Vancouver Desi and Nepali store

The guy at the counter is very friendly and often asking for suggestions on what to add to their new Desi and Nepali grocery collection! He encouraged me to call in ahead if I need to make sure anything is in stock. Friendly and helpful person. Glad it exists as the place Nextdoor to Chutneys just shut down.

Great store and the guy running the place is the best. Always a pleasure talking with him. Highly recommend.

DO NOT BUY any of the Indian groceries here. I bought some Deep dried coconut and it was rancid. The clerk said that is the way it is supposed to taste because Deep is south Indian. Actually Deep products are manufactured in NJ. Didn't get a refund or exchange because product was opened. How am I supposed to know if the product is bad unless I open it? They don't stand behind the products they sell. Take your business to the Indian store on Fourth Plain or to Beaverton (I have no connection to any Indian stores).

I asked for a refund three times and got the same NO answer every time. If you were going to give a refund why didn't you give it the first time I asked.

This shop has NO integrity. The shop keeper is responsible for all the products they sell. I don't expect you to try every items, but I expect you to stand behind everything you sell. I support local business just not ones that don't stand behind their products.

Horrible customer service! I buy gas & food here all the time. And sometimes I microwave my lunch coming from school. I came in today and put my food in the microwave before I pick out some snacks to buy and Jim the owner came up yelled at me opened the microwave took out the food and told me to leave in front of a bunch of people.

Certain worker stole my lottery winnings.
