RG Burgers and Grill

These are hands-down, the best burgers in Denton!!! Today I tried the Pica burger and their Coke float. Everything on the burger was perfect. The buns are really good and the meat is cooked to perfection. I was also able to try some of their sauces on the side (can’t remember the name of them) They were amazing as well. 10/10 recommend

Great surprise to this mom and pop home in the wall style location! We were in the area and craving a good burger. We spotted this location and gave it a go. Immediately after walking in and seeing the pictures on the wall I knew we mad a good choice, you could smell the burgers being cooked and feel the laid back atmosphere. The service was not rushed and pushy, and the menus wasn't over crowded with hundred of selections. There was something for all four
Us. Food was well worth the price and will definitely be coming back. Worth the visit and the price y'all!

Large amount of options at this place, the staff was very friendly, and they always checked in on you if you needed anything.

Regarding the food it was fresh and tasted delicious. Fills you up and gives you a perfect bang for your buck. Best part is there is a lot of parking nearby, so you won't have trouble finding a spot.

Burger was 8/10 for taste which is really good as I'm a burger connoisseur. Overall would like to come back as they have many different options. I went with the safe bet of the normal cheeseburger. The fries were fresh and tasted like real potatoes.

Yummy burgers! Ordered a regular cheeseburger with extra pickles and loved every bite. The sourdough buns and big patties are what makes this place different from other burger places. Service was great and bill was about $30 for two burgers with fries and a beer. Great value!

We wanted to try a new burger place and this place was Awesome! We read all the great reviews and we agree with all of them. The sweet sourdough bun was special and the burger meat was so juicy and flavorful. One of the best burgers we’ve had and we’re foodies! The beer battered onion rings were spot on. Absolutely delicious! Can’t wait to come back to try more on the menu. This is a must try for everyone reading reviews!

Great little place for an above average burger. Burger patties are large and very flavorful, and the buns are semi sweet and toasted. No need for a double meat unless you are REAL hungry. Wife really liked the onion rings and I enjoyed the tater tots. Portions are generous. Will definitely go again sometime.

RG’s is the real deal when you crave a melt in your mouth hamburger. They have a menu to satisfy anyone’s taste. Not only are the burgers cooked to mouth-watering perfection but they serve up a delicious salad that will feed a small family. Our service was amazing. Hannah was not only attentive but she was friendly and knowledgeable. Don’t let the other guys fool you. RG’s is the best burger joint around.

It's been years since I have been there. It great to see things are still as good as they where the last time I was there.

When I was there I took on King Kong. I am happy to say that I took down the King.

The food there is awesome. If you are driving near or threw Denton TX you really need to stop at RG's.

But I can’t recall what my friend got. but the side was fried pickles fosho.

Great Food! Excellent Service! Abby and Gilbert were so patient and helpful finding a receipt from a month ago weeding through spreadsheets! Would definitely recommend!

I took my son here because we wanted to try something new. First walking, the aroma of the grill, the presentation of the restaurant gave the cozy but backyard in Texas feel. I imagine this style of place would be a stop for guy fieri on his show. An excellent experience for just the simplicity of it all.
The burger was thick, and juicy. Their chili was simple but on point to complement the patty. Steak fries were crispy but not over done.
RG Burgers is doing it right. They for sure made us return customers and I plan on telling everybody about them.

A GREAT place for an awesome burger!

im so glad i found this little neighborhood gem! coming from NY and living upstate for 4 years, garbage plates originated and are very popular there. when I saw RG's had one listed on the menu, i was locked in on trying.

I haven't had one in over 5 years but as soon as I had it, it took me back to my NY days - this food is just as good as the originals! really neat atmosphere as well. i recommend everyone to try!

Very good burgers. I got the chili-cheese burger. So big, thick at 1/2 pound of meat. The chili has a good flavor, not spicy but may be to some. Definitely ask for a to go box as you can’t eat it all, especially with the bottomless steak fries. Also our waiter today was very good, explained everything and made sure we had everything on a timely manner. Will for sure return.

2nd visit just to make sure it was as good as the first time. Everything is delicious! Burgers, fries, onion rings, chili, spices, sauces, macaroni salad, sweet tea and the buns are fabulous! We will return soon and explore more menu options…

Update: they no longer cook the burger patties to suit your preference. All are apparently cooked well done, which is very disappointing. The texture and taste of the burger is totally different and not appealing to me at all.
I’ll have to find another burger place.

Staff is always friendly, even when they are busy! Great food, great prices. Took my dad here for his birthday and he loved it! Can’t recommend this place enough!

Great burgers. The chili fries are delicious and the onion rings are massive. One of the best burgers in town for sure.
