Peggy’s Place

Stopped by on the way home from a family camping trip. We were all a bit over hungry and looking for a really great meal. Peggy's did not disappoint! The ham was delicious the kiddos had waffles with strawberries and whipped cream, and French toast while the wife went with an omelet. Ron, our server was fast a friendly and Peggy was great with the conversation. Thanks so much for the wonderful stop over!

Their biscuits are to die for!! We have made this place a regular breakfast date location.

Update: Even amongst the challenges that the pandemic brings with running a small business, Peggy's does not disappoint. You can truly taste the love in their food. The restaurant is super clean and serving takeout with a smile.

Easy-going diner with elegant service and perfect food. The English muffin was actually toasted and buttered (vs kinda warm with a patch of butter in the middle). Crispy coarse-cut hash browns. Loaded omelet. If life brings you to the greater Vancouver area, do yourself a favor and head to Peggy’s Place!

Without a doubt the BEST breakfast around.
When we found Peggys Place it ruined all other breakfast places in the Vancouver area for us! Their food is absolutely amazing. It’s always fresh, perfectly seasoned and delicious. We take everyone who visits us here and everyone always asks to go back next time they are in town.
Their service is amazing. You feel like family when there.

As a parent we love bringing our kiddo here. She is 3 and we’ve never felt like she wasn’t welcomed with open arms. Down to the cups they have for kids (super sturdy straw cups) they’ve made it really comfortable to bring your kids to breakfast! Their kids menu is great and she always clears her plate!

It deserves more than five stars!

Delicious! I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with tots and a monster cookie. It was all very good. I grew up in BBQ country and the sauce Peggy's used was exceptional. Highly recommend! Just remember they're only doing takeout right now. I couldnt get the QR menu code on their door to scan but they have menus inside. The order was ready quickly when I ordered at the restaurant.

First time here. Zero expectations, yet my family all separately commented how good their food was. We’ll definitely be back. The food was really good - well worth a drive from East Vancouver. The staff was friendly. The place is clean. Place feels well run.

My breakfast burrito was awesome, best I’ve had in a long time! My wife loved her omelet, it was loaded with fresh looking veggies. Bacon here was quality. My kids really liked the friendliness of the staff.

Women working there were very welcoming and sweet. Very comfy chairs at our table! The place is decorated very nicely and they had the best chicken fried steak I have ever eaten!! Prices were affordable, portions were worth the price and the taste was awesome.

Such an inviting atmosphere and friendly staff! So welcoming for families with young children. Quaint little space with big hospitality and traditional breakfasts like the Belgian waffle which was unlike any waffle I’ve experienced. Highly recommend to anyone traveling through the area for breakfast with young kids.

Easily one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot. Everything was cooked perfectly, seriously, exactly what I asked for. The service was fantastic, the homemade hot sauce was bomb, and the place was neat and tidy. I will be returning, along with my family, to try more of the menu. Don’t let the parking fool you, this place is worth it. Hope they stay open for a good, long time.

So so good! Ordered the chicken sandwich with waffle fries and it was so good!! Had to order the biscuit and gravy when I saw they had sage sausage gravy! It did not disappoint! If I didn't live in California I would be here atleast once a week

My lunch buddies, Dr. M & Mrs. C met for our monthly luncheon plus rating the establishment. I gave it a perfect score, I had a Hawaiian melt, plus waffle fries & a Pepsi my tab came to $11.50 which included tax tipped him $3. Generous portions I couldn't eat all, brought home leftovers. Dr. M also, rated it a 5. But Mrs. C, she didn't, it was a 4, why? She felt the server should have known if we needed a refill without asking. She had to ask. I disagree, but that's me. Mrs. C did think the food generous & tasty. We plan to return. Loved to have a dessert, but no rm.
Every one should try Peggy's Place at least once. They close I think at 6p...

Came hear with the family on Christmas Eve for a late lunch. The sandwiches are amazing, the homemade hot sauces are brilliant, the key lime is delicious and they have waffle fries! The service was great and they did not rush us when they were closing, when I am sure they were wanting to be with there family. We were very grateful.

Breakfast is awesome and service outstanding. Unfortunately she has to move and relocate due to exceedingly high rental costs due to new ownership of the building. Sadly we will miss Peggy and her staff and praying for her newly establish location.

So happy Peggy's Place is here! The food is high quality and very tasty. Washougal has needed a place like Peggy's for a long time. The service is awesome and the food comes out hot and yummy. Peggy also sells some delicious candied popcorn and cheesecakes. If you want great food for breakfast and/or lunch Peggy’s is the best!

Had not been here for a few years and heard that's it quite good. Went there yesterday for lunch and found the service and food to be nothing short of excellent. I had french dip sandwich with waffle fries and it was great. Hearty portions of beef, onions and mushrooms. Prices are very reasonable.

Clean place and friendly staff. Big portions and food was tasty. Wait was a little on the longer side but not unreasonable, especially for the quality.
Good desserts, too! As a side note, they played great music!

Had the Southwest omelet and hash browns. Best breakfast since I don’t know when. Fluffy and tasty omelet, best hash browns ever. Great food and great service!

I really like the staff, and Peggy has asked everytime how was it. They make their own hot sauces, cornbeef plus other items. I have only tried a few different things on the menu. But the Pesto Chicken is amazing.

Was pleasantly surprised by this place. Fantastic family owned and run place serving spectacular food. Seems a lot of restaurants these days are closed or quality has gone down at our regular places. Happy to see this one has weathered the storm so far. This is our new regular place.
