Gwynn's of Mount Pleasant

I was actually referred to Gwynn's by a retail merchant I intended to do with business while on vacation in Charleston only to learn they didn't have their own brick and mortar location when I arrived. I know they have a number of retailers within their channel so to call out Gwynn's specifically must be indicative of something so I took the drive to neighboring Mt. Pleasant.

At every touch point: Women's clothing, Women's shoes, and beauty & cosmetics, I encountered warm, friendly sales associates representing mostly brand lines that are already familiar to me as well as a few new ones I'd like to become familiar with. But the absolute standout of my visit to Gwynn's by far was Shaina H. Shaina's well poised, yet down to earth style drew me in immediately. She took the time to explain the benefits of being a virtual customer (I live out of state) and allowed me to dabble in what the customer experience would be on the occasions I'd be vacationing and could therefore shop in-store. Shaina's gift is that she takes the time to get to know the customer as an individual verses calculating sales in a preemptive or forceful manner. I left feeling as if I'd gained a new good friend. She even bookmarked restaurant recommendations and helped me get oriented with the area.

Shaina, you can count me in on your book of business, from here forward! I couldn't help but tell others I encountered on my vacation that they should stop by Gwynn's and shop with you! I'm an awful packer so at least I know if I forget to pack something for vacation, I can come by and visit with you to get all the beautiful wears that I would need!

I had a wonderful experience shopping at Gwynn's over the Christmas Holiday. The staff was extremely kind, considerate, and helpful during my visit. Shanna stood out the most during my visit. She walked me through the process when setting up my account, and made me feel at home. Five Stars all day, and will visit again.

Absolutely love Gwynn's - such quality - especially in the infant/children's items. Always amazed at the selections - my grandchildren love everything I get them!!! Love this store. It is rare to go into a high-end boutique or store and find an entire staff of warm, welcoming and knowledgeable people. I ran in before a meeting to see if I could find a bag. I have been trying looking online for a month, and Shaina Hazan helped me find the perfect everyday bag in minutes. She listened to what I wanted and nailed my style. She did a great job and was so sweet. This will be my first stop for clothing and and gifts in Charleston.

Shaina is one fabulous attendant. You are very fortunate as are we the customer to have such incredible customer service. Beyond!!! And I'm leaving with 2 full bags. Incredible over and beyond the norm!!!!!

My daughter Riley and I just happened to stop in while we were on a quick trip from Lexington,SC. Shaina, was the first person to quickly come to see if we needed anything and let us know about the amazing shoe sale. She was absolutely the best sales associate I have encountered anywhere. She was patient with us and helped us for hours as we shopped. She never made me feel pressured and was honest about the styles, fit and functionality of not just the shoes but the clothing as well. We visit Charleston/ Mt Pleasant every few months and I will definitely be coming back. As long as Shaina will be there to help us! Great experience!

It has been a really long time since I’ve had such an amazing customer service interaction. Everyone is normally rushed or left to tend to themselves but Shaina went above and beyond. I came in sort of browsing and left feeling confident about my purchases.

I was in Mount Pleasant a few weeks ago I always go to Gwynn’s. I was looking for 2 dresses for upcoming weddings, and left with 3!! Leslie helped me and was wonderful. She went BEYOND the call of duty in helping me with making sure I had the right fit for my dresses. Not every sales person would have gone to those lengths to help a customer, but Leslie did! Leslie is the best! I love my dresses and I love shopping at Gwynn’s.

Stopped into Gwynns to pick up a birthday present for a friend. I was greeted by Shaina who kindly assisted me in finding the perfect gift. Needless to say, she quickly evolved from a personal shopper and became a friend. She popped the top on a cold Coke, served in a glass bottle…IYKYK and gave me an assortment of chocolate to snack on while I took a peek at their stunning shoes, designer bags, and gorgeous cocktail dresses. Whether you are looking for a five-star shopping experience (I'm talking Bergdorf Goodman good), or just need to grab a little gift, look no further. Don't sleep on this gem of a store. Next time, I'm leaving the baby at home and swapping the Coca-Cola for a glass of champagne.✨

Gwynn’s is truly amazing. I’m from the Philadelphia suburbs and visited Gwynn’s on my previous visit to Charleston. I admired a necklace but didn’t end up buying it but I didn’t forget it either. Nearly 3 months later, I’m back in town and visit Gwynn’s. As soon as I entered the store I encounter Shaina. What makes Gwynn’s so unique, she remembered me! This time I left with my necklace. For those who remember the fine department stores of yesteryear, Gwynn’s will send you down memory lane. For those not old enough go to Gwynn’s to experience the friendliest customer service imaginable. Shaina even went above and beyond by securing us a dinner reservation at a popular Hard to get Sullivan Island restaurant.

We had a great experience with Amanda today! She knew just what to do without direction and got my look just right for my headshots today! I’ll definitely go back to see her!

Hands Down a MUST DO while visiting Charleston! The staff are incredible, warm, & welcoming. As you meander through the beautiful items offered at Gwynn's there's someone at every turn to ask you if you need assistance. Brittany felt like our own personal shopper and we loved every minute of it. She even had most of our items beautufully gifts wrapped. After we returned home an item was the wrong size and they allowed us to exchange it. This store is a GEM! Don't miss this experience.
