this place so much! You guys should give the Chinese places around here some cooking lessons! :D

Excellent location. Good portions on the combo dinners. Beef in Garlic sauce is good and on the sweeter side. Beef is very tender.

Good fresh and cooked perfectly. Always happy to prepare my order steamed with the sauce on the side. They have brown rice too!
