Very kind employees, so helpful, and even mentioned the app to me before I made purchases, which has coupons and Deals all of the time. They have just about anything for your home and/or work needs. Would definitely recommend this location. its very nice, and a very clean store, as it just opened up recently.

I always enjoy visiting Day's. Unlike the other big box hardware stores where you're treated as if you have typhoid, at Day's you walk in, you're greeted, and get help IMMEDIATELY! I tried going to the other hardware stores for help, was ignored, and couldn't find what I really wanted in a hose hanger. I went to Day's and they had exactly what I needed, it's a better quality hanger, and I'll be returning my other item to the big box store. So before you head over to where you're being dodged by a bunch of college-age clerks who don't want you bothering them at their slack job where they stand around and socialize with other slacker clerks and ignore the customers? Do yourself a favor and go to Day's. You'll be treated like a real customer. And it's nice. Really nice.

They had just what I needed and everyone was masked. Only complaint is that I don't need to be asked 6 times in 5 minutes if I need help picking out screws. Took longer because I kept having to tell people I'm alright. But I'll take too helpful over having to chase somebody down any day. Really looking forward to the new location.

Always friendly. Always helpful. They have my drip irrigation parts so when I punch a hole in it or chop the tubing in half, they are just a short trip away. After 3 years of planting & replanting, one would think I would remember the tubing🤦‍♀. They have a million and a half bolts, screws, nuts, and pegs. If I can get it here, I love being able to avoid the large home improvement stores.

Absolute best hardware store in the area! By far and away beats the big box stores in customer service and knowledge! We popped in on a whim and needing a few small things and was stunned that we were asked (more than once) if we needed any help. Employees at Lowe's don't do that. It is a smaller store, so you won't be able to find everything, but they have fully utilized every square inch they have with a decent amount of selection! I will absolutely be visiting again!!

Beautiful new store. Friendly, courteous staff that is knowledgeable and most helpful. They're there to serve their customers and they let you know it. I'll gladly give them my repeat business.

Skip the big box store and go here. The employees are actually helpful and know their stuff. You can buy screws and nails by the piece or pound so you only get as many as you need. All kinds of little hardware treasures in here. And they love dogs! Just wear your mask, 'cuz they don't play around with that silliness.

From the moment we walked in the door I knew I liked this place. We always try to support small business owners and are blessed to have many in Denton. Right away an employee asked if there was anything he could help us find. We were looking for wood stain for a project for mother's day and he helped us find the selection and shared his experience with stain. It was informative and very helpful to understand that the drying time would be extended in wet weather. This hardware store had a big selection and will be top of the list next time we have a need around the house.

Hands down, best hardware store in town! After going to the large chain stores like Lowes and Home Depot not having what I need, I always end up back at Day's. I appreciate that there is always someone right there to immediately help you. Everyone is always so nice and helpful.

I am so fortunate to live a few blocks away from this store. They don't talk down to women--every time I go there, I am treated like an equal person. Takes a lot of the stress off DIY! They have plumbing experts, and they've helped me save probably thousands of dollars over the years. They always have the parts I need in stock, and go above and beyond to help me resolve problems. Today, for example, I needed a new washer for my hose bib; I brought the bib in to match the washer, but the screw holding it in place was corroded. The employee went to a lot of trouble to remove the corroded screw, installed a new washer and a new brass screw while I waited--all while he was helping other customers. And he was friendly and patient about it. Same trip, I chose a can of white trim paint and went to check out, but another employee saw me holding the paint and offered to shake the can; gave me free stirring sticks; even offered a free paint can opener (most stores don't offer them free these days). Awesome store.

Just left Day's, one of our favorite retailers. I went in pieces of broken PVC from two plumbing projects and walked out with great solutions and instructions from a very helpful young man. At the register, I commented on how much we appreciate the consistently exceptional customer service we find at Day's, and the woman at the register shared that they are actually a bit short handed today. Even short handed, Day's beats the pants off Lowe's and Home Depot when it comes to reliably great help that's easy to find. Thank goodness for small stores and thank goodness for the good people at Day's Hardware.

Home Depot who?? I come in here when I need help. It is not overwhelming for someone who doesn’t have a ton of knowledge on hardware.
Employees are very helpful and have never talked down to me or made me feel dumb about not knowing the difference between a course and smooth bolt or what have you. They’re the best!

Days hardware has a variety of items for building and construction. If you need basic hardware and want a convenient location, Days hardware has most of what you need! The staff are very friendly and willing to help you find what you need! Most of the staff have an understanding about basic DIY repairs and can offer guidance and advice on how to perform your installation/repair! ✔ Them out!!!

I love good old fashioned hardware stores, and this is it in Spades! Everything you could need, and many things you don't but must have. I use their key cutting service which I have found to be the cheapest and most efficient in town. Love this store!

What a upgrade for Denton. The move across the parking lot is a success. Met the new owner years ago, has a sense of pride rarely seen these days.

Great parking, in and out quickly, extremely knowledgeable and ready to help staff who walked around the store with me showing me where everything on my list was, far better experience than Lowe's OR Home Depot!! Extremely convenient and have everything I needed including a quick fix ice maker repair kit for my fridge.

Super helpful staff. First time I've been there and everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable. Good selection. Even had some really cool case pocket knifes. Will for sure be back!

Love this place. Always have what I need always have someone to help me find what I need! Highly recommended! Prices might me a little higher than the big box stores, but more friendly atmosphere and some always willing to help you out with what you need.
