Kroger

Stopped by this Kroger early this morning to grab some rice cakes! KROGER is the only store that carries these low calorie rice cakes. Robert was my cashier and asked me if I'd like to make a donation to a good cause. I agreed and he announced my donation over the intercom and the employees lapped and cheered. As I was walking out another announcement was made by someone different expressing their appreciation. This was a small gesture but it really started my day off on a pleasant foot! Thank you for having a clean store and excellent customer service!

I was having trouble with my Kroger pay, and Brandi and Ciara(sierra?) the security guard, went above and beyond to help so I did not leave empty handed. After 10

Aside from the local rep of this location, I love it. I adore the smiles and hello's I receive while shopping .. from staff and other customers. I always receive amazing customer service and man, did this Kroger save me on Thanksgiving with those last minute rotisserie chickens!!!

I mainly giving This a five star since the woman I see almost every single time I’m in there working the self check out computers is extremely nice, always seems to remember every single face she sees pass through those doors, always helpful even though I sure she gets the most angry people late at night, thank you for always being kind and patient and I hope you know how appreciated you are! Give this woman a raise!
I don’t know your name but she has the best braids and the most welcoming smile, always working the later hours at the self check out.

Dear Kroger,
I have lived in Denton, TX since 2004. I have been purchasing groceries at Kroger on University (500 W University Dr, Denton, TX 76201) for many years. Since the introduction of the self-serve check-out lanes; no-one has been a better employee than the young lady who works there now!! She was there today (2018.12.15); around 11:00 am Central Standard Time…when I, again, was a satisfied customer witnessing her impressive ability to manage customers with efficiency, tact, and etiquette. She is a compassionate, polite, and respectful...machine of efficiency; and she is supremely competent. Please give that gal a raise!!???!! She is the best employee I've seen in that store...ever! And, no! I have no relation to her; I'm simply a supremely satisfied customer who recognizes negative feedback comes with whims and moods...positive feedback comes rarely; and she deserves some positive feedback. She does an exceptional job and should be rewarded, if not compensated, for it!

I love this Kroger. They have a wonderful selection of higher end groceries. The meat department is outstanding and the chefs are very helpful. Sometimes the seafood is a little less than fresh. They have a great selection of wine and beer. The parking lot gets pretty crowded during busy times so beware.

Plenty of parking and easy to find. Restrooms need some maintenance. Women’s soap dispenser is damaged, stall door needs maintenance as well. Self service check out was quick and easy.

Who leaves their wallet at home when they are trying to quickly get groceries before going into work?? Apparently me lol… This is where Crissyy shaved the day by going way above and beyond. She first took the time to help me download the app so I could try to do a touchless payment but I didn’t have all of my card information to upload it.. I ended up leaving with my groceries and with a new favorite grocery store in the Denton area! Thank you again!

I love shopping at Kroger. I stopped by this one while visiting my sister-in-law in Denton. It's a nice, big store with a huge selection. It's always been my experience that Kroger prices are better than many of their competitors. Fast, easy checkout (with people to ring me up - didn't have to do that self-check thing to get out fast. I can say it again - I love Kroger!

Marla and Robbie a very helpful and on point . The store was clean friendly employee and got in did my shopping was out there was no line and everybody had a smile on it first I'll definitely go back.

Very busy Kroger. It has a nick name. Dead Kroger. The parking lot is very dangerous. It's easy to get hit there . The store has been expanded several times. It's has a olive bar fresh tortillas and an awesome deli featuring Boars Head meats.

Excellent selection of foodstuffs and other products!! Please keep up the good work. Staff is helpful and friendly. Kudos for having enough people on the job! Don't let HEB take over TX. They're creepy. Thank you!

I made a large order for deli trays for a memorial service for my mother in law. I made the order with the Denton, University Dr store, because I knew it would be convenient for me to pick up on my way from the Austin area to Gainesville, TX where the memorial would be held. As I traveled toward Denton, I had a tire blow out about 100 miles from Denton. I was already on a tight time schedule, and after three tire stores not having my size tire, I finally realized I would have to drive on the 'cheater' spare which was low on air to a larger market and find a tire store that could quickly get me back on the road. In the meantime, I called the Kroger to ask if a friend could pick up the deli trays for me and I would provide a credit card number. Alas, that is not the standard practice, and while the Deli team was sympathetic they did not have a way to help me other than connect me with their store manager, Christy Hunter, who went out of her way (she was not even on duty that day!) to find a way to accommodate our need. Our friend who was willing to pick up the order did not have the financial ability to pay for the order, so it was essential that we be able to provide a credit card over the phone. Christy was able to work out arrangements for us, and all we needed to do was drop by the store on our way home the following day to present the credit card to verify that all was well. This is a long story - but I want to stress that EVERYONE that we encountered at Kroger in this matter was more than willing to go to the maximum level of their authority and they did. They found a way to save the day for my family and we truly appreciate them all! And to top it off, everyone loved the food that we obtained from the deli. Love you Kroger - even from HEB land!!!

Sushi is killer!! This Kroger is super nice. Just make sure you check glass jars for cracks and all expiration dates. Those two things are always overlooked at stores.

it's not safe, it's not clean, the carts are never there, and it smells bad half the time, but it has cultural value to the city of Denton

Good neighborhood store with generally good produce and a nice selection of beer and wine. Also offers a small but helpful selection of organic and health foods, including several much appreciated vegan products.
