A staple restaurant in Denton, excellent food, the beef fajita chimichanga is superb, I get it naked with the sauce on the side so it stays crunchy, same for the chicken flautas which were crunchy-delicious. Their cheese sauce (queso) is legit.
Great frozen margaritas and fresh salsa hits all the spots. You have to get the flan, it’s was awesome!!
The chimi-cheesecake with chocolate sauce was pretty good too.

Our meals was Hot and Very flavorful !

Bre was a wonderful waitress and food came out quick. You get queso and salsa w your chips when you sit down. Our meals were Hot and yummy as well. I’m Glad we gave this place a try while in town.

The service was exceptional.. you don't receive that kind of service anywhere anymore.. the meal was wonderful, and it didn't take long to be served.

We ordered the carne asada and an enchilada and the food was fabulous and so was our service from our waiter. He laughed with us and made us feel right at home. I will continue to support this family business. You should definitely come check it out. I think it is a hidden gem in Denton.

I LOVE Mazatlan's! I generally order Fajitas, where they give you more meat than most other places these days. I have tried many of their other dishes and they are all amazing. My only complaints are that the queso is super bland and boring - probably because they have a lot of older diners that could not handle it with too much seasoning. That, and that your experience varies wildly depending on who you get for a server.

Service was absolutely incredible, never had to ask for anything because everything was offered to me before I even had a chance to think of asking. The prices were incredible and beyond worth it. The food was so amazing and authentic, the ambience was so comfortable. My husband and I were so content eating and hanging out and definitely plan to be back. My favorite place I’ve been to in Denton. I had the shrimp enchiladas and my husband had the chicken and beef quesadillas and both portions were HUGE and delicious.

The BEST mexican food you can eat , everything we get is spot on and the atmosphere is really good , the wait staff is totally awesome

Hands down this place beat out most large Mexican restaurants I’m Hispanic and when I tell you the chicken sour cream enchiladas were excellent I mean it. Moist seasoned chicken made with crema not sour cream the beans perfectly seasoned as well as the rice. Hot sauce had a kick to it but they also offered hotter sauce. Mexican street tacos fajitas were perfectly seasoned fresh cilantro and onions. Prices were decent and restaurant was clean. Thank you that this place exists within the area of Pilot Point Tx and Denton Tx well worth the trip you’re not close by.

I've been here several times and the food has always been good the service has always been good they use boiled chicken for some of their chicken dishes which I'm not a fan of but everything else is really good and it's reasonably priced it definitely somewhere I would eat again

This place was so good that we drive from Tulsa to eat here when we are in town (Denton,Texas) and I'm sure we will continue going there...Maria and Betsy were our waitresses everytime we go and they are fantastic so ask for them by name

Authentic Mexican food! Salsa was so good. They serve a small bowl of queso with the chips and salsa. Was a great find here in Denton, taking my girl for pre birthday lunch.

We live close, so we get our food to go! Order is always correct and food is hot. We enjoy this place immensely!!
