I have been going to Gentle Dental Arlington MA for years. It was okay. It's near by and convenient. But, the last visit really disappointed me.

They told me I need routine x-ray that day. I asked the hygienist if my current insurance cover me just like before. She checked and told me "YES".

It turned out they never call my insurance provider and now I am left with a $157 balance. I talked to them many times but the only reason they gave me was your insurance changed. Someone didn't do their job when I asked them to check.

I had previously experience that insurance didn't give me right fee answer. So I always checked with the hygienist when I visited them. I had no problem with this location until the new owner took over. The owner doesn't even come to the phone when I asked to speak with her directly.

Is that fair for a customer to pay this annoying bill while I did check with them at the time of the service.

They want me to pay the bill. That's all they want. What will you do if you were me?

Do not let these people fool you....Gentle Dental is a scam. After paying for an unneeded root canal and being told mutiple times that there is nothing wrong with my husbands tooth, he went to another dentist and was immediately told that he didn't need a root canal but the tooth next to the root canal was cracked. Gentle Dental gave an unneeded root canal and missed an obviously cracked tooth! They did that because they were milking my husbands very good dental insurance.
When I called them out on their pratices, they refused to transfer my children's records. After MONTHS of emails and threats of going to the dental board, they finally said they had the records, but the 'records' they had were not my kids.
This place is a dental horror show. You would be better off going to a shoemaker with a tooth puller than going here.

The phone number listed here is disconnected. Can’t reach the billing department and nobody will return my emails after they sent ME an urgent request to contact. Ridiculous
