The Country Boy Restaurant

We stopped here for breakfast after seeing it featured on Instagram. We sat ourselves promptly and were greeted right after for drinks. The menu is small, but that’s what makes it great. We ordered The Country Boy and The Hillsboro, both were delicious! The biscuits are the best I’ve ever had. I think the only thing that would make this place better is if they partnered with Hatcher’s to serve local milk! The prices were good and the scenery was amazing. This is your true mom and pop type place.

You will have a hard time finding a better breakfast in Williamson County. The food is fantastic and the southern hospitality is top notch. I recommend everything but the biscuits and sausage gravy were particularly good. Our server was so kind and helpful. We plan on making this a regular Saturday morning stop!

The staff at The Country Boy Restaurant was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we stepped in, their warm and welcoming attitude made us feel right at home. Their attentiveness and genuine care throughout our meal were remarkable. Kudos to the team for not just serving delicious food but for making our dining experience truly delightful. Highly recommended for both their great service and scrumptious dishes!

Love The Country Boy! It feels like you’re eating at your family’s house. Good friendly people (customers and staff), awesome atmosphere, and amazing ideal breakfast food. The menu was perfect. Coffee was hot and refilled often. Service didn’t skip a beat. Great local spot. Can’t wait to keep coming back. I got the Hillsboro and a side chocolate chip pancake which was 10/10.

So happy our favorite local spot is back open! Larkin provided immediate, friendly and prompt service, our food arrived quickly and was very good-gravy and grits were both phenomenal! And we enjoyed the additional outside area with the fire, not to mention dad being such a kind, welcoming host! Johnny is one of the good ones and we are excited to have one of our own re open Country Boy! Thank you, Johnny, for the Mickey Mouse pancakes for the boys and we look forward to seeing you soon! Stop for some great food that is very reasonably priced and get a bit of what makes middle TN the best!

This place is a tucked away gem. We seated ourselves and were promptly greeted. This spot harkens back to a wonderful time when everyone knew each other in town. Are there paper plates and plastic utensils? Yes. And they add to the charm of this place. Delicious home cooked breakfast served by a sweetheart of a waitress. And let's talk about the pies!! Oh my!! I had the Chess pie and my hubs had the Pecan. Do not miss this stop!!

Best breakfast I've ever had! Sausage gravy and biscuits are amazing. The coffee is delish. Servers are super friendly and you get your food very quickly.
Recommend getting there first thing. They fill up fast and stay busy.
I will be back!

The Country Boy is definitely back, and we are so happy for the community. My wife and I had a great breakfast on opening day, and have returned a few times since. The new owners, Johnny & Cam are all about maintaining the vibe and menu of the old Country Boy, and was great to see that the new staff was so friendly & happy to be part of the new team.

Quick update: quick breakfast this past Sunday…..paper plates and plastic utensils for a $20 breakfast…..come on ya’ll, you’re better than that. Also pre-cooked sausage???

We moved from Ohio found the dinner loved the people and the food was great too. What a wonderful blessing. We came to Ohio a big reason are favorite places were changing hands And we felt lost. Love you guys

As much as I’d love to keep it a secret so I don’t have to wait for a table, I have to spread the good news. It’s back! The coffee is strong, the bologna is fried, and the tomatoes are so fresh you’ll think they’ve got a garden in the kitchen. Just go … you owe it to yourself.

The Country Boy is such a great atmosphere. It makes you feel like you stepped back into time. Friendly staff and great food. I highly recommend!

This is the absolute cutest place I've ever eaten breakfast! We knew we were in the right place when we saw the "Community Table of Wisdom", which was also labeled the "Grumpy Old Men"'s table. The staff was incredibly helpful as we were out-of-towners and had no idea what to order. Our server was so helpful that she brought us just about every kind of sauce/topping you can imagine. I can't find the name of what I ordered for breakfast, but it contained a shredded biscuit, bacon, grits, cheese, poached eggs and came with tomato gravy. I was skeptical at first just because I had no idea what in the world tomato gravy is. Don't be skeptical! Just try it! Our server brought me a side of it along with regular sausage gravy in case I didn't like it, but I absolutely loved it! We had no wait at all when we got there and we would visit again in a heartbeat if we found ourselves in the area again. I highly recommend the Country Boy!

I’m a Leipers Fork Local and a tough critic. I’ve been a regular at CB for 20 years. Johnny and Cam’s takeover brought it back to “The Good Ol Days”

Fantastic food & service, yes Country boy uses paper plates because all of downtown Liepers fork is on septic. The owners are local & have lived here over 20years! Great service, great food & great experience !!

What a fabulous place to hang out for some good food!! Even though it was busy we had great service and great recommendations and pleasant conversations with the sweet server... we loved the lemonade and catfish and it was Daniel's first time trying hushpuppies!! The dessert was fabulous too!! Thanks for the wonderful experience for our first time in Tennessee... we'll definitely try to make it back soon!!

I can’t say enough good things about the Country Boy Café. My wife and I were staying in Leiper’s Fork in late October while visiting Nashville and the surrounding area. When we walked in it was like a blast from the past, in all the good ways. Everyone said hello and were very friendly – the staff and the customers! The food is great – a smaller menu, but for fans of breakfast you’ll find what you want. The food is clean – not greasy, not overdone – every time it was made to order and done correctly. Johnny Weber and his team have done a marvelous job of reopening the café and getting it right. We have not ever been there before so I can’t speak to what it was like in the past, but I can tell you to ignore any of the past posts about how it’s “not the same”. It may not be, but I can tell you if you want the Tennessee experience in a beautiful location (drive around in Leiper’s Fork, especially Baily Road if you want to see stunning views of TN) – this is the place where you should start your day. Morgan, Stephanie and Aunt Sue took care of us on different days and all were just wonderful! Treat yourself and don’t miss this gem of the south – it’s worth every minute. And sit close to the “grumpy men” table, besides being friendly, these guys are a scream and daily regulars!

So happy The Country Boy is open and with very nice, welcoming service!!!! Enjoyed my delicious breakfast and plan to return again soon. A wonderful, country atmosphere.

Great food. Confused mt order but the staff was very apologetic and fixed the small issue quickly and professionally. Had a great burger and plan to go back soon.

We went here on a Sunday morning around 1030. Had to wait 40 minutes but we were able to walk around the town shops while we waited so it went by fast. Our server was great, very funny! The food was excellent...try the beer cheese dip appetizer for sure. Ok, that was an odd breakfast choice but we had to try it.
