Entered the store through the floral department, the spring flowers and floral smell was amazing. From there went directly into the produce department where the fresh fruit looked amazing, just popping! Continued through the store for other grocery needs. Excellent deli, wine and beer selection as well. Really nice cheese display. Plenty of quick grab items ready to go. Located inside the store is a Starbucks. Once outside, I was shocked by the helpfulness of Colin, he approached me and helped me with my cart. Very unexpected, and nice surprise! Thank you very much Colin! 2/19/24 2:00ish…

Love their flower selection, always fresh and much to choose from. I have ordered by phone and baught in person, they also make deliveries!

The pickup service has always been great and I applaud all the workers on their smiles. Today had a last minute order that placed it at a 7 pm pu but I can't drive in the dark. Claire filled order and was ready in plenty of time to get home before dark. Miranda helped! Love how they all work together like a family. Thx Washougal Safeway for always the best and friendliest of workers!

I love the digital deals! Today I got free cheese... This store is always clean and staff have been friendly and helpful. This store just happens to be conveniently located considering anything east is the middle of nowhere and everything else is considered civilization.

We had a good experience last week shopping here. Great customer service! The lady in the meat department was extremely helpful and showed us some good deals! Which in these times my family and I appreciate! Same with the cashier! She helped us to make sure we got the deals on the app. Very appreciated and we will be back! 😊

thought I would shop before the crowd hah! I guess others thought the same thing. Unbelievable busy. This was at 2:30p. But it's $5 Friday, nothing has changed much same friendly staff. Was surprised the checkout clerk, Mina asked me how I have been hadn't seen me for awhile. How did she remember, I told her usually shop early in the morning. She couldn't believe how good I looked, 6 months since my open heart surgery. Nice lady, always has a smile and a sweet hello.
Nothing has changed but the shelves. Why? Short supplies of popular items. No fault of Safeway, Pandemic has something to do with that. And, flooding, landslides Too!
No changes. Only change is higher inflation prices!

I felt like a king walking out with 3lbs of hamburger, fixings, several different types of delicious bread from the discount rack, 2 bags of chips and various other things for 30$. That Safeway number helps. Also I’d like to commend Kylee for her honesty and ability to resolve issues in a fast and professional manner when at no fault of my own was overcharged on my purchase by an additional 30$ for someone’s steak that got rang up on my bill (completely unbeknownst to me and not apparent on the Screen) And walked out with it. Kylee chased me down in the parking lot, refunded me nearly double because it overdrafted my account and nearly left me stranded. I’m not proud of myself for having gotten irate at one point, life is difficult when you’re living daily at zero and dishonest shopper screws you over and it has the potential to really mess you up financially. That’s REALLY embarrassing but nonetheless, Im sorry for being angry and thank you for taking care of business. That’s damn good service and refreshing to see people that take care of problems so efficiently. Cheers Kylee 💪

I have been shopping at Safeway for over 60 yrs now. I raised 6 children with the awesome help of their good sales and great products. During the past year with the covid 19 restrictions it has been so helpful to have my neighborhood Safeway nearby. They have been clean, well organized and safe. They are greatly appreciated. Go check out their great produce!

Cleanest batbrooms and friendliest staff I've ever encountered at a Safeway. I'm usually anti Safeway, but it was my only option ans I was pleasantly surprised. I would come back. The young man in the deli was great!

I don't think I have never reviewed a grocery store before but have had so many negative experiences lately, having such a good experience at this Safeway really stood out. First, it was well-stocked, clean and well-staffed. This was very apparent at the deli counter which usually seems understaffed and whoever is there, overwhelmed. My experience today was exactly opposite! Several people working this department and the young man who assisted me with a time consuming order was thoughtful, polite and professional. So refreshing! Then, I checked out with a delightful cashier (with a beautifully sequined pink mask) and a smile underneath it! And the icing on top... someone (besides me) bagged my groceries!!! At other Safeways in the last few months in Camas,Troutdale, Hood River and even here, I have been bagging my own costly purchases like I was at an old Food 4 Less... Thank you to the Washougal Store Manager for making my trip to Safeway a pleasant experience again.

All the cashiers I have encountered have been pleasant. The staff who bag groceries are very nice also.
The customers seem to have no concept of spacial awareness though.

This place has everything awesome. Let's start with coffee. Starbucks with friendly staff. Super friendly checkout clerks. (Bekah is my favorite, but they are all nice.) They have an awesome pharmacy where you can get your vaccines. And of course, a pretty decent selection of food, including locally sourced produce and dairy (yay Darigold). They've a surprisingly sophisticated selection of cheese and a nice deli counter too.

Nice Safeway, a girl in the deli department named Alexa was very friendly and helpful after everything I just ordered. She went above and beyond.

This Safeway is rarely overly-busy, always has great sales going on (buy 2 get 2 free on cases of name-brand soda!) and in my experience, has never been "out of stock" for any obscure item I happen to be shopping for. My favorite grocery store to shop at and I drive 30 miles from Stevenson, WA to shop here and save money.

Cashiers are amazing and they take exceptional care of EVERY customer no matter what the issue. The staff here at Safeway ARE THE REASON we shop here rather than go "into town" to buy groceries. I dont just reccomend this store I also. PATRONIZE INTENTIONALLY as do my neighbors...THANK YOU SAFEWAY...😁
