New York Sub Hub

I am a huge fan of sub sandwiches and have previously owned a family sub sandwich shop. New York Sub Hub is owner operated every day and it makes a huge difference. The quality of meat products is high. Their offerings for toppings is more than an average chain. The biggest and most important thing to me is the bread. They have a very nice soft roll that they serve their sandwiches on and it is better than any chain offers.

Their fountain soda machine offers “sonic” style ice which is always great and the New York themed decor is fun. Don’t waste your time at a chain. Go here first! Pictured is their All Stops sandwich. It is my standard order. It is consistent and never disappoints.

Their subs were really good. Will definitely be going back. I had the meatball sub with jalapenos

My fave was the decor. Food was ok--bread was nice and toasted. Limited parking in front. More in the back. This is near the UNT campus.

The sandwiches here were delicious. I had the turkey and cheese sub, which was a good choice. The New York themed decorations in the shop were a lot of fun to look at as well.

One of my favorite sandwich shops in town! Atmosphere can't be beat as the focus is all things NYC. They nailed it. Been coming here for 20 yrs and don't plan on stopping.

A staple of Denton and on the edge of UNT’s campus, it’s a must try if you’re a freshman looking for some good eats. You will not find a sandwich place that does subs the way New York Sub Hub does! Did I mention the fantastic prices? Awesome food for a great college student budget price.

This is our favorite stop when we are in Denton! In fact, it’s my fave sandwich shop in Texas! Always good, always consistent and the friendliest staff. In fact, today when we pulled up with our son in his wheelchair, Anson immediately came out the front door with a wheelchair ramp for us!

I go here multiple times a week, you can get a whole sub for less than 10 buck depending on what you get. The interior is great, and I know I’m supporting a local business.
Pros: cheap, fast, and pretty good taste wise just have to find what you like. Lastly they have the good ice and their sodas are always perfect.
Cons: they don’t put enough meat in my opinion. It is cheap so I get it but even with extra meat it’s barely enough.

Awesome customer service!! I never wrote a google review but this place deserves recognition, fresh ingredients and flavorful taste within each bite. As long as I have to come here to Denton, this will be my new spot. I will never be able to eat at subway or witch which again. They don’t compare to New York Sub Hub

i always enjoy my sandwiches here, nothing overly complicated like other shops! having gallstones means I can’t eat many things including the oil and vinegar here, but the sandwich ingredient quality is still amazing & flavorful!

Unequivocally the best sandwich shop in Denton, TX in every category. Delicious, fresh, great customer service, and the perfect atmosphere.

Always well maintained, been coming for decades now. Food always good. Management also very helpful when the rewards program deleted my reward. The texts don't tell you, but you have two weeks to get your reward otherwise it's lost.

Worth every penny.

This place is amazing, great charm, great quality food at an affordable price with excellent customer service. The parking maybe tight in front but there is parking in the back also. One of the best subs I have ever had. Definitely a recommended place to go (I drive 30 mins one wat just go eat here). I had so far the # 1 w/bacon (pictured), #14 (pictured), and the #13, all of them were really good. The atmosphere in the front dining area is a little busy but they have a side area that is a little more quiet if you want less traffic while you eat.

This place has been around for a very long time, the student's of The University of North Texas and Texas Women's University NEED this place.

Years ago, it was one of my husband's and mine favorite places to go. We've been married going on 35 years and of course dated all through college. My brother and several friends from his high school came here. ALL 3 of our children have gone here, one of my sons is now married and the happy couple are still going there.

It is a wonderful family place, a place for kids to gather, to study, to relax, for groups and take out. It is just a fantastic place with fabulous food and great prices. Which is what a college town like Denton WITH 2 MAJOR UNIVERSITIES NEEDS!!

This place just CAN'T BE TORN DOWN.

I have passed by this place so many times but never stopped in. I’ll never pass by again and not stop in! They were so nice and the food was great. Will definitely be returning!

The sub's are delicious. I chose the smoked turkey. Loved the inside. All the classic photos are awesome! The service was great and friendly staff too. Will come back for sure. Thank yo for such a good meal tonight.

Today I had a meal from New York sub hub and quite honestly I don’t know if I will ever be the same. Eating this sandwich was an out of body experience that changed me and the way I view humanity. It altered the course of my life and gave me a new sense of what it means to be alive. If you haven’t tried New York sub hub before, you are missing out on one of the greatest experiences mankind has to offer. Every bite I took was better than the last and if your mouth could have an orgasm, this sandwich would make you finish. I’ve never experienced such a plethora of pleasurable senses in my mouth before. This wasn’t a sub sandwich, it was a spiritual awakening. New York sub hub, I am your number one fan forever.

The selection of subs was perfect! Nice amount of veggies, quality ingredients. Loved the atmosphere! Genuine subway tokens under the acrylic tops of the table, a turnstile to walk through to the ordering line. Lots of fun genuine recovered subway signage, newspaper articles, NYC trivia, with lots of UNT coverage, too. Service was great!

This place is so good. The ingredients are so fresh and the meat is great quality. The fresh baked bread is soft and delicious. The deli meat tastes very fresh and it doesn’t have that weird antibiotic taste a lot of places have. Portions are very filling. The soft baked cookies are actually soft and baked to perfection. The prices are great and they have a lot of variety! I will be a regular here from now on! Support local!!
