Coming Street Grocery

This was the closest grocery to our AirBNB. One of my favorite things about Charleston is these corner markets. I bought beer and cheddar cheese popcorn here. It has the essentials.

Coming street grocery will always be my first choice when it comes to snacks and alcohol in the greater cannonborough area. The price is fair (it's downtown what do you expect) and the service is as good as a bodega can get. They will ID you, so underage people should visit somewhere else.

These guys are killing it night and day. Open late on weekends and early in the morning, friendly service no matter the hour. Wide range of products, and fair prices. Keep up the good work fellas

Decent selection of merchandise packed into this shop. They accept credit/debit cards and won't charge a fee for total over $5.

So this is the only place where you can purchase beer & wine in Charleston on a Friday night after 7pm. It appears liquor stores close early in this town. Regardless, this is a small convenience store with moderately above average prices, but in a town where everything closes early this place may be your salvation.

Three numbness three dollar. Nothing more to say. At least I got limes.

Overpriced

Unfortunately I was never treated like that. I took 2 beers to the cashier and a guy wearing a cap became upset because I asked about beer prices. Of course I need to know price in order to buy. I told him that will be my last time because of bad treatment and he simply kicked me out of the store because according to him I'm always asking the price. Hope the owner see my review.

Stay far away from this store, walked in trying to get orange juice out the freezer and the owner was cleaning the shelf. I asked him to hand me one and he snapped. The guy at the register was just the same. I picked up 3 snacks and orange juice and it was about 25 dollars. They are obviously overcharging people on products and it doesn’t help they don’t have prices on items.

Occasionally shopped here over last 8 years and tonight will be the last time. Employee, or owner not sure, yelled, cussed me out, & then chased me out of the store for entering with a cup of water.

Cannot imagine any employee ever speaking to a customer with the degree of poor taste this man showed tonight.
