My litmus test of a quality Chinese restaurant: lemon chicken is a large section of breast meat, not chicken nuggets.

This restaurant certainly passes my test. And the chicken was moist and tender. The breading was just right.

My husband ordered the prawn plate. I tasted one and it was very tender.

The hot and sour soup tasted sweeter than the typical kind at Chinese restaurants.

Fried noodles, chopped green onions, and mustard served upon request.

Another request that few restaurants get right: warm water isn't hot water and it's not room temperature tap water. This one got it right the first time.

And the price was reasonable, around $10 per lunch plate.

We'll certainly go again!

Great place to have a hot bowl of Pho. I ordered a bowl of beef Pho, and it was generously loaded with meat and noodles. The vegetable add-ins were fresh, and the whole meal was delicious. The service was amazing, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean, and the meal prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food received.

This place was recommended and it did not disappoint. The food and service were excellent. The beef pho was amazing but what really made an impression was their customer service! We ordered take out and once we were home we realized they forgot our spring rolls. I called and they offered to make it right if we went back. We declined since we were already home and I did not feel like going back. A few minutes later the manager called us back and asked for our address. He personally delivered the spring rolls to us!! Amazing customer service that we did not expect but greatly appreciated.

I've eaten here many times. Very consistent food and service.
Great Vietnamese eggrolls. I've tried few other dishes, as well, all tasty - sometimes a little heavy on the salt, but still very good.
Service is top notch, perhaps the best part of this gem.
I'd highly recommend it.

So I spent some time in California, while there I ran into a Vietnamese restaurant. The owner was this little old lady, spoke broken English, made food to her family tradition cooking style, and this is where I discovered pho! Fast forward many years I've looked all around home for pho , and I found the amazing place! Definitely the best in San Antonio.

Wide selection of many dishes. Service was excellent. Went I when it was busy but food came out quickly and hot. Very much enjoyed the quality, flavors, and prices. The lunch specials are the way to go. This was my first visit and will certainly be back again. 👍

Me and my family have been going here for the past 28 years and we have never had anything to complain about. Amazing service and high quality food. I highly recommend getting the lemon grass pork chops or the pork vermicelli bowls. The spring rolls are also a must have every, trust me and order them.

Update Nov 2022: Taste of Asia has finally raised the menu prices. It has almost doubled to $12+ for a bowl of Pho. Still delicious but a little shocking of the price increase.

Best price for a bowl of Pho in town! Has been consistently serving pho since I moved here back in 2004! Soup is LOADED with meat and the broth is rich in flavor!

Ive been coming here for the last 13 years and it never disappoint's! P2 and Summer rolls is my go to for years. Haven't found a place that is even close to the quality and flavor. My husband and I's all time favorite!

this place has the best Pho in town have to get the spring rolls you wont order them anywhere else .. P5 and spring rolls is what i order highly recommended

We arrived and got a table quickly when we got to the restaurant. When we got the the table we ordered and got our food within minutes. My water had got refilled in less than 30 seconds. The meal that I got was kung Pao chicken.

The only thing I didn't like was that I was not offered any suggested meals. But after communicating with the waiter for a minute about my wants and needs, he offered me The Kung Pao chicken or the Chinese side. I enjoyed my meal as well as the soup that my partner received.

I enjoyed the food and we left full. My other suggestion would be that they put pictures of the meals on the menu so that we can make a better decision for our meal. Great food. Great place.

I took my wife here for Mother’s Day and it was amazing. The food was great and the atmosphere had a great family vibe our waiter Wyatt was very attentive and respectful. My favorite place to recommend .

Awesome pho noodle soup and nice service. We ordered P12, P14, and Vietnamese spring rolls. Definitely will go back!

My daughter introduced me to Taste of Asia. I must say, I'm looking forward to our next visit. The BEST Asian food I've ever eaten! The staff was very friendly and professional. Our new "go to" eating experience.

My family and I love this restaurant. Although the interior could probably use a renovation, the food is amazing and the service is prompt. The pho is delicious as well as their Chinese dishes such as the orange chicken. The price is fair and the portions are generous. With our toddler, a restaurant's atmosphere is very important to us and this place is perfect because it's very laid back. I wish I lived in the area so I could carry out from this place!

Lighting fast service for scrupulously delicious food. The egg rolls were fresh, as was the shrimp and scallops. We also had combination fried rice that he tender beef, shrimp and chicken cooked perfectly.

Food was delicious and staff were friendly. Food did not take very long to come out. The chicken lemongrass was awesome, but did have a small kick, but I enjoyed it.

I went to Taste of Asia tonight for the first time and it was delicious. They were so friendly! The food was hot and delicious. I got the Egg Foo Young, it was soooooo good!
Service was very fast but not so fast that you wonder if the food was just sitting out.

Love this place when I'm in the mood for Asian cuisine. Everything is extremely flavorful and well priced. There hasn't been a plate on the menu that I didn't enjoy.

My usual is the lemon grass chicken with egg drop soup. My only issue (which is a non-issue) would be that they dont have any sweet tea. Still a 5-star establishment!

I already highly recommend this place to friends and coworkers and will continue to do so.

Pretty good variety of Chinese and Pho dishes. It's pretty cool they offer their lunch menu on weekends as well.

My wife got the orange chicken which was quite flavorful with a bit of spice, but not top much. My kids even ate their meals. They have a kids menu of some normal American food, but it is a bit more expensive than I'd expect.

I got the P3 Pho. Came out hot and done just right. Pro tip: if youve never had Pho before, the "salad" that comes out ahead of the dish are garnishes for your pho. There is a good assortment of sauces to mix in on the table.

All and all very good. The service is attentive without smothering and the food came out quick. They appeared to have a lot of employees foe the after Church crowd and there's a good amount of space.
