Lovely spot, mostly flat, about 1.5 and 0.6 mile loops, gravel parking area for about 3 cars, a sturdy covered bench at trail head. No map, but it's small and matches Google maps. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for something short/new. Nice mix of wooded areas and more open spots, some cool trees and sinkholes around. Visiting between fall/winter so didn't take as many pics. You'll likely spot some local wildlife while out here, it's a nice rustic style trail. Leashed pets allowed. No camping, horses, bikes, ATV, etc.

This was one of our hikes while staying in Cedars of Lebanon State Park in Lebanon TN. I have always wanted to visit the glades of Tennessee. Since we were there at the tail end of winter, there weren't as many flowers as I would have liked, but I could envision what it would be like in the spring, summer & fall. The glades are a very dry habitat and may seem barren at first glance, but one can most enjoy it if they look into it, not merely at it.

Great place for a quick hike in some mild wilderness. Trail is not well maintained, but that kinda adds to the experience. If you take the entire loop, it's about 45 minutes at a decent pace, but there are a couple cut throughs also that can make it a 20 minute stroll through nature. Bug/tick spray is definitely recommended during anything but winter.

Shot a big deer and a couple of nice rabbits here. Then celebrated with a strong glass of bourbon and a nice campfire🤙🏼

Hidden gem in plain sight.

I seldom see anyone else utilizing this beautiful, secluded, and peaceful protected land. Bring boots and get ready for pictures.

Although the trail is part of the Cedars Lebanon State Park, it is not very well maintained. Loved the hike, though

Beautiful walking area, but parking is extraordinarily limited.

Really beautiful area, clear signage, and both times I went, I was the only person there. Only downside is very little maintenance, if you put much importance on that.

Not well maintained but it's a decent wilderness trail. I was absolutely alone out there

SPIDER CITY! There isn't a parking lot, just a small gravel patch at the trailhead with enough room for two cars. As others have mentioned, this trail doesn't get much use, and because of that what should have taken an hour to complete the outer perimeter trail took nearly two hours because I had to swing a large stick in front of me knocking down spider webs nearly every 3-5 feet for the entire 2 miles. I'm sure the scenery is lovely, but I feel like I saw almost nothing of it trying to avoid getting hit in the face with webs. It's a shame this trail isn't used more because the wide fields are filled with wild flowers and butterflies, and the woods do seem picturesque, especially the last third of the trail with the sinkholes and remnants of a stone fence. I even spotted some cactus, oddly enough. If you're thinking of going, go now before the spiders rebuild the thousands of nets I knocked down!
