FRAUD ALAERT

I sent my young teenager into this store to buy a case of dr pepper, ice and water. He was taking a long time, so I went in as I entered the clerk was taking his money. Specifically, the clerk told him it was $47 for 24 DP's wrapped in a case (2 twelve packs) and a bag of ice. l interrupted and asked why so much? He stated that the sodas were for individual sale even though 12 packs were clearly advertised for 5.99.

I took the money back and left. I am disgusting that anyone would deliberately over change a kid like that. The biggest alarm/sign/clue for the ripp off was that he asked for a even number and hadn't rang the cash register.

THEY SELL EXPIRED FOOD!!!

I stop here a lot because it is close by. The prices are surprisingly high and the store itself is not well cared for. The other day I bought a couple of Moon Pies, and when I got home I took a bite of the strawberry one. It was disgusting, I checked the expiration date and it had expired two months before!

I went back today, grabbed the whole box off the shelf and took it to the counter. I told them they had sold me one of these expired food stuffs, and they just took the carton and put it behind the counter. No apology, no offer of a refund, not even a thank you for discovering it.

When they asked if I needed anything else I said, “An apology?” To which I received a very insincere one and an excuse that “the guy was supposed to take care of it.” Taking no personal responsibility or pride in their work just makes it worse. To top it off, they seemed annoyed at me for making a fuss.
