Carnival Cruise Port

Love Carnival Sunshine. Easy on and off Port. Staff is topnotch for sure. She might be a older ship, but it's a fun ship.

I've sailed out of Charleston twice now. So glad there's a port close to home since I hate driving or riding long distance. Charleston is just a skip and hollar! Just wish they would offer more destinations.

Very organized. Just follow instructions from parking lot attendants. Parking is generally 21.00/day. You must pay by card for Parking no cash accepted. Parking is free with your handicap plaque. Be prepared to give a tip with cash to those who are taking your luggage aka Porters.

Directions are made very clear and there was staff available to make sure you were guided exactly the way you need to go. The system they have in place for parking, drop off and check in was very efficient.

We traveled to Naussa on a five day cruise and it was amazing. Check in took a little over an hour. We had drink passes, so once onboard, we hit the bars. Arrived around 8am. On board before ten. We had access to our room by noon and left the port by 3 pm.

I really had a great time on this Cruise Line & the port here in Charleston SC has made things so much better since it's so close to Columbia. I hear they will close the port here in 2024 which is a bummer. Not sure I'm willing to travel all the way to FL for a cruise so I'm going to enjoy them while I can. The food was great on the ship & I'm looking forward to cruising again soon.

I went on the carnival sunshine cruise for 4 days. It was really fun!! I love how they play a lot of music and we can dance and party!! They have karaoke, show movies, pools, jacuzzis, water park, ping pong table, fooz ball, basketball court, comedy shows, teen clubs and clubs for young kids, and u get unlimited food!!! We went to the bahamas and it was so fun!! The water is so clear, although it is extremely hot there!!! Be prepared for sweat but also fun! It’s not the normal heat!! They also have restaurants for you that you can reserve and the service is fantastic and they do performances for you when you’re there. I would definitely recommend this place for vacation!!! If you like dancing, music, and partying this is for you!!!

!!!! The only thing i didn’t like was one of the sunshine band members staring at me creepily every time i would watch them !!!!! ⚠IM 16!!!⚠ And i have a video of proof!!!

The parking, drop off of luggage and embarkment was great.

The cruise was amazing! Boarding and check in was super easy. I was nervous that I would have issues with ID but everything went well.

My Wife's 1st of many to come
She's been skeptical of sailing all her life!
She concurred her fear and now she planning for multiple trips a year.

The Port was very organized and the Carnival Cruise Sunshine was a great experience to the Bahamas Bimini Island 🏝🏖☀😎

We absolutely love our vacation on the carnival sunshine cruise ship based out of Charleston South Carolina. I would definitely recommend anyone to take the time and do a great family vacation! This past week, my family of 4, along with other family members, had the pleasure of taking a pleasant vacation on this cruise ship. The ship itself is beautiful, huge, and spacious. lt was so clean as well as hand sanitizer throughout the ship to use. The staff was awesome they treated everyone like family on first name bases. The food was really good we had no problems at all. Food was served around the clock, so you always had time to go pick up something if you wanted up to 12 o'clock in the morning. There were always activities to do throughout the day. They gave you an itinerary with the breakdown in the time and location of everything to do. The Bahamas was great. It was hot, but it was great. L o l and the Half Moon were the best part of the whole vacation. I would note that this is a very pricey vacation. It costs about $2500 for a family of 4, all food and juices included. But you have to pay for your alcohol beverages that are very costly, and you have to pay for your pictures that are $18 a single picture. I would also like to add that They do have a shopping area on the cruise ship that marks some things down on the day before the last day. Ok, lastly, I would like to thank the cruise Director James Love and my stewards Jamal for making this vacation so comfortable!

1st cruise , by far my favorite vacation . We were in 7238 on the Sunshine. Michael went above & beyond for the 4 rooms we had! We returned today & booked another cruise already!

Parking and getting to the ship was easy. If you have a handicap sticker you get to park for free. Good thing to know. Otherwise it's 21 dollars a day to park.

They have this process down to a science. Yes, with this volume of people, there is some waiting in line. But the lines move pretty quickly. Remember.... don't bring any type of weapon. Men, that includes a pocket knife

Not too bad as far as wait time. Leaving is a little hectic but coming back is very organized

Carnival Cruise Port in the Port of Charleston has boarding the ship down to an enjoyable experience. Easy luggage dropoff, easy parking, and easy check in. Less stress equals more fun. Get on the ship faster and start your vacation of a lifetime.

Love the Charleston cruise port. It's a shame the city is kicking Carnival out for a few rich peoples desires, proving the local government is bought and paid for by the few, abandoning the many.

We rode a shuttle to the ship from the terminal but it wasn't bad in terms of the time it took. Everything was very efficiently performed.
